Description
Casa Cara Mia is a beautiful 3 bed, (all en-suite) fully air conditioned villa in a quiet area of Carvoeiro but only 10 mins walk to the village. With 2 double bedrooms and one twin, a spacious comfortable lounge and dining area and modern kitchen with every utility/utensil we could think of supplying, All 3 en-suite bathrooms have been recently refurbished to a high modern standard. Cara Mia is an excellent choice for families of up to 6. (We can take 6 plus 1 baby outside of July and August). The pool is in an open area in front of the villa itself and the views on offer are fabulous. The villa has fencing around the pool area for additional child security, complete with a lockable gate. If this is required please just request this in your emails. Between the pool and villa area, there is a table and chairs for Al Fresco dining in the evening and with underwater pool lighting plus wall lights illuminating the area, it makes for a fabulous ambiance when BBQ'ing in the evening. The sun sets almost directly in front of the villa and the views at dusk are breathtaking. Access to the spacious roof terrace is via a set of steps to the rear of the villa and the views are jaw-dropping. Having a glass of wine at dusk watching the sunset from here is just beautiful. For shade during the hot afternoons, there are two automatic sun shades operated by remote control plus there are plenty of parasols around the pool area. There are several sunbeds for guests relaxation too. The pool has a top of the range Heat Siphon pool heater which can be requested at an additional cost. The pool heater is switched on approx 3 - 5 days prior to guests' arrival so that it is at warm swimming temp at that time, therefore nil comfortable swimming days are lost.At the rear, there is a spacious garden where children can play safely as it is fully enclosed. There is also a rear terrace with table and chairs for relaxation. This villa has every ingredient for a fun packed safe family holiday. The villa is fully licensed with the Town Hall under the Alojamento Local Licence (AL). AL 252/2014 . Max up to 6 adults (or mixture of children/adults) plus 1 baby. For July and August max is 6 in total. Air conditioning is available inclusive of the prices shown and is in all 3 bedrooms and the lounge. Large discounts for over 4 weeks booking in the winter period are offered. Please ask for details. Wi-fi is a good speed fibre optic line with range extenders and free of charge.

Fabulous Villa
By Aileen Stewart on 20-Jun-2026We had a 2 week stay at Villa Cara Mia and would totally recommend to everyone. We were a group of 6 adults but I would definitely say it would suit a family just as well. The outside seating/eating areas are all around the Villa and on the roof where you get amazing views and can watch the sunset. The bedroom areas are all roomy and all have ensuite. The beds are all comfortable. The kitchen, dinning and lounge area is all open plan, well furnished and again roomy. The kitchen is recently refurbished and has everything in it you could want, I was very impressed! There is a gas BBQ and a traditional built in BBQ outside. Also a table tennis table outside but undercover which was good . Everything you need is in the villa, a real home from home. The walk into the town was only 10 mins. We have stayed in several villas in Carvoeiro over the years but we all agreed this has been the best by far! And a big thank you to Peter for making the booking process so easy, we will definitely book again.

A great place to stay

Fabulous villa
By Lara on 16-Aug-2025Just returned from a 14 day family (5) weeks holiday at Cara Mia- a wonderful villa with absolutely everything you need for a great holiday. Beautifully clean, lovely furnishings and well situated for a walk in to the centre ( hilly but only 10-15 mins). Peter was super helpful when making the booking and Sonia looked after us whilst there- we would 100% recommend staying here and very much hope to again.

Unoverlooked
By D. Bonnyhood on 16-Jun-2025Loved the villa. So quiet and peaceful. Not overlooked by other properties. Close to Carvoeiro, local shops and restaurants. Very relaxing holiday location with good sized rooms. Well equipped kitchen, with utensils, cutlery, wifi, tv etc

Superior accommodation and great place to holiday in the Algarve
By Jeff Long on 27-Jul-2024This was our fourth time in Carvoeiro and our most enjoyable to date. The villa is around 15 mins walk from the town centre and is in a quiet and safe location. Spotlessly clean with every room en suite and a very well equipped kitchen along with an outdoor gas and charcoal BBQ. We opted for the heated pool and it was the highlight of the trip; the kids were in it first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening. Although not necessary we hired a cst which was very useful for shops / beaches and water parks etc. The area is very well served by Uber and only ever a short time waiting for a taxi to the town in the evenings. Thanks to Peter, Sonia and Anna for the very attentive help and communication during our stay. Disappointingly the villa is already booked for our holiday next year but we hope to be back to Villa Cars Mia soon!

The Villa is beautifully finished and the location is perfect, 10 minute walk to town. As always Peter and Sonia were fantastic and made the whole booking process and contact during our stay very straight forward! We cannot fault a thing and are already looking to come back!!
