Second Lounge with Air Conditioning, plasma TV, CD player, CD's, books, games for all ages, patio doors to built in barbecue, patio furniture & garden. 5 Bedrooms (1 en-suite) all with Air Conditioning, built in wardrobes, Hair Dryers & Bath Robes. 3 bedrooms with patio doors onto sunny terrace suitable for sunbathing. Chill out areas comprise bar, pool table, separate TV, CD player, playstation2/DVD, table tennis, football table, rowing machine, cycling machine, exercise mats & fridge/freezer. Safe. There are 3 Cots, 1 High chair, Playpen, 2 Push Chairs, Avent Microwave Steam Steriliser & Avent Bottles available. Maid service 3/4 days a week. Pool Towels provided. Free Wi-Fi.Travel Arrangements: We can arrange Airport Transfers for you through our local Management Team. You can also arrange with a member of the Team trips to Algarve Shopping Centre, Local Markets, Water Parks, Zoomarine, Golf Courses etc. If you prefer to do your own driving we can also recommend a competitive Car Rental Company based at Faro Airport. Although car hire is not required at this location we do recommend you make the most of your visit to the Algarve.
Local Management Team: Our local Management Team will be on hand in case of any problems. A member of the Team will call with you shortly after arrival to answer any questions you may have about the Villa, the surrounding area and excursions.
Information: In the Villa you will find a selection of maps and brochures on places of interest to visit, also information on the local
Restaurants recommended both by ourselves and Clients. We also supply two Folders with information on the
Electrical Equipment contained in the Villa and instructions on the use of the Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer etc. First Aid
Case containing the basics also supplied. Avent Microwave Steam Steriliser & Avent Bottles available.
To secure a booking of the Villa a 20% Deposit is required. The remaining balance of the rental of the Villa is payable 8 weeks
Prior to departure together with the Surety of £300.00. Provided there is no damage to the Villa during the rental period, the
Surety will be returned. The Villa during the months of “July and August” is a “Saturday Transfer”.

By Marie (Ireland) on 10-Jun-2026We have just returned from Casa bougainvillaea and all i can say is go you won’t be disappointed, the villa is huge there were 9 of us and i can honestly say that we were all able to have space when needed for some quite time and also when we got together in the lower games room for pool , snooker and the bar for a night of dancing on the dance floor it was fab. Great size bedrooms and comfy beds , plenty of bathrooms to accommodate everyone. kitchen fitted with all that is needed we used the outside bbq which was great, then there is the outside lots of sun beds to lounge in and soak up the sun and the pool was just great to cool off in. Also during our stay a lovely lady came and changed the beds and towels and did a wee clean up so a big thank you to her . Pool was also cleaned by a lovely friendly guy. You are about a ten minute stroll to the strip just up pass the bullring with an aldi just beside it so no need for a car . Uber taxis are cheap and can be easily got if you down load the app , all in all it was a lovely holiday as usual in albuferia and this villa just topped it all off we are hoping to book again for next year as John and Norah we’re lovely to deal with nothing was any trouble and communication was always a text or a phone call away so if you are looking for a villa that has everything go for it, so thanks John and Norah Marie and Gary (ireland)
Fantastic Stay at Casa Bougainvillaea!!
By A Stewart on 23-May-2026Just back from a fantastic stay at this villa! The villa is incredibly spacious with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves! We loved the character of the property, with many quirky features that made it feel unique and memorable rather than just another holiday villa. The facilities were outstanding: the generously sized bedrooms and bathrooms, the pool, the bar with snooker table, dance floor and the table tennis facilities, meant there was always something to do! The villa is exceptionally equipped including WiFi and air conditioning throughout which was greatly appreciated by my teenagers! The beautiful bougainvillea flowers that give the villa its name add real colour and charm creating a lovely atmosphere throughout the outside spaces! Every detail has been considered by the owners which made it the perfect place for our family holiday! The owners were so helpful and the additional help with transfer bookings is a real bonus! We would not hesitate to recommend this villa to others and look forward to returning in the future!

The villa is incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all generously sized and very comfortable. We absolutely loved the character of the property, with lots of quirky features that made it feel unique and memorable rather than just another holiday villa. The facilities were outstanding. The swimming pool, the table tennis, the bar and dance floor meant there was always something to do on an evening! The villa is exceptionally well equipped, with excellent Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout, which was particularly appreciated by our teenagers. Outside, the beautiful bougainvillea flowers that give the villa its name add real colour and charm, creating a lovely atmosphere throughout the property. Every detail has been considered by the owners, including the extra offer of organising transfers to and from the airport. We would not hesitate to recommend it to others and we look forward to returning in the future!
Fantastic holiday
By Ian Marley on 02-Aug-2025Casa Bougainvillea was tremendous. Our party of 11 thoroughly enjoyed themselves at this huge house which was very clean and well equipped. The youngsters were too young to fully appreciate the games rooms downstairs but the pool kept them happy all the time. The house is so big we never felt cramped or under each others feet. The house set in residential area is a close walk to Aldi and Spar and many restaurants. We used Ubers whenever we had days out (zoo marine, Aqua land, boat trips from Marina etc) they were affordable and quick to come. Many thanks to our hosts John and Norah who sorted our airport transfers and were there for us if any issues.
Casa Bougainvillea
By Steve Carlile on 07-Jun-2025Just returned with our family from this villa. 7 adults and our 1 year old granddaughter. Re-booked for next year, within a week of returning home. Firstly the hosts John and Norah, who were excellent at responding to any queries re booking and the villa itself. Could not fault the villa in the slightest, ideally located in a lovely residential area for families. The facilities were excellent, there was absolutely everything we could ever have needed in the villa. As well as plenty of crockery, cutlery etc, etc, there was also an array of books & games. We just ran out of time to make use of them. During our stay we had a cleaner call twice during the week, who provided us with clean towels and also we had a visit from the gardener & a guy came to clean the pool. We have already recommended this villa to our friends, who are looking to do a similar holiday in the future.
Everything you could want and more!

Impeccably clean, large enough so everyone could get some own time and privacy from each other. Nicely decorated and with the added benefit of a superb pool and games room with bar! Just a 5 minute stroll to nearest restaurants and bar, 10 minutes walk to Aldi and the top of the Strip. Beaches are 20 minutes walk away or 5 mins by car, with Old Town being a 5 minute taxi away. Perfectly placed for quiet days and busy noisy nights.
