A Fantastic place to stay

By Damian B on 27-Aug-2022

From the moment we arrived until we left we had a magical experience in your "Home from Home". Everything that you would need was there with lots of extras to keep our large family entertained. The pool was a massive hit with the children and plenty of garden space to play games and find some tranquility. The barn was a winner with the table tennis and football being used daily. The house itself was very comfortable with the owners thinking of and providing everything that you might need. A great base from where you can explore the local area with a supermarket nearby. We left with a heavy heart but all determined to visit again in the future.

Super house, great location.

This is an ideal base from which to explore the Loire Valley however just lazing around the house and pool is what we enjoyed the most. Can''t fault anything about the house at all. I thought the pool cover would be a drag to remove and replace but it was actually no bother. We''d like to go back sometime soon and see more of the surrounding area. Highly recommended!

What a blissfully lovely place!

By Michele Rees-Jones on 04-Jun-2022

This was our first time at this lovely house. From the moment we walked into the garden it felt like the most welcoming place to drop our bags and forget the world for a week. The house is beautifully equipped with everything you need to dine inside or on the lovely pergola space outside. Colin and Carol have furnished the house itself in a really unpretentious yet really warm and inviting way. It's a super comfortable place to chill out with a coffee on the terrace or in the courtyard in the morning sun, to lounge by the pool in the afternoon, and then just flop into a very comfy bed when you've had one too many of the local cremant de Loire at the end of the evening :-) Our kids absolutely loved the freedom of the big garden which is really safely enclosed all around, the swimming pool was a huge hit, they loved the games room, and the swings were the icing on the cake. There is a village with a fab bakery very nearby that serves the best pain au chocolat and a large supermarket less than 10 mins drive away, so all very convenient. We definitely hope to return so we can explore more of the chateaux which seem to be around every corner and more of the towns and villages that all have their own charms. All in all, we couldn't recommend this place any more highly!
