A beautiful apartment recently renovated to a very high standard located at the end of Calle Carabeo, one of Nerja’s prettiest streets. The street retains much of its old Andalucian charm and is the most sought after address in Nerja.

The Balcon de Europa and the restaurant filled streets of the town centre are a pleasant 4 minute stroll away as are the Callahonda and Salon Beaches, while the Carabeo beach is 1 minute. On the ground floor of a well-maintained complex of just 18 units secured by railing and electric gates, the apartment opens onto an enclosed garden. Frontline to the sea, the building benefits from stunning sea and mountain views from the large roof terrace with sun loungers/table/chairs.

The pool overlooks Burriana beach. Accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms – double and twin, both with ample storage. There is a fully fitted modern kitchen with a dining area off it. The bright living area has been tastefully decorated and the internet TV offers over 190 channels in a choice of languages, including UK; Irish; German; French and Spanish TV Channels. There is also a DVD player and a selection of DVDs.

The apartment offers free WIFI to our guests.

The main bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and overhead shelving unit. Second bedroom has 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers. All bed linen and towels are provided. Additional bed linen and towels are supplied for guests staying 2 or more weeks. Mid-holiday cleans can be arranged on request. There are 2 adult and 2 child beach towels in the apartment for your use.

Both bedrooms are fitted with dual purpose Air Conditioning Units, to heat or cool the room. Free standing fans and portable radiators are provided for additional cooling or heating as required. There is a safe in the apartment.

The fully fitted modern kitchen is equipped with all amenities including cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and washing machine. A separate dining area comprises table and 4 chairs.

Bright and airy, the living area is west facing and looks out onto enclosed garden. Includes 2 comfortable 2-seater sofas, Internet TV with 190 channels and a DVD player. Selection of DVDs and games for your use.

It is a child friendly apartment. A baby cot and high chair can be hired on request. There is a baby bath; a bed protector for the side of the bed and a child step in the apartment as well as a collection of toys/DVDs, books and beach toys suitable for toddlers and young children.

Centrally located, the apartment is a 2-10 minutes walk to most amenities and can cater for guests with some mobility concerns. On the ground floor, it has two access points - the main front door and the sliding door leading directly out to the enclosed garden. There is only a short flight of steps to gain access to the building or five steps to the side garden. The pool is at the main entrance. It is only 15 seconds and one step up/one step down away from the apartment door. There are no steps in the apartment and shower access is at ground level.

Private and secure, the west facing terrace of the apartment provides access to the enclosed garden and is complete with small round table and 2 chairs.

The recently retiled and extremely well maintained shared pool has lovely views of Burriana Beach. Equally well maintained, the facade of the building is in the Spanish Colonial style and is one of the most distinctive and iconic in Nerja. It is complimented by flowers, potted plants and a feeling of tranquillity. The large roof terrace with stunning sea views is ideal for sunbathing and al fresco dining with its communal sun beds and outdoor furniture. It also has the communal clothes line.

Everything you need for a great holiday!

We stayed at the Carabeo Apartment for 2 weeks in July, it was just perfect for a great holiday in Nerja. The apartment itself has everything you need to make your holiday comfortable, it has modern kitchen facilities and washing machine, which was handy for a 2 week stay. The Air Con is good and needed in July. It has a modern bathroom, with shower. It is a few steps from the pool, which isn't huge but perfectly adequate and a lovely temperature, which is highly unusual. The main asset to this apartment is it's location, it couldn't be more perfect, if you love the Beach, it is just across the road, the main area of shops and restaurants are a stroll away and if you want a walk over to Burianna Beach and Beach bars, that is just a 10 min walk the opposite direction. You couldn't not enjoy this Apartment in the lovely Nerja. We are definitely going back.

Our first visit to Nerja

We stayed at this apartment for the first two weeks in July 2019. The whole holiday experience was exceptional. The apartment was clean, cosy and well equipped. It is located on the ground floor and near to the small private pool. There are 3 lovely beaches within minutes of the apartment all accessible by steps. The apartment is conveniently located to all the amenities offered in beautiful Nerja. A real "gem in the sun." Buses run daily from Nerja to other towns and cities in Andalusia and we were lucky enough to visit Malaga, Rhonda and Granada. We were so impressed that we have already booked the apartment for June 2020. A big thank you to Rebecca & David. Nothing was too much trouble and all arrangements with them went smoothly.

