Casa Descoberta is a spacious 4-bedroom, 3 bathroom villa near Carvoeiro, sleeping up to 8 guests. Ideally located for exploring the Algarve, the villa is close to restaurants, bars, beaches and some of the region's best golf courses, while the charming coastal village of Carvoeiro is less than 10 minutes away by car.
The Villa
Inside, Casa Descoberta has been modernised throughout, with comfortable living spaces designed for families and groups. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for anything from a quick breakfast to a relaxed evening meal.
The four bedrooms comprise a king-size bedroom, a queen-size bedroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with two single beds. making the accommodation flexible for families and groups of friends. There are three bathrooms and a WC, providing plenty of convenience for larger groups.
Because everything is arranged on a single level, Casa Descoberta is particularly convenient for families with children and guests who prefer not to negotiate stairs during their stay.
Outside
The private swimming pool is the natural centrepiece of the outdoor space. Enjoy breakfast in the sunshine, cool off in the pool during the warmer part of the day, or relax on a sun lounger with a book.
For relaxed evenings, the outdoor dining area and traditional brick-built BBQ provide the perfect setting for alfresco meals and drinks beneath the Algarve sky. Pool heating is available on request at a cost of €30 per night, making the villa particularly appealing outside the hottest summer months.
Location
Casa Descoberta is conveniently located for enjoying the Algarve without being far from everyday amenities. A local mini-market is within easy walking distance and offers fresh bread daily, while larger supermarkets are approximately five minutes away by car.
Several restaurants and bars are also nearby, making it easy to enjoy a meal or a drink without having to travel far.
The beautiful coastal village of Carvoeiro is less than 10 minutes away by car, with sandy beaches, restaurants, bars and its picturesque village atmosphere. Taxis and Uber are also readily available, giving guests the flexibility to explore the area without always needing to drive.
Golf and beaches
Golf enthusiasts are particularly well catered for, with the Gramacho and Pinta golf courses approximately five minutes away.
For a day at the beach, Praia Grande near Ferragudo is around 10 minutes away by car. Enjoy the clear waters, relax on the sand or visit the beach bars and watch the sun set over the coastline.

We really enjoyed the house

Absolutely wonderful Villa
By Kate T on 12-Jun-2024We booked this villa and can honestly say it’s one of the best villas we have stayed in. The villa was immaculately presented. The owner provided all of the essential items needed including all washing detergents, softener, soap. The kitchen was well equipped with plates, pans, glasses, etc, more than worst required. The bets were very comfortable, and also all of the size of the rooms and showers were also very good. Outside there was plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas if required and the pool was probably the best we’ve seen for a private villa absolutely immaculate. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa for a holiday or short stay and we will definitely be returning.
Very well appointed villa

The villa is very well appointed with a lovely private outdoor space and a great sized, very clean and clear pool. The villa itself includes a separate indoor laundry space which came in very handy throughout our stay. Air conditioned bedrooms were a welcome confort for warmer nights. The location is a short drive from several large supermarkets and is a short drive or cheap taxi into Carvoeiro. Mark was a great host and responded in good time to any queries. All in all highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a villa of this size in easy reach of many things the Algarve has to offer.
Brilliant Villa that has everything you need for a perfect stay.

Fabulous villa located a couple of miles outside Carvoeiro in Sesmarias.
By Roger M on 26-Aug-2025Mark is a gracious host and welcomed us personally to give a tour of the amply equipped villa (there literally isnt anything missing, anything you would need is there). He left a nice welcome pack and explained that he would be on hand if needed as he lives close by. The villa is spacious and tastefully decorated, but the star of the show is the large pool and BBQ area that we used every day/glass of wine on roof terrace watching the sunset over the hills and sea. To note though, the pool is very deep (2.3m at its deepest) but is clearly marked out, was no issue for our party, but those who arent confident swimmers or have very young kids should note - however for us it was great and we had a great time. Highly recommended...
