Description
Two spacious 4 bedroom villas sleeping up to 18 people comfortably. The villas share a secure garden (electric gates) which spreads over two acres and includes an enormous gated swimming pool and a tennis court. The tennis court was completely relaid in 2021. Over the winter of 2022/3 the swimming pool and surrounds have been completely renovated and a new pool house built comprising another wonderful sitting area, two small kitchens housing sink, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Perfect for early evening drinks. The pool is enormous, at least 15m x 9m, with a diving board in the deep end. Over the winter of 2024/5 the extensive gardens have been completely renovated to make them more climate resilient. There is still a lawn between the two villas, a new orchard, flower beds and mediterranean planting.Despite being surrounded by orange groves and countryside on all sides we are only 10 mins from Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vila Sol golf courses and the fantastic local beaches & beach bars. In addition there are many restaurants and bars within walking distance.
The setup is ideal for two or more families (each villa is perfect for two families of four), or large groups of friends who wish to holiday together. The villas and gardens lend themselves to large three-generation groups as they allow space for everyone to have their time together and apart. The villas are also very well suited to golf/tennis parties.
Almancil is just 5 minutes away by car and boasts great supermarkets and shops for all the essentials, and Faro airport is 20 minutes away by car.
Changeover days for 2024 will be Monday to Monday although the state school half term holidays changeover will be Saturday to Saturday.

A wonderful multigenerational stay
By Emily on 16-May-2026We had a wonderful family holiday celebrating my mother in laws 60th birthday. We were a group of 10 adults and 6 children. The houses were spacious and well equipped. The groups were meticulously maintained and perfect for children to run and play. Having two houses was especially beneficial given the number of families and children so things never felt cramped during meal or bedtime. The property is slightly off the beaten track but conveniently there are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities a short drive away we used both a rental car and uber to get around. The week would only have been made better with a heated pool as all of the children were 3 years and under, it was a little too cold for them!to enjoy.
Great multigenerational stay

The grounds were meticulously maintained and a perfect space for children to run around. Having two separate villas for multiple families was really helpful as no where felt crowded and we could all convene outside during the day and evening. The location is slightly off the beaten track but shops, restaurants and other amenities are a short drive away with everything accessible via a rental car or Ubers which are plentiful in the area. The week would only have been made better if the pool was heated as the children were mostly 3 years and under, it was too cold for them!
Amazing! Villas, pool and hosts! 10/10

From the very first enquiry we made, Lynn and Simon were super attentive and all communication was quick and accurate. Simon and Lynn could not have ben any more helpful. Advice on shopping, places to eat and even being there for a shopping delivery for us as we had little time between arrival and golf. The villas have everything you need and the rooms are lovely. The pool is massive. It was so refreshing in the am and after a hot day on the golf course. This place is a haven for any large families with kids or a large group of adults who are responsible and able to respect the place as their own. It really was a great trip for us and we would love to return. The location is close to a range of golf courses. Especially the Quinta Do Lago ones. It was a 15 mins taxi to the marina and there are other local bars and places to eat within walking distance. Thanks again to Lynn and Simon for all their help. Enjoy.
Perfect family villas
By Alexandra Cherry on 21-Jul-2025These are two villas and a pool house with it's own freezer & dishwasher with every possible facility you could want. We were a three generation active family who made full use of the enormous pool and tennis court. The villas are set in expansive beautifully landscaped gardens with lots of room to throw frisbee , kick football. We BBQed , cooked and ordered in good as it was so lovely gathering round the large table on the shaded patio. We would highly recommend with no reservations and hope to return in a couple of years.

By Gerardus Versteeg on 07-May-2025We enjoyed our stay with 3 generations immensely. The 2 houses are not particularly luxurious, but very spacious, fully equipped and wonderfully quiet. But the real highlight is the truly beautifully landscaped garden with tennis court, enormous swimming pool, jeu de boules court, BBQ and the lovely pool house where we sat in the evening. A big 10!