Nice place in a great location

This apartment is very well located just down the street from the Balcon de Europa, close to lots of shopping, strolling, restaurants, etc. It also has easy access to the beach just across the street and a very short walk. Well equipped . There is a small grocery also just on the same street with the basics for a short stay. The wifi worked great, and we appreciated the washing machine. There are clotheslines for drying on top of the building! There is not really any view from the apartment if that is what you are looking for, but for us this was no problem as we were out and about all the time anyway. It was nice to have a safe and quiet place to return to.

Beautiful apartment in Nerja

We stayed here for 5 days in David and Rebecca’s beautiful apartment. Our son and daughter in law were with us and we all had s wonderful holiday. The apartment was very well maintained and everything you could possibly need was there for us. The pool was great as well as the rooftop balcony for sunbathing. We were a 2 minute walk from the beach and Balcony de Europa Square- Nerja is a stunning Village with lots to do, pretty scenery and great shopping!! We would definitely recommend this gorgeous apartment, and we hope to return again soon. The booking process was made very easy by the owners - thank you, David and Rebecca!!

Thoroughly recommended - exactly as advertised

I took my daughter post GCSE exams for some chill time in the sun.

Apartment very clean & comfortable. David & Rebecca faultless on responding to e-mail questions. Key pick up smooth and instructions clear.

Communal pool often to ourselves albeit early July. Great location as all amenities were on the doorstep (we didn't arrive till 11.00pm and found a friendly local cafe/restaurant to replenish us and unwind before bed) Beach and town within a few minutes walk yet quiet location.

Fantastic value for money - would love to go back for longer!

Fabulous stay!

The apartment is immaculately clean, and has is equiped with everything that you need to enjoy your holiday. The central location is perfect for the whole family to enjoy - a three minute walk to either town centre shops / restaurants or the beach, and there are lots of cafes and restarants within one to two minutes walk!

The furnishings and appliances are high quality, and the modern decor has a stylish feel.

Communication with the owners is excellent, and they really go out of their way to make your experience very smooth.

We would recommend this apartment!

Great Apartment Great location

We stayed at David & Rebecca’s Apartment over the October half term. From the beginning of the booking everything went like clockwork. Great communications from booking down to ordering taxis. The apartment is situated minutes from the Balcon & even closer to Burriana beach. Close by are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops & bars.

The modern apartment is fully equipped with everything you could want. Lovely bathroom & kitchen. Spacious bedrooms. UK tv a bonus for our 6 year old 1st thing of a morning.

We loved the apartment & the area it’s locsted and will hopefully return this October if not before.

Massive thanks to Rebbeca & David for the smooth booking of everything.

Very well located

The moment we saw it we knew it was for us. Compact clean and a cosy feel to it. Great location for everything shops beaches and bars also walking. English TV was an added bonus. It was quiet and comfy. Loved it so much back in April. Owners are exceptional to deal with.

Perfectly situated apartment for beach and town

We arrived on a Sunday evening having been collected from the airport in a pre arranged taxi by the owner which was perfect as the driver had our keys to give us so there was no need to stop off anywhere else to collect them.

The apartment is perfectly situated at the end of the most picturesque street in Nerja, Calle Herandez Carrabeo, and it is equidistant for both the beaches and the old town.

The apartment had everything we could need on a holiday and was very clean and well maintained.

I would definitely recommend this property for anyone staying in Nerja and would certainly hope to visit again myself in the future.

wonderful place to stay

We booked the apartment for one week. The booking process was easy and the friendly owner was very helpful during the booking and payment process.

The apartment is very cosy and clean, everything works and we never missed anything for our daily routine. Even two parasols for the beach are available.

The apartment is part of a beautiful house which also has a swimming pool and a roof terrace. The house is located very near to the beaches of nerja and also very close to the shopping area.

We enjoyed every minute in and outside of the apartment and want to highly recommend it to others!

