Description
A fully licensed, 2-bedroom penthouse apartment located in the unspoilt fishing village of Cabanas, close to Tavira in the Eastern Algarve. The apartment is within a secure complex, finished and furnished to a high standard. Close to a good selection of bars and restaurants, marina and the picturesque waterfront.On arrival at the accommodation all customers will have a friendly 'meet and greet' this will enable guests to be shown around the apartment and ask any relevant questions regarding the accommodation. There is a security video entry phone. Air conditioning also works as a heater during the cooler months. Apartment is fitted throughout with electric window shutters. Towels and linen are included in the cost. Towels are not to be used as beach towels.
Outside the apartment has two terraces. The lower terrace has a large tiled table with six chairs, suitable for Al fresco dining. There is a brick built BBQ great for those long hot summer nights. Additionally there is a further dining suite located outside the master bedroom. The upper terrace which has sea views, facilitates a table and chairs along with sun loungers and is illuminated at night by discreet solar powered lights.
Located within the Quinta da gomeira complex are 4 communal pools which are accessed by a swipe card and are not for public use.
Cabanas beach, which is rated as one of the best beaches in the Algarve, is a 2 minute water taxi ride, costing € 1.50 return. Cabanas is ideally located to explore the Algarve and is only a 20 minute drive to Spain. For those without a car, there are regular bus and train services which run along the length of the Algarve. The nearest golf course Benamor is located 1KM away.
Guests are kindly reminded that the arrival time at the apartment is not before 3pm and departure time is no later than 11am.

Wonderful apartment
By Steve Smith on 18-Aug-2026From the outset there was excellent communication from Martin, the owner of the apartment. On arrival we were met by the couple who manage the apartment, who were polite, professional and knowledgeable, answering any questions that we had regarding the apartment and Cabanas. The apartment itself was impeccably clean, nicely furnished throughout and had masses of outdoor space over two levels, with ample seating, Sun beds and distant sea views. Located on the top patio is a professionally installed sail shade which affords protection from heat of the summer sun, but due to design can facilitate sunbathing should one desire. The apartment is located in an excellent position, being only a two minute walk to the nearest bar and bakery and a maximum of five minutes walk to the waters edge and boardwalk, where there are numerous eateries and cafes. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and can wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this exceptional apartment.
Perfect place
By Kris Carr on 26-Jul-2026We loved everything about this place. It was packed with everything we could have needed for a weeks stay. We visit cabanas alot and this is possibly the best place we have stayed and alot of great memories were made here! Access to 4 different pools was great to hop between for more sun / less people! Close access to local shops with an amazing bakery and the front promenade full of great shops and amazing resteraunts. We will definitely be looking to return here on our next trip.

The two terraces were the perfect touch and we spent lots of time out there. This is our second time to the area, and the location could not have been better. Beautiful apartment
By Julian and Jayne on 22-Jun-2024We loved this apartment. The accommodation is beautifully clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. The rooms are large and airy with air con in the bedrooms and lounge. The beds are very comfortable and the lounge area has large inviting seating. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you could wish for. The outside terraces are amazing. There is a huge dining area, a barbecue and and further seating area outside the bedroom. Up some stairs is an amazing roof terrace with loungers and table and chairs. It is fully covered with a sail so offers a shady place all day long. Outside is a share pool area. We highly recommend this apartment and found the owners so pleasant and helpful. There is a wonderful manual in the flat that has information on everything you could possibly want to know about the area - restaurants, bars, transport, shopping, doctors etc, etc. We found it a mine of very useful information. The apartment is very centrally situated in Cabanas and within very easy walking distance of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and the boat to the beach, whilst still being in a quiet neighbourhood. We will certainly be returning.
