QO is located in Lagos on the Western Algarve, Portugal. Regarded as one of the finest Quintas within the region the property could be best described as an eclectic mix of Portuguese elegance and ‘old school’ glam. Nestled in the hills of Calicas, overlooking the historical city centre and the Atlantic Ocean, QO offers the perfect secret escape for those that just want to kick back, relax and enjoy…Approached via a 300m tree lined gated driveway, upon arrival you are met by QO’s imposing yet classical lines. Designed by Mario Martins, one of Portugal’s most highly revered architects, the property embraces many original and traditional Portuguese features, whilst retaining a feel for modern living. The stunning 2.5 acre tropical gardens which circle QO are mature, well manicured and rather magical. Within the grounds sits a tennis and pickleball court court and four hole putting green. The main terrace space includes a large swimming pool, pool side bar with BBQ, pool table and table tennis table. There is also an enclosed play area for children with trampoline, play house and fairy garden.
On entering the property you are met with a grand staircase, patina designed wall and a swinging chandelier. The interior offers a sense of colour and playfulness which is further supported by the vibrant contemporary artwork throughout. QO is in itself a character that offers both a sense of uniqueness and a lifetime full of wonderful holiday memories.
The property provides complete privacy whilst being only 3 minutes from the golden sands of Meia Praia/Lagos City Centre - and only 45 minutes from Faro Airport.

It had everything we could have wished for, the outdoor space was incredible for 3 families with 6 boys, they especially loved the pool, the pool table and table tennis! All kitchens were so well equipped, and the outside bar and cooking area were so good we only went out for one meal! It’s possible to walk to the beach and beach bars and into Lagos, and easy to get a taxi back. We also booked a wine tasting night at the villa through TJ which was a great addition to the holiday. Thank you for a very special week, hopefully we can come back one day!

The villa was perfect for our family holiday, the outside space was excellent for us all, lots for the kids to do swimming, tennis, pool, golf, trampoline and lots of space for them. The outside kitchen and bar area as well as the large dining area was perfect. There was plenty of room inside too so we didn’t feel like we were all on top of each other. We had the best week staying at the villa and will definitely look to book again.

QO Summer Holiday Stay

From the unique interior design touches to the spacious grounds, including a huge in-ground pool and outdoor bar, every detail felt thoughtfully curated. The home struck the perfect balance between style and comfort — plenty of room for everyone to relax, gather, and enjoy each other’s company. The common areas were beautifully designed for both connection and privacy, and the outdoor space was a true highlight — ideal for morning coffee and pickleball, afternoon lounging, or evening conversations under the stars. Our host/owner TJ was attentive and responsive, making the entire experience seamless from start to finish. I highly recommend it.

TJ was such an incredible person to work with—friendly, responsive, and great at managing expectations so everything went smoothly from start to finish. He also connected us with the best florists, caterers, and shuttle drivers. Nuno the shuttle driver effortlessly transported our large group throughout the stay. Every detail was handled with such care that we truly got to relax and enjoy our wedding. Our guests also gave us the best feedback and are still talking about how magical it all was. Highly, highly recommend!