Lovely apartment in a great location

The apartment was very clean and very well maintained in a terrific location. Lots of very good restaurants some as cheap as chips others a little more upmarket and still very good value for money. I visited the local hairdressers every Friday as we were staying for 7 weeks, the ladies in the hair salon were very pleasant and spoke very good English. The management company who were looking after the apartment were excellent, dealing very promptly with any request you may have had. It was like living the dream in the winter months.I love everything about Nerja.

This Appartment is located in a beautiful part of Nerja!! The Appartment is equipped with all the mod cons that you need for your time in the sun! The owners are truly delightful to deal with. It is centrally located to some fabulous restaurants. The beach is a mere 10-15 min stroll. It is very quiet at night so there are no problems getting a good nights sleep. I highly recommend this Appartment.

Lovely apartment

We stayed in this apartment with our 2 teenage daughters. It is perfectly located, being very close to the beaches, restaurants and shops, but is tucked out of the way on a quiet street.

The apartment is modern, very clean and comfortable with air conditioning in each bedroom-which is a must at this time of year. The girls enjoyed access to wifi! It provided all the extras you would need for self catering. A taxi was organised for us from and to the airport by the owners of the apartment, which made things much easier.

The small pool is adequate as an alternative to the beach, and is extremely clean and quiet.

There is a little supermarket just around the corner, for immediate supplies, and if you want a very special meal-Bakus restaurant-is the place go, just across the road.There is a huge choice of restaurants so suit all occasions.

Nerja is the most wonderful, pretty place to discover. This apartment serves as the perfect base to explore.

A really lovely apartment

My wife and I + 2 kids stayed here in mid June 2014. We were in Nerja to attend a family wedding. This apartment is perfectly located near the centre of the town, within walking distance of EVERYWHERE! Beach 5 mins walk, "Balcon" 5 mins, shops, restaurants, tapas bars all very convenient. The apartment is so comfortable and quiet. Private secure entrance. My daughter loved the convenience of the pool. The grassed area in front of balcony was so quiet and peaceful - perfect for sunbathing. Inside the apartment all facilities and utilities were in perfect order, and the place was so clean. There are a number of restaurants and bars on the street (approx 200 metres towards Balcon). These were so conveniently near, and ideal for breakfast , lunch or dinner. There is also an Irish Bar quite near, that had live music performances (some nights) and showed live GAA matches on Saturday and Sunday evenings. Overall, very impressed and happy with our accomodation - this is a great place to stay in Nerja

This was the 2nd time we stayed in this apartment,but it wont be the last!!

We fell in love with Nerja instantly when we went for a family wedding in 2012, so when we decided to go back for a holiday, staying here was a no-brainer.

We really enjoyed staying here the first time be it for the stunning views from the rooftop terrace, or the fact that the swimming pool is only steps from the door, or that you can enjoy eating breakfast on your little porch overlooking the garden and flowers,but this time was even better!!

Everything was made easy from the moment our holiday was booked..as we were in direct contact with the owner from the previous time,she practically arranged everything for us- taxis to and from the airport, a travel cot for our baby and even arranged a late check out time to suit our flight home which we didn't even request.

The apartment itself is like a home away from home, anything that u could possibly want or need on holiday was at hand..it has a cozy living area wit two couches, table and chairs, tv, dvd player, vcr and the kitchen has a fridge,microwave,toaster,kettle,w.m, oven and hob if u fancy staying in and taking advantage of sitting out on the porch with a nice cooked meal..not that Nerja doesn't have some unbelievably delicious restaurants to sample..Little Italy to name our favourite!

There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom and the bathroom has a shower but its all the little finishing touches that are probably over looked that we found contributed to us relaxing on our holiday..being it the bathroom drawer being stocked with bits and bobs like shampoo,deodrant,after sun etc, the wardrobes being filled with extra pillows,blankets, iron board and iron,hairdryer and also a safe, fresh towels in the bathroom and sunbathing towels in the bedroom drawer..all the things u would have to go out and buy or bring with you are already there for you!!

There is a small supermarket right around the corner also.

Nerja itself is absolutely beautiful and really has to be seen for yourself to thoroughly believe. When you walk out of your apartment you have mountains on your left and the walk down to the Balcon de Europa on your right..whichever way you turn you will not be disappointed. The little street your on is so pretty and in the little breaks of all the charming spanish style houses and restaurants on the way to the balcon, the sea and many of the rocky caverns that line the shores of Nerja are your backdrop.

