Set in an elevated position just off the N124 west of São Bartolomeu de Messines, Villa Susana enjoys breathtaking panoramic views across the Algarve countryside to the southern coastline, with glimpses of the sea at Armação de Pêra.Set in a peaceful and highly private location, this charming villa is the perfect retreat for families or friends seeking relaxation, comfort, and authentic Algarve charm. The property features three spacious bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms, beautifully maintained formal gardens, a private swimming pool, a rooftop sun terrace, and a superb outdoor dining area with barbecue – ideal for long, leisurely meals under the Portuguese sun.
Inside, guests will find a fully equipped kitchen complete with thoughtful essentials including herbs, spices, cooking oils, tea, coffee, sugar, and cleaning supplies. Dishwasher tablets are also provided for the duration of your stay, helping you settle in from the moment you arrive.
The villa offers comfortable accommodation for up to six guests across three well-appointed bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms feature king-size double beds and en-suite shower rooms, while the third is a twin room served by a family bathroom with bath, shower, toilet, and bidet. The twin room can also accommodate an additional camp bed, making it ideal for a child
The bright and airy open-plan living space is designed for relaxed holiday living, with a fully equipped kitchen flowing seamlessly into the dining and lounge areas. A breakfast bar creates a sociable setting where everyone can gather, whether preparing meals, dining together, or simply relaxing after a day exploring the Algarve.

*The villa's impressive 8m x 4m private swimming pool can be heated upon request, allowing guests to enjoy comfortable swimming throughout the year. Pool heating is available for an additional charge of €22 per day.
Please note that, due to the pool's generous size and depth (up to 2.5 metres), heating should be requested in advance of arrival to ensure the water reaches a comfortable temperature for your stay
Under Portuguese law, all guests staying at the property, including children and babies, must be registered with the Portuguese authorities (AIMA).
Prior to arrival, we will ask each guest to complete a simple registration form with the required details. We do not require copies of passports or other identification documents.

Lovely Traditional Villa
By Hayley on 04-Jul-2026Lovely traditional villa. It's very peaceful and with beautiful views. Extremely well equipped if you wanted to cook. All the UK TV channels if you want them. We only switched in on to watch the England games as most time was spent enjoying the outside area. Pool was a great temperature (31) and we didn't get it heated. Aircon in bedroom good. About 15 min drive to Silves, lots of lovely traditional restaurants in the surrounding area. Great comms from Alex. We loved it so much we booked for next year before we even left.

By Margaret on 10-May-2026We stayed at Villa Susana for seven nights after a fairly hectic couple of weeks exploring Malaga, Cadiz and Seville. It was a planned mini-break and it fulfilled our dreams of staying in the Algarve and relaxing in beautiful surroundings. This spectacular home is incredibly comfortable and has the best kitchen I have ever had the pleasure of cooking in. There is no hesitation at all in recommending Villa Susana for an unforgettable experience; out of the tourist crush but close enough to explore the coast and hinterland, should you wish to.
Perfect Holiday Home
By Angela on 26-Apr-2026Villa Susana was the perfect holiday home for us. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the magnificent view from the terrace. The furnishings are comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. We especially appreciated that the beds were fully made up (not just a blanket with a sheet). It was just as comfortable as sleeping at home . Many thanks also for the initial stocking of the refrigerator. After a long journey, we were very grateful for the groceries and the "Super Bock" beer . We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again soon.
