Description
This is a typical Portuguese farmhouse which has been sympathetically restored to provide the perfect holiday home. The property is approached along a partly unmade country lane flanked by almond trees and fields of wild flowers. It is set within an acre of grounds which includes an orange grove, parking area and pretty, colourful gardens with a variety of fruit and nut trees. The patio has a barbecue, outdoor furniture and fronts a 9m x 4m pool with a shallow area for young children and there are fantastic views for miles around from the roof terrace.The main villa has an en suite double bedroom and a twin bedded room, along with sofa beds in the lounge.
OPTIONAL : For an additional £30 per night Suita Antiga, a self contained en suite double bedroom, with additional sofa bed, attached to the house but accessed by a separate external door, can be added to your booking. This is only available when renting the villa and cannot be let separately.
Cot and high chair available on request and payable locally.
Pool heating available for £100 per week, though it's unnecessary in summer months.
Towels and linen provided. A local firm manages the villa and they will clean it and tend to the garden during your stay along with assisting you in any way they can.
This is the ideal place whatever your holiday requirements; it's tranquil, rural location is idyllic yet all amenities are within walking distance. Carvoeiro is a 20 minute walk away and a supermarket is a 15 minutes walk away. There are many activities on offer locally including golfing, horse riding, water sports, boat tours, jeep safaris and visiting areas of historical interest. To keep the younger members of the family entertained there are 2 water parks and a Zoomarine park nearby.

Wonderful
By Simon on 13-Jul-2026Fantastic place to stay. Very peaceful and a yet close to everything you need for a great holiday. Hosts are very helpful and efficient and house was very clean and had everything we needed as a family of 6. Pool and separate hot tub were fantastic. Highly recommend and I would definitely visit again.
Fabulous stay
By Jill and NIge on 20-Jun-2026We had a fabulous stay at the villa. It was so peaceful and secluded, all we could hear were the birds. Carvoeiro is within walking distance, as is the local supermarket, but in the heat of the day, I would advise to get a taxi ( 6 euros ). The villa had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable, and Rosa, the lady who looks after the villa, was always available if we needed advice and popped in to change the bedding and towels after our first week. She is a lovely lady who can tell you everything you need to know. It was very hot during our stay and we were so grateful to have the pool to cool down in. We used it every day. The pool-man came twice a week to tend to the pool and kept it pristine. He also tended to the hot tub which we made good use of. Carvoeiro is a beautiful place. The beach is small, but beautiful with soft golden sand and safe swimming. There are lots of lovely places to eat and drink and plenty of gift shops and supermarkets. The best supermarket is Intermarche, about 20 mins walk. We walked there, did our weekly shop and had a taxi back. We had such a good time, we were sad to leave, but will definable be back. Beautiful property.

The property feels beautifully secluded while still being within easy reach of the town and supermarkets. The lane leading to it can be a little challenging, especially in the dark, but it certainly adds to the sense of adventure and privacy! The outdoor space was a real highlight. We loved the private swimming pool, hot tub, and patio area, and having breakfast outside each morning was a real treat. The rooftop terrace is also lovely, with beautiful views across the surrounding countryside. A little lighting up there—perhaps some solar-powered fairy lights—would make it even more magical in the evenings. Inside, the villa was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. It stayed wonderfully cool, providing a blissful retreat from the Algarve sunshine. There are just a couple of small suggestions that could make an already excellent stay even better. Blackout curtains or blinds in the twin room would be greatly appreciated, as the current voile curtains allow a lot of early morning light into the room. We also wanted to do a small amount of laundry during our stay, and it would be a thoughtful touch to provide a small supply of washing powder or tablets for guests. Overall, these were very minor points in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to others and would be delighted to return ourselves in the future
Wonderful Villa
By M Kaye on 01-Jun-2026We had a fantastic time at this lovely clean and peaceful villa. It was exactly as described and the pool was amazing. The hot tub and roof terrace were lovely extras as well. The hosts were great and very accommodating for our needs. Just to note that access to the villa was just past the dead end so harder to reach by car.

A place of Paradise you never want to leave
By Debbie Tyson, Richard Tucker Tracey and Patricia T on 02-Jun-2025Many many thanks 🙏 Stephanie and Richard for sharing and allowing us to stay in your lovely villa, to be honest never wanted to leave we all had such a lovely relaxing time. The roof top terrace was an added bonus sitting up there in the evenings was like being in another world with the spectacular sunsets sharing it with the birds also a wonderful sight to watch in the morning and evening. Everything was catered for in your villa plus more, the added bonus for Mum in the evenings was watching her British television programmes…. Plus having a bath in the villa as I thought it was just showers and she loves her baths. Rosa was brilliant, popping in to see us and help us out, she is very friendly kind and considerate. The pool man was very thorough in the pool cleaning too; we were in the pool every day and managed to get Mum in a few times too (she has very limited ability at the age of nearly 85 but she managed very well) Thank you and Richard ever so much for a wonderful relaxing holiday, we are looking to book again hopefully this year if there’s any availability left. The villa is truly lovely and all the garden and surroundings was my favourite being outside with nature with the birds. It was so peaceful and tranquil a holiday that we all needed and appreciated.
