Description
If you’re looking for a stress free relaxing vacation….. this is it!Luxurious, spacious and practical, the villa is set in a village location, just a short stroll from numerous bars and family friendly restaurants. The villa was renovated to cater specifically for groups of families and friends. It is well equipped, with ample indoor and outdoor seating for dining and lounging. Its design, and the access to the garden or roof terrace via double doors from each of the three king-sized bedrooms, affords guests peace and privacy.
The large, aqua-tiled pool is secured by a child-proof fence, and the peace of mind this provides has been regularly cited by guests as a major contributor to their relaxing holiday experience. There is plenty of room around the villa for children to play safely outdoors.
To meet your every need, within just a few minutes’ walk there is a wine and beach goods shop, an Aldi, a chemist and a beautician/ hairdresser and even a dentist.
Local amenities include amusement parks, water parks, the Algarve Shopping Centre and the beautiful and bustling Albufeira Old Town. Slightly further afield is the marina at Vilamoura and the ancient fortress at Silves.
The area boasts several beaches of varying size and tranquillity. Gale Beach, recognised as one of the best in the area, offers golden sand, calm water for swimming, (with magnificent waves on windy days) and its bars and restaurants provide a stunning location for a lazy lunch or to watch breathtaking sunsets. Whilst some of our guests regularly walk to it, many prefer a five-minute car or uber trip and in summer there is a regular shuttle bus stopping just across the road from the villa.
For a special occasion, Vila Joya, a food and wine connoisseur’s dream, and the first restaurant in Portugal to be awarded two Michelin stars, is only a few kilometres by car. The Portuguese-run Sao Domingos restaurant in the village provides a more affordable and equally delicious alternative.

A Perfect Escape
By Steph on 27-Jun-2026We first stayed at Casa Caçador in 2011 and visited for the sixth time this month. We have always enjoyed our holidays there and the owners are extremely helpful and responsive. The villa is located in a quiet rural area but close enough to shops and restaurants. The villa is spacious and can accommodate two families comfortably. The villa is extremely well equipped, particularly the kitchen. The pool is fabulous and a great size too, plenty of room for several people and inflatables. The children enjoyed it when they were little and still enjoy it as adults. Comfortable beds ensure a good night’s sleep. Beautiful gardens surround the villa and are lovely to relax in. We always hire a car as we like to explore but you could manage without one as there is an Aldi a few minutes walk away which has a fresh bakery. There are several restaurants within walking distance too. We highly recommend Casa Caçador for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We look forward to returning again.
Beautiful Villa Highly Recommend

The villa is beautiful very well appointed and equipped making our stay delightful. Well looked after with everything you could want on holiday. The outside atea is extensive and the large pool is beautiful and kept exceptionally clean plenty space to swim and have fun. Plenty of sunbeds and outdoor BBQ. I would highly recommend a stay here
