El Monte Bajo is one of Andalucia's most treasured and enchanting traditional style spanish finca (farmhouse) set one level with three (or four spacious bedrooms) all en suite. Properties like this are rare and much sought after..This is 'rustic luxury', perched on a hillside above Nerja (Malaga) in southern Spain with panoramic views of the coastline. It has high ceilings and whitewashed timbers, it's recently restored magnificent kitchen is the hub for family life. There a multiple sun patios and a tropical garden plus 'La Cabaña, a shaded poolside are with drinks cooler, streaming music facilities, a w/c and shower.

There are unbroken panoramic views of the coastline and Sierra Almijara mountains. The tropical garden, palm and fruit trees where organic olives, citrus, avocado, almonds, figs and mangos grow all around.
El Monte Bajo is south facing, 1km. from the nearest beach & 5 minutes drive from the quaint former fishing village of Nerja (province of Malaga). It is perfect for a group of 4 to 6 adults and children. ( As an option we can accommodate a group of up to 8 people with our extra independent suite). A truly wonderful experience

Stepping through the gate to reveal the garden and view to the sea & valley around Nerja was magical every time we returned. The home itself is tastefully arranged, well maintained with all the equipment you need to enjoy being on vacation. We were fortunate enough to have an extended stay and were thankful for the local folks that support Danny to keep the place immaculate. Don’t hesitate to reserve your time here, particularly if you prefer quality and serenity.
Definitely the best by far

A fantastic property in a perfect setting with beautiful views from the garden & pool area which is very private. Beautifully decorated and furnished, inside & out & spotlessly clean, it is a very special place. Great communication when booking with the owner, Danny, & we arrived to a freshly prepared salad and a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge. The housekeeping, garden & pool team do a brilliant job. We didn’t explore the area as much as we usually would because we were so comfortable in the villa. Thank you, a perfecto holiday!
Stunning with its rustic yet chic style
By Charles on 24-Mar-2024We (myself, daughter Anna and good friend Lauren) arrived after dark a week last Saturday and were immediately captivated by the illuminated gardens,the mountains beyond and the dark sea and lights of Nerja below.The villa itself is stunning with its rustic yet chic style. The following morning only entranced us more with blue skies and warm sunshine and with the gardens and views fully revealed.In addition the resident,and charming, black cat (whom we named "Jorge")cordially greeted us on the terrace,as he would every morning. The property was clean, beautiful, and thoughtfully prepared with all amenities catered for. We especially loved the charm of the place, along with its fantastic view and perfect location—it really made the experience special. A lovely touch was the arrival food, including a delicious tortilla, which we truly appreciated after travelling. The host was also very responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything, including quickly resolving an unforeseen hot water issue caused by a storm – without any hassle. We stayed as a large family to celebrate our mum’s 70th birthday, along with a 3-year-old child, and the property worked perfectly for all of us. It was comfortable, welcoming, and ideal for a family gathering. We would absolutely stay again—thank you for such a memorable experience!