Perfect pad

This apartment is perfectly located in Nerja, near lovely beaches, the Balcon de Europa and some pretty winding streets and their many friendly bars. It is also a very safe and secure place to stay, very clean and well equipped. Actually, you need search for nothing more. It is also great value for money, particularly if you are a party of 4.

The owners were very efficient with everything before and after our stay and really helpful and kind with the advice they emailed about the things we were interested in trying in the area. We had a fabulous time and sampled many of the local attractions as well as venturing further afield in our hire car to see something of the wider area.

Nerja is full of character and quite refreshingly different from some of the other resorts closer to Malaga. It has a real Spanish feel, and is full of families and good service. Nearby Frigliana is also absolutely beautiful - a white village perched on the hillside with lots of lovely walks and wilderness around it. Other things not to miss are the Nerja caves, the Alhambra in Granada, El Canuelo beach some 20-30 mins drive away, where you will feel you have stepped back in time to open spaces, very few people and a hint of the the 60s 'live and let live' atmosphere.

A car is not needed at all if you want to stay in Nerja for the duration of your stay but if you hire a car it is worth buying the week long pass to the car park near the apartment as this takes all the stress out of searching for an on-street space and finding change for a meter. It cost approx €60 for the week with unlimited entry.

A final fun recommendation in Nerja is the 'El burrito blanco' bar where we saw the most fabulous flamenco with live band - truly mesmerising.

In summary, cannot fault this apartment or the kindness and consideration of the owners. It has everything you could wish for, at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it, without hesitation or reservation. Thank you!

February getaway

This apartment is ideally located close to the beaches and the town centre. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within a two or 3 minute walk, but with so much choice part of the fun is exploring the many areas and finding your favourites. The apartment was immaculate and had good facilities. The owners were very prompt and helpful in response to all our queries from the initial enquiry and right through our stay. A further plus is the fact that the apartment is in the centre of the block away from the streets and walkways, so far less noise here than those at the ends of the block. We recommend the apartment. Excellent value for money.

We visited Nerja in September 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was exceptionally clean, comfortably furnished and extremely well equipped. Ideal location - the beach, restaurants, bars and shops are all in very close proximity. Owners were very helpful and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Nerja is a beautiful resort and we had a wonderful stay in a wonderful apartment. Would highly recommend it to others and am looking forward to staying here again in the near future

Lovely Apartment & fantastic Location

We have had 2 lovely holidays in this apartment. Plenty of room for our family of 5. The apartment was lovely and clean with everything we needed for our holiday including beach towels and beach toys, parasol etc. We felt very at home here. A lovely pool for the kids to play in with a view of the sea. The owners were great and kept in contact throughout to ensure our stay was enjoyable. :o)

We love Nerja and this apartment is in a fantastic location with a quiet cafe next door, a mini supermarket and lots of restaurants just 5 minutes walk. Practically on the doorstep of the Burriana Beach which we walked to every day. Nerja town is just a short walk too with a multitude of shops, restaurants, bars and Ice Cream parlours. Its so close, that we walked there every evening and some afternoons with our 3 young children. The area is very picturesque and so welcoming. We will be returning again this year and we can't wait! Definitely worth 5 stars.

Carabeo Apartment

We stayed in this apartment for a week in October 2013. We were delighted with all the facilities provided, it was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. If you had children the area to sit outside is quite small but there is a very safe garden which can be accessed directly from the apartment. Its greatest advantage is its location at the end of the lovely Calle Carabeo just a few minutes walk to the Balcon and perfectly placed for many restaurants and bars including restaurant Bakus just beside the apartment, the nearest shop is a minute away just outside the back gate. We would have no hesitation in renting this apartment again and would recommend it to others. It was also a pleasure to deal with Rebecca and David.

Fabulous apartment

We have been to this apartment 2 years running, the beach is just down some steps about 2 mins from the apartment, it is a short 5 minute walk to the Balcon De Europa and the busy restaurants and bars. The apartment is modern and clean, it has everything you need. TV with English channels, 2 good size bedrooms, lovely powerful shower. Ground floor too which is great, small swimming pool which my daughter and her dad enjoyed. I would highly recommend it, the owners are lovely too, nothing is too much trouble.
