Situated on the edge of a long sloping valley inclined towards the south and looking out over the blue Mediterranean,. At the crown of the valley are the majestic peaks of the Sierra Almijara and Sierra Nevada mountains. The overall feeling is one of harmony, with green valleys, rugged mountains and white-washed moorish style villas located just above the Burriana Beach. This is the peaceful haven in which we have chosen to locate The Garden Apartment.

In one of the most sought after residential areas on the eastern side of Nerja, the apartment is just an easy 4 or 5 minute stroll to the Burriana Beach, Nerja's premier beach, where bars, restaurants and all the usual amenities and beach activities can be found in abundance. The Balcon de Europa, the centre of Nerja, is just a 15 minute stroll along a quiet residential thoroughfare or a 7 minute car ride.

**The tropical garden and professionally maintained pool are not shared - they are for the exclusive use of guests at The Garden Apartment.**

TV with digital satellite receiving UK BBC1, BBC 2, ITV, Channel 4 and 5 together with other specialised BBC channels. Most of these in HD. and a DVD player installed.

Air-conditioning in summer and efficient and comfortable heating during cooler winter months is provided by a modern remote controlled installation with powerful outlets in the salon/dining area and the bedroom .

Broadband Internet WIFI (P.A.Y.G.) throughout apartment.

The apartment is located in a quiet residential road where parking is free, unrestricted and usually in plentiful supply. Most guests manage to park immediately outside the gate or within a few metres of it.

If you choose not to rent a car, we can arrange for a Nerja taxi to collect you from Malaga Airport and take you back at the end of your stay. The driver would have the keys from us in advance and would take you directly there without the need to worry about collecting the keys on the way in. On the return, you would simply hand the keys to the driver and he would deliver them back to us. The regulated fare is currently 69 Euros per trip, payable directly to the driver, which is less than the Malaga taxis charge from the airport rank.

Our check-in time is approximately 1:30 PM and check-out is 10:30 AM to provide time to our maids to prepare the apartment for the next guests' arrival, usually the same day. If you have a late flight, there is usually somewhere we can suggest to store your luggage on that last day if we have new guests arriving. If we don't, then, you are welcome to stay as long as you need on the last day.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: When you arrive The Garden Apartment will be freshly cleaned and serviced with the beds made and a supply of freshly laundered towels will be provided. For stays of more than one week extra freshly laundered linens and towels will be supplied.

Small children should be supervised, particularly when using the steps and the pool. Trip and fall hazards can be encountered in a new enviroment.
In consideration of non-smoking guests we ask guests not to smoke inside the apartment. But smoking guests may smoke on the terraces or in the garden.

From booking the apartment from the beginning through the owner Nick he was so helpful. The apartment itself is stunning ,beautiful terraces, and gardens. The pool was the added bonus. Walking distance of Nerja centre and the wonderful restaurant 34 that the owner Nick had recommended to us. Landed up going 3 nights. Also worth a visit are the caves of Nerja .Also visited Competa, Frigiliana and Malaga. But the best bit about the holiday was opening the curtains in the morning and seeing the view to the sea just beautiful! Thank you Nick.

We had as usual a wonderful stay at Garden Apartment, we had a fantastic meal at 34 and was able to use the voucher.

There was another restaurant that went out of there way to make a good experience ( Calypso 51) on the way down to the beach on the right hand side, very attentive, friendly food was very good and they gave us a tapas taster with our drinks and with the bill we had a free shot, lovely young couple

Anyway many thanks for all your help and the opportunity to stay at the Garden Apartment, will be coming again

My husband and I spent ten days at The Garden Apartment this July and had a fantastic time...just loved it! The apartment has all you could need for a self catering holiday plus a fab pool all to yourself, beautiful garden and a very spacious terrace on both sides with lovely views. For us it was perfectly located being a short walk to the local supermarket, Burrianna Beach and Nerja town centre. Leisurely breakfast on the terrace each morning looking down towards the beach was so relaxing. We also enjoyed having a barbecue on a few evenings...other nights we would sit with a nice glass of chilled wine before heading into Nerja centre to visit some of the fab bars and restaurants the town has to offer...Nerja is beautiful. We had a wonderful holiday and found the apartment much more relaxing than staying in a hotel...we will definitely choose here again on our next visit to Nerja. Oh, think it's also worth mentioning that we booked our taxi driver (who also passes you the keys to the apartment) through the owner and the service was perfect...would recommend.

This was our second stay at the Garden Apartment and we enjoyed it even more than the first. The apartment offers privacy, is bright, clean and very well equipped. The garden is delightful and having the use of the lovely pool is icing on the cake. It is within easy walking distance to Burriana beach, the centre of Nerja and is close to large supermarkets. The apartment's location is also suitable for accessing interesting walks in the area such as the 'Rio Chillar'. The English owner is very helpful and friendly and pleased to suggest places of interest. The availability on the Inter-Sol website is always up to date and enquiries are answered promptly. We are definitely returning.

This apartment feels secluded and calm, even though it is only a short walk from Burrianna beach. Ideal for a middle aged couple, like ourselves. I loved the private pool and the view towards the sea in the distance. Booking a taxi through the owner was very well organised.

Stayed at the Garden Apartment for a lazy week away from the rat race. The peace and tranquility were the first things I noticed along with the cool deep pool. The apartments location is close enough to Burriana Beach to make it accessible on foot but remote enough to remove you from the world at large.

I wont recommend restaurants etc as this is subjective except 34 which the owner thoughtfully provided a discount voucher (which I thoughtfully forgot) All in all a fabulous week and one I shall definately be revisiting..Thanks to all involved in getting us there which was completely hassle free.

We have stayed in the Garden Apartment for two consecutive years and definitely will be returning.

From booking to departure the helpfulness of Nick was outstanding. Eating breakfast on the terrace in the early morning sun, relaxing in the private pool and beautiful views to the sea just make a fantastic holiday. A short walk to the beach, and close to the typically Spanish town of Nerja to people watch and have a drink just makes it perfect in every way.

Its a quiet , quaint and addictive area of Spain that we have fallen in love with.

I recommend this Garden Apartment if you are looking for a sunny getaway with peace and quiet yet just enough bars and restaurants to have a typical Spanish evening
