Description
Casa Castelinho is a beautiful, private air conditioned/heated villa, ideally situated in a quiet location and yet only a 15 minute walk* from the centre of Carvoeiro with it's many shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and it's stunning beach. It is an independent villa with a private heated** pool (10m x 4m), spacious pool terrace and small walled garden featuring palm tree's and tropical plants. The layout offers privacy, tranquility and safety and promises a truly relaxed holiday for families and groups of friends.The villa is fully air-conditioned and comprises a modern, well equipped kitchen with a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and washing machine. There are 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms all of which are en-suite (3 en-suite wet rooms with rainfall showers & 1 en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over) and have built in wardrobes offering plenty of storage. The open plan lounge dining area is comfortable and spacious with satellite cable TV, DVD player, WiFi and plenty of seating for all the family. Patio doors offer a lovely view of the pool area.
The pool terrace offers plenty of space for relaxing, whether that be sunbathing or enjoying a spot of al fresco dining! There is an inbuilt BBQ, situated close to the outdoor dining area, offering the perfect setting for long lazy lunches or sizzling feasts in the late evening sun! The private pool (depths 0.81/2.7ft - 1.8/6ft) will be enjoyed by children & adults alike, with lots of space to play, swim or just cool down after a morning spent in the gorgeous Portuguese sun!
Secure parking is available for up to 3 cars. The villa is completely fenced & enclosed and benefits from a burglar alarm for additional security.
* The return walk from Carvoeiro is quite steep in places and may not be suitable for very small children or those with mobility difficulties. However, there are always plenty of taxis available in Carvoeiro centre.

Please note, a minimum charge of £750 will apply for short stays.

1st April - 31st October - €2 per person/per night (capped at €14)

Large villa for families
By Kate on 15-Aug-2026I travelled as 2 families - and the villa Had plenty of space for everyone - teenagers to hide when they were not in the pool and for adults to relax. The pool Is in the sun most of the day and the outside areas have loads of sun and shade to meet all needs. The villa was lovely and clean with great AC and the walk into town, although hilly was easily doable. Local taxis and Uber all easily available to help if no car. Great location for aqua park, cave trips and the beach and restaurants.

Lovely spacious villa
By Jackie Morgan on 25-Jul-2026We spent a lovely two weeks here, the villa was very spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. It was a bonus to have so many bathrooms being a party of nine. The walk into Carvoeiro took us 20-30 mins and we did find a shorter route back . We did get a taxi back several times , they are readily available on the square and didn’t cost a lot. We used Uber to get to places further afield. All in all a fabulous two weeks .

By I Ittner on 29-Jun-2026We had a nice holiday in the house. The communication beforehand was good, and we also received tips on restaurants and other things when I asked about them. The outdoor area was lovely, and so was the pool. The distance to everything was good, but we also had a car so we could go on excursions.
