Excellent
By Daniel Warren on 26-Sep-2026Communication from start to finish was amazing, best we have experienced. Everything was straightforward and hassle free. Pictures don't do the villa justice, it was amazing and had everything we needed for a large family group of 15. Quiet areas to read and sun bath, amazing pool, bar areas with out door fridge and ice machine where we spent time to socialise and and large tables to eat together. Location was perfect for us, with shops in Almancil close enough to walk too and uber back from. When we wanted to get out the villa the beech was a 15min car ride away and main towns of Faro and Loule were about the same. We had a great time exploring the area and the waterpark nearby was one of the best we have been too. All together this was one of our best villa holidays todate
Super holiday, with a large family
By Black family on 15-Aug-2026We had a super holiday with our children and grandchildren. The pool is amazing, we paid for a fence ( €300 for two weeks), which was expensive but worth it, due to the age of some of the children in our group. There are lots of outdoor spaces, shaded or sunny, which was great. The house is lovely, some parts spectacular and other parts either not completed to the same standards or well lived in and maybe need updating, like the kitchen for example. There were lots of utensils, plates, pans but one cooker and it was difficult at times cooking for a large group (21). I was a little worried when we arrived that we did not have enough beds for guests (there are 4 doubles, 1 King, 1 queen and 2 twins ) and the others are sofa beds or put you up beds, which are ok for a few days but we were there for 2 weeks. We made it work, using a mixture of the available beds. There was a games room which was great and had lots of inflatables etc for the pool. We contacted the owner several times while we were away and she responded quickly and resolved issues, although some of them were there when we arrived. The Villa is enclosed and totally safe for young children. The pool and grounds are cleaned and cared for regularly. The Villa is quite remote, there is a nice church you can walk to but there are no pavements as such, you walk on the roads. The Villa is easy to reach from the airport and quite cheap in an uber €15 / €20 depending on the size of the group. We used uber to access the shops, water park and harbour area and decided against a car, as the taxi’s were so reasonable. There was a cocktail bar and an outside bar, which we didn’t really use as our party was more children than adults but both are nice spaces. Lovely being able to spend quality time with all our children & grandchildren in one space, definetley a holiday to remember.
Group of 18 July
By Rianna on 25-Jul-2026We were a group of 18, 5 different families. The villa was well equipped, met all of our needs, plenty of space without feeling on top of each other. Villa was as described, communication with Nathalia was great, answered any questions promptly. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. We didn’t hire a car, Ubers were readily available.

Excellent
By Philip B on 22-Apr-2026We had a family holiday at Church Farmhouse for Easter week, thirteen of us including grand parents, parents and grandchildren with an age range from three to seventyfive. We all had a great time and the pool was a huge success. It was certainly well worth paying the extra to have it heated. Also choosing to have the safety fence put up allowed our smallest ones to run and play in the garden without any worries. The villa was exactly as described and vey comfortable.. All had their own room and there were plenty of quiet spaces for relaxing in the sunshine. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and we could all get around the table for meals. We also made use of the gas barbecue and paella burner. All the beds were comfortable and the showers excellent with super hot water. The villa location was fine for us but you really need a car to get around. It made shopping much easier and we were able to travel from Lagos to Tavira. One favourite was trip to Barril Beach to take the train to see the anchors. That day the Atlantic was flat calm and the beach superb for paddling, digging and collecting shells. The old couple also walked down to visit the church near the villa. .Inside it is amazing and you should really take a look then have a very good coffee in the little cafe nearby. So it was an amazing week, exceedng our expectations, and the whole thing made possible with the brilliant communication and help of Nathalie and Paul.
