Description
Villa Phoenix is set in a peaceful hamlet and enjoys extensive views across the surrounding protected hills and countryside of Penina. The mature, secluded and fenced gardens extend to 1½ acres and benefit from extensive landscaping. The gardens are complimented by a purpose built barbecue area. There are 2 lawns; one perfect for football, badminton or boules whilst the other for peace and quiet.The spectacular heated pool is a wonderful 16m by 8m, with a bubble jet spa having a waterfall overflow into the pool (lockable gates separate rear garden and pool from front garden).
Large lounge, dining room and terraces with satellite TV, WiFi and air-conditioning to complete your luxury holiday.
The villa has been furnished with much attention to detail with four themed bedrooms all including recently renovated en-suite bathrooms. Similar attention will be given to your holiday. Thus, should you so wish, the villa manager can provide evening meals, baby sitting, shopping and other assistance. Complete each day by falling asleep in one of the English sized beds having chosen your themed bedroom.
Villa Phoenix is less than an hours drive from Faro airport. A short transfer but sufficiently far to ensure a peaceful authentic holiday. Our check in times are no earlier than 4 pm and departure by 10 am to ensure that the villa can be properly cleaned and prepared for every guest. Needless to say, Villa Phoenix is strictly a non smoking villa and pets are, unfortunately, not allowed as some guests also need to give their allergies a holiday.
A deposit of 25% is required on booking and the remainder 2 months prior to arrival. Payment by bank transfer or credit card. Full terms and conditions can be found on our website. In light of C19, our terms have been relaxed. Please enquire for further details.

Lovely spacious fully air conditioned property with a great pool
By Bill on 26-Sep-2026Lovely spacious fully air conditioned property with a great pool. Mellissa is a lovely and friendly host. Extremely well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery etc. Some of the properties we have stayed at over the years use contract cleaners which usually means the kitchen gets cleared out of the everyday items like oil, salt, kitchen roll etc. but not this one. All thanks to Mellissa.When we arrived there was a food welcome pack in the fridge which was plentiful to the extent that we didn’t need to have stopped off at the supermarket en route. Highly recommend.

Two wonderful weeks
By Schafer on 01-Aug-2026We spent two wonderful weeks as a family of four at Villa Phoenix. Our two teenagers really enjoyed having their own rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Communication with Melissa and Clive, who live in the separate apartment on the property, was excellent. They take care of everything and are always available if any questions arise. The villa is very spacious, impeccably maintained, and clean. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped—there was more dinnerware there than we have at home! The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the saltwater pool, in particular, is fantastic! We would love to come back! We haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen zu viert in der Villa Phoenix verbracht. Unsere beiden Teenager haben es genossen, ihre eigenen Zimmer mit eigenem Bad zu haben. Die Kommunikation mit Melissa und Clive, die in der Einliegerwohnung leben, war super. Sie kümmern sich um alles und sind immer ansprechbar, wenn Fragen aufkommen. Die Villa ist sehr geräumig, super gepflegt und sauber. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es gab dort mehr Geschirr als bei uns zu Hause! Die Anlage ist liebevoll gestaltet und vor allem der Meerwasser-Pool ist traumhaft! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Utterly excellent
By Simon on 08-Aug-2026Superb villa and ideal for a small group or large family holiday. All bedrooms en-suite and every amenity is catered for at the villa. You will need a car but it's only 10-15 minutes by car or Uber from supermarkets, shops and all the quiet bars and restaurants of Alvor.

We had more than enough space for two families of 4. We found the bedrooms comfy and spacious and it was a bonus to have ensuites for each bedroom. Melissa and Clive were very helpful and clear about check-in / check-out arragenements. The kitchen had everything you need for picnics on the beach etc, (including tuppa-ware) as well as a fantastic BBQ area at the front of the house. Thank you so much- we would love to use the space again one day and will recommend to our firends and family.
