Apartment in Cabanas de Tavira, Tavira, Eastern Algarve, Portugal - 10 Minutes Walk To Cabanas Front And A Few Minutes From Benamor Golf CourseA very spacious, well presented, second floor apartment with two private back balconies and an open front balcony. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and south facing balcony off.The second bedroom has two twin beds. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. Hairdryer supplied
There is a large lounge opening out onto a good sized balcony with sun from morning until sunset. The lounge has two large leather sofas and dining table and six chairs. There is a Smart TV and Free Wifi.
Fully fitted modern kitchen with a Breakfast bar , washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, iron, and ironing board. The bathroom has a bath with a shower, bidet etc. There is air conditioning in the lounge and both bedrooms and also panel wall heaters for the winter months. All linen and towels are provided including beach towels.
There are two pools within walking distance which can be used for a fee for part of the year and the boardwalk front of Cabanas is a 10-15 minute walk away, where water taxis are available at a very small cost for the 2-3 minute transfer to the beautiful unspoiled beach.
There is a good selection of restaurants and bars nearby, and a small supermarket 5 minutes walk away with everything you possibly need. The train station is a 5 minute walk away and there are regular trains to Tavira, Vila Real, and many more places. Taxis are very reasonably priced. Pedro's Taxis are local and very reliable.
There is not a lift so the property is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.

In the rooms, there were two pillows per person, which is important to me. Outdoor furniture for enjoying the view and having meals. Janet was always very friendly. We really enjoyed it.

By Joao on 12-Jul-2026Janet's house is in Conceição de Tavira, next to the church, in a new development with clean streets, well-kept gardens, friendly people and a peaceful environment. It is very close to a supermarket that has everything at regular prices and to a central café that serves as a meeting place for the local population. The nearest beach is Cabanas de Tavira, which has a very fast boat service. The Cabanas area is very lively, with lots of shops and restaurants. Janet's house is on the third floor with no elevator, but it's very easy to get up. The house is very clean and tidy, tastefully decorated, and with all possible amenities. There were cold beers waiting for us. It has new appliances and all the cooking utensils. The air conditioners were very useful for the hottest days. There is also a balcony that, in the late afternoon, is very pleasant because of the view it has and because it is in the shade. For all these reasons, we recommend Janet's house to everyone and hope to return.

Can’t recommend enough for anyone looking to have a few quiet days in the area. We will certainly be back again!
