This house is fantastic
By Linda on 18-Jul-2026This house and its surroundings are fantastic! The view from the veranda unbeatable. It is close to smaller towns and close enough to the beach. Tim and Sharon are great house owners and the few time we needed help, they came right away. I really, really recommend renting this house.

By Peter on 09-May-2026Mocht je overwegen naar de Algarve af te reizen twijfel dan niet. Boek gewoon dit huis. Wij waren met 4 volwassen stellen. Heerlijk ruim huis met 4 badkamers. Genoeg stoelen buiten en binnen voor 8 personen. Prachtig verwarmd zwembad. Hoog plafond in de woon/eetkamer. Vlakbij het dorp Moncharapocho waar een grote Intermarche zit ideaal, lekker bakkertje, goede restaurantjes, benzinestation. UItvalbasis voor tal van leuke dorpjes in de buurt. Nooit lange autoritten, goede wegen met weinig bochten. Stranden dichtbij, super leuk. Deze regio rechts van Faro is rustiger niet zo toeristisch. En natuurlijk als kers op de taart de eigenaars. Ze wonen vlakbij en zijn direct ter plekke mocht er iets zijn. Ook geven ze tal van tips om het je naar de zin te hebben in de omgeving. Komen zeker terug.

The communication with Sharon and Tim from first enquiry to the end of our stay was superb. The information about the property, restaurants, places to visit that they provide is first class. They are really kind and warm-hearted people for whom nothing is too much trouble. The villa is immaculate and spacious with beautifully kept gardens. The kitchen is well equipped and there are great areas inside and out to relax in. The pool is wonderful; our grandchildren loved it. Being solar heated, the water temperature, even in April when we stayed, was between 28°C and 30°C. Sheer luxury. The location is terrific. It is so private with secluded grounds and distant seaviews. We loved hearing so much bird song and twice had beuatiful hoopoes in the garden. It is such a relaxing and tranquil place to stay. The local supermarkets are good but if you want a really big one, try the Continente in Tavira (Incidentally, one of our children is coeliac and another is vegan; it was easy to find food catering for their diets in the supermarkets). Parking in the roads near to it is also really good for walking into Tavira town.. If you like fish then I would recommend a visit to Olhao fish market, a short drive away, it's big and the fish is so fresh. The fish restaurant recommended by Tim and Sharon in Fuseta is amazing, we went there three times during our stay. Huge portions and delicious fresh caught fish. Don't miss it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much so that we re-booked it for next year before we left. There is no better recommendation!
Winter Rental
By Scott on 01-Dec-2025We stayed in this lovely villa for 4 weeks oct/Nov. A party of 4 adults it is so comfortable and spacious 4 bedrooms all en-suite so no queuing for showers. A car is must as it's a little bit out of town for shopping and restaurants I did walk into the village through lovely lanes and part of the old roman road. Beautiful modern kitchen and dining area equipped with everything needed for preparing meals. But the best part of this lovely villa is sitting on the deck overlooking the pool feeling the morning sun on your body and having your first cup of coffee. Great quality wood burning stove in the lounge plus free logs for the darker winter evenings. The area is so peaceful no traffic noise only bird song the rock formation in the garden area is fascinating worn away by millions of years of erosion. Restaurants around there so many all great value but our favourite is Antonio's it never disappoints also Anna's in the square is very good. One suggestion from the ladies not a criticism maybe a hand rail for entering and exiting the pool for us golden oldies. So thanks again Sharon and Tim for having us and very much hope to return.
