Casa Solemar
Solemar is a 4 bedroomed villa set in 1.5 acres of fully fenced landscaped gardens. It sleeps a max of 8 adults (or mix of adults/children) and a baby with cot and high chair included in the price. Access to the villa is through electric gates and as you approach the villa there is a car port plus space for several other vehicles to park. The driveway continues around the rear of the villa where you will find another set of electric gates. The villa is situated 3 km from Carvoeiro or a 5 mins drive. Ubers and taxis are plentiful and readily available.
A 10 mins stroll gets you to the Rocha Brava resort where there is a shop for your dailies such as newspapers, milk, bread etc. The Cafe at Rocha Brava serves meals and has live music on Friday and Monday evenings with a fantastic outdoor atmosphere. Rocha Brava also has a tennis club offering tennis and pickleball and members of the public are welcome to use this for a small fee. There are numerous 18 hole golf courses within 15 mins drive from Carvoeiro and there is also a great 9 hole par 3 course at Vale de Milho with cafe and restaurant just 15 mins walk from the villa.

Ground Floor
The kitchen is well equipped with a breakfast bar and has a 5 ring gas hob, electric oven, microwave, larder fridge, dishwasher and coffee maker. In the adjoining utility room there is an American style fridge freezer with ice maker and filtered cold water, washing machine and tumble dryer.

The lounge and dining area is open plan with comfortable furnishings. A large Samsung Smart TV offering UK channels (BBC1/BBC2/ITV/Chan4/Chan 5 Sky Sports + a movie channel with a good selection of films) is also available. In the centre of the villa is a glass sided atrium, a lovely feature allowing daylight to cascade down with a tree spanning up to the first floor. Two large patio doors allow access to the outside terrace. The large terrace flows from the main living area and opens down to the pool and it's surrounding terrace and gazebo. There are 8 sun beds and 4 parasols around the inviting pool terrace area.
The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms and 2 bathrooms. A cot and high chair are available for younger members of the family. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor and the master suite is on the first floor.
There is a double bedroom with a super king size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, vanity unit and WC. Patio doors open onto the garden. There is also a ceiling fan.
There is a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room, double washbasins and WC. Once again patio doors onto the garden. The other bedroom also has patio doors onto the garden. The adjoining bathroom has a bath, shower, double washbasins, and WC.

First Floor
On the first floor landing there is a cupboard which contains a safe for guests to use. The code will be available from the house manager. The air-conditioned master bedroom has a super king sized bed, a dressing room leading to an en-suite bathroom with a corner bath, large walk-in shower, double washbasins and WC. There is also a ceiling fan in the bedroom. From the patio doors there is a large roof terrace with panoramic 360 degree views. With the property's elevated position, there are sea and bay views as far as Armacao de Pera. There are a couple of sun loungers on the terrace if you want to get away from it all and there are wonderful sunrises and sunsets viewed from here.
