Description
DescriptionModern, four-bedroom villa, all ensuite, with a fifth bedroom with 2+2 twin beds and private bathroom on the basement level, 5 bathrooms + ground floor toilet in total all with Aircon. Wi-Fi boosters throughout with good connection on all 3 levels of the house and garden.
There is a sizeable pool, full AC cooling and underfloor heating throughout house. Located within a quiet new development (with some villas still unfinished but no construction work happening) in the village of Portelas, in the village there is a local shop open 6 days a week and 3 bars / cafes that do traditional Portuguese food and bbq fish, prawns and meat with drinks at lunch and dinner times. The village is 2.5km and a five-minute drive from the beautiful town of Lagos and 7-10 minute drive from Mia Praia Beach with many others close by. Known as the jewel of the Algarve, Lagos has countless bars, restaurants, marina, beaches, old town, pointe de Piedade, etc. Multiple golf courses within a 10–20-minute drive of the villa, even more within 30 minutes.
Exterior:
Driveway, 2 car port, front garden, big side patio with fixed standing unit with sink and surface for BBQ, BBQ grill, 10 person tables, chairs and Umbrellas, L shaped private swimming pool, 11 meters by 7 meters, attractive garden and 6 sun loungers.
Interior.
Ground floor Living area: 2 huge windows above and beside the front door allowing for views of the mountain of Monchique from the wide L staircase and upstairs landing. Expansive open plan living area with well equipped kitchen. Dining area that seats 8 comfortably with space and chairs for 2 more, lounge area with 3 sofas and 55” smart TV, with apps for all your favorite streaming and local Portuguese cable tv option. Four large sliding doors spanning the entire downstairs give incredible light and pleasant ventilation / breezes through the house.

First floor:
Master Bedroom 2: Kingsize bed with walk in dressing area, double glass sliding doors give access to front balcony, single glass door gives access to rear wrap around balcony.

Twin Bedroom 4: Twin Beds with fitted wardrobes, double glass sliding doors give access to rear wrap around balcony.
Basement:
Garage area: Large open plan area used as games room and gymnasium, skylight window gives light from garden patio. Table football and table tennis at one end, at the other end is modern gym equipment and machines, cross trainer, bench, weights, resistance bands and yoga mat for good variation and all-round workout. Large garage door which, when opened, brings a breeze all the way through the basement and up the stairs. There is one mountain bike for cycling. It takes between 10-20 minutes to get to Lagos, beach equipment.
Twin Bedroom 5: Twin beds with two pull out additional beds beneath. Wardrobe unit with drawers, shelves and hanging rail. Note: This is a basement room without windows, potentially perfect for kids to sleep in and stays lovely and cool. Private bathroom adjacent to the entrance of the bedroom.
The villa is modern, spacious, airy and light, based on a new development in Potelas, a small village 2km from Lagos Marina and large Pingo Doce supermarket (5-7minutes by car) and 3km from Lagos Old Town Center (7-10 minutes by car).
Portelas has a local shop open Monday to Saturday and 3 cafes / bars that serve breakfast, Lunch and dinner, with beers and wines, traditional Portuguese BBQ with fish / meat / prawns and chips / rice / salad etc and also soups / set menus at a lower price than the restaurants in town, the foods pretty good and its local prices not tourist prices so we like it.
Check-in is at 4pm with check out at 10am, but we will try to accommodate flight times where possible. A damage deposit will be required of £500 which will be fully reimbursed within 1 week of your departure. Preferred change over day is Saturday during high season.
30% deposit of total rental value must be paid immediately to confirm the booking and reserve the villa, with the remaining balance paid no later than 45 days prior to arrival date.
A 70% refund of your deposit will be given if cancelation of your booking is made 45 days prior to your arrival date.
If booking is made with less than 45 days prior to arrival date, the full balance must be paid upfront in order to confirm and reserve, no refunds will be given once paid.

Fantastic family villa
By Fiona on 05-Sep-2026Just back after a beautiful 2 weeks with our daughter, son in law and baby granddaughter. Huge property! Great location. We ate a few times at the local village restaurant just a minute walk away. Ubers into Lagos marina or old town so cheap €5-€6 and only 5 mins drive. Supermarkets galore! Simon and Sam looked after us perfectly! They arranged to have baby cot, high chair and baby walker available on arrival and when the gas bbq stopped working we had a brand new one delivered on the same day!! Overall, a fantastic stay!
Incredible stay

The house was fully equipped, well beyond our basic needs. Plenty to entertain the family and all finished to a high standard. Our first experience of booking direct with the owners. It was seamless with great communication and flexibility. Sam, the agent came to greet us the day after we arrived and gave us all in local information. She was fab! Just had the best time! Amazing Villa, fab location
By Victoria Hallworth on 05-Aug-2026Fabulous Villa, lots of space indoors and out. Comfortable furniture, amazing beds. Lovely views from all balconies. The pool and outdoor eating areas were great and we spent many long evenings sat out. The villa is very well equipped and we wanted for nothing - beach chair and umbrellas left by previous guests that we could use. We had an issue one morning with the gate and this was sorted within the hour... excellent communication with owner and property manager. We enjoyed our stay, 5 stars, can't wait to return. Lagos 5 mins drive, we hired a car but on a few evening we booked Uber taxis - €6 to the centre of the resort. Praia de luz beach is amazing, lovely evenings in lagos, Zoomarine was brilliant as was slide and splash.

Lovely Spacious Villa
By Graham Hutton on 15-Jul-2026We were a group of 7 Adults and 2 Children and The Villa was great especially having a bathroom for each bedroom and such a large pool. We were very comfortable, felt we had plenty of space to relax and had everything we needed. The games room was great and Wifi was good. The villa was very clean on arrival and communication with Simon and Sam the management agent was very good before and during our stay. We were also very lucky to be able to get an early check in and late checkout. We ate out at the local Taberna twice. The location is great, not to far to drive to beaches and the Marina and a good choice of Supermarkets, Pingo, Intermarche, Lidl, Aldi and Continent. My daughter used the local bus a couple of times to get home from Lagos which she found easy. We would be very happy to stay here again.

The best week
By Laura on 29-Jul-2026We had such a lovely holiday together as a family of 8 adults, 1 toddler and 2 babies, spending time over in Portugal for our cousins wedding. The villa provided a perfect space for us, everyone had their own en-suite and comfortable beds with air con, and the living areas were very spacious and well equipped. The outside space was perfect with a good sized pool, grass for the children to play on and a bbq area which was great for the evenings. Simon was very friendly and replied promptly to any queries we had and it was lovely meeting Sam who sorted out our baby equipment and was on hand to help with anything whilst we were there. We walked to one of the local bars a couple of times where the staff were also really friendly, and drove to Lagos which was very easy to get to. We were all very sad to leave the villa and would highly recommend you book if you are considering!

Spacious Villa
By Naomi Lamb on 03-Jul-2026Huge villa! We were a group of 9 but the villa could sleep 12. Lots bathrooms, all clean and modern. Large well equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ. The kids had hours of fun playing in the large pool while we relaxed on the terrace. The little village was 5 mins drive from Lagos which offers everything you need for a great holiday. We eat twice in the village restaurant which serves traditional Portuguese food at great prices! Would definitely stay here again.
