Amazing

By Patricia K on 09-Oct-2018

The villa was spacious, modern, comfortable and had everything you could wish for. The beds were comfortable, so no problems sleeping! If you wanted the TV then it had every channel you could think of, but as the weather was so good we didn't use it. The space was quite something too, downstairs there were comfy sofas for watching the TV or just chilling out, a pool table that we made the most of and another seating area! The photo's do not do this villa justice. The outside space was also great, lovely seating for breakfast/lunch and around the pool we were spoilt for choice. The heated pool was an absolute dream as was the hot tub, too many times my husband got out and was all wrinkly! We were supposed to be a party of 4 but it ended up just me and my husband, bliss! Was it too much space for two people? Probably but we loved every minute there and will certainly be returning. Saying that, an excellent place for a larger party, still plenty of room. We were about a 35 minute walk from the Playa Blance and the restaurants but it was no hardship walking every night and getting a taxi back, cost 6 Euros including a tip. The urbanisation where the villa is was quite deserted but very quiet which is what we liked. We did have some neighbours but like us, kept the noise to a minimum so no problems there. There is a small Spar shop in the hotel 5 minutes up the road where we walked every morning to get a paper and fresh bread, however we went to the main supermarket in Playa Blanca for a big shop for the week and got a taxi back which was easy enough. The welcome pack in the villa was much appreciated on arrival as we could have a cup of tea! On arrival we were met by Daniel, the Manager who was very helpful and any questions during our stay were answered and dealt with very quickly. One small tip if you get a taxi home, open the big gate so they can turn around easily, the drivers appreciate this. I left a new pair of flip flops in a taxi one night and a couple of minutes later, the driver came back with them. Little things can mean a lot. Finally, would I recommend? Definitely. Will I be going back? Without question! PS: The artwork is great too! Thank you Sue.

Superb villa!

By Sharon B. Bolton, United Kingdom on 11-Sep-2018

Booking and communication with Sue the owner was quick and easy. Met by the very welcoming Gerry (management team) who showed us around the villa and gave us lots of info on places to eat and visit. Gerry even gave us a lift into town and a tour around the area.Lovely man who can't do enough for you, thanks Gerry! I've stayed in many villas over the years and this one tops the lot... Absolutely spotless! Very spacious inside and out with fantastic views of the sea and Fuerteventura, top spec furnishings and appliances, kitchen has everything you need and included a very generous welcome pack to start us off. The beds are very comfortable with good quality pillows and linen, modern bathrooms with powerful showers and plenty towels provided. Tv has tons of channels and wifi is good. Outside seating and terrace area is really nice with tropical plants and lighting.BBQ was great and used several times Pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. We didn't hire a car this time but recommend one to see more of the island. Its 20 mins to walk to town or just ring for a taxi and they're at the villa in a few minutes. Thanks Sue for sharing your beautiful home with us we had a great time and will be back.

Fantastic Villa- sheer bliss

By Lindoro2014 Manchester, United Kingdom on 10-Apr-2018

From the minute I booked the Villa with Sue the whole experience was first class . We were met at the Villa by Gerry who showed us how to operate everything we needed during our stay, a small welcome pack was a lovely touch left in the kitchen. We were a party of 6 adults and one 11 month old baby the Villa could not have been more suited for us. My son and his wife and their daughter had the downstairs bedroom and my granddaughter had the full length of the downstairs area to crawl around quite safely, myself my husband my other son and his partner had the upstairs bedrooms all had plenty of space and privacy for the entire family, the master bedroom (mine) was lovely so nice to walk out in a morning and just relax in the sunshine. The heated pool and hot tub were brilliant enjoyed by a5ll and the toys etc that are in the villa and by the pool were enjoyed by my granddaughter. The hot tub was lovely for some adult time and again enjoyed by all. The Villa is in an excellent location 5 euros in a taxi to the Marina where you will find some lovely restaurants. We didn't walk into town but from this area we know it is about a 20mins walk . The villa has fantastic Canarian bbq and we made full use it with some enjoyable evenings, the kitchen has everything you need to make meals in if you so desire and their are takeaway leaflets in the villa. Would I return - 100% I cant wait to do so and I wish I could keep it my secret so that I will always be able to get in ..its an amazing Villa you wont be disappointed if you book it.

A home from home in the Sun.

By Gerry G on 23-Feb-2018

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our holiday . The villa is great and more than lived up to our expectations. Highlights for us were the pool which was just at the right temp particularly after the first few days. Of course the Hot Tub was a big hit with everyone and the pool table at night was just great ( we did our own pool league for the week) The check in with Daniel was really good and very professional Despite our being tired and hungry after a long trip we were impressed with his presentation (despite a wayward granny trying to jump ahead of him) He took us through the villa and really impressed on us the need for practical items like covering the pool and hot tub and how to use things. Previously we have turned up to a key safe and a set of instructions so this was much better. It also saves a lot of stress and call outs when guests are well advised from the start. Gerry from Cork was great and rescued us when we were unable to get TV Chanel's and granny was fretting about missing the soaps. A simple text to Daniel about the problem and Gerry turned up a short time later . Gerry showed us to reset the box and when it happened again it was a simple fix for us to do ourselves. The Pool guy was in at 7 30 am on Monday and was gone again before we knew he was there. Towels were changed on Monday as promised. Overall very happy with Management and please pass our regards to them. This was probably my most relaxed holiday ever and I and all the family really enjoyed the villa. Thank you for allowing us to bring Aunt Anna at short notice and she had a great time too. We really loved the outdoor space and each morning a coffee on the terrace was a great start to the day. The chairs were so comfy and springy just a pleasure to sit there. A couple of the chairs had minor issue where a support screw came out. Gerry got one of the guys to take two of them away and were returned fixed same day. One small item for the pool table . Chalk for the cues. We didnt know where to get any and forgot to ask . Some of the cues a bit worn out but we still loved the pool table all in all we really had a great time and would love to come back again to stay in your lovely property. If you are looking for a great property for a great family holiday do not hesitate to book this go for it ,just leave a space for us to come back again can't wait Trisha n Gerry

Perfection!

By W9063XFrobj on 19-Feb-2018

Firstly Sue was so lovely to deal with! Photos do not do it justice, this is a real home from home and we truly fell in love with this villa. They have thought of everything, it is so nice we were reluctant to leave and drive into the town! We arrived to a traditional Spanish welcome pack, and Sue had put up Christmas decorations and a tree for us! Its a 5 min drive to the main town, or there is a taxi rank at the end of the street. Location is ideal, immaculate decor, high quality finish everywhere. The outdoors feel like you have booked your own hotel with a large pool, hot tub, lots of loungers, al fresco dining area with a patio and BBQ. If we visit again, this is 100% where we will stay!!

We couldn't have been happier with the overall experience we have had we will definitely be booking as soon as we get home for next January. The pool and hot tub were fantastic for the kids they loved having it all to themselves.

Amazing family villa - the only bad thing is having to leave it!

By JohnW543BT Birmingham, United Kingdom on 03-Jan-2018

We arrived on the 16 December 17 for a 10 day Xmas break. Our party consisted 3 adults and 5 children. This villa is amazing and has all the facilities you would expect from a 5 * hotel and beyond. It included the pool, hot tub, BBQ [Xmas meal] pool table, TV at night with loads of English channels and films to choose from. The pool and hot tub are cleaned regular. We drove but it is a pleasant walk to the water park and Flamingo Beach [10 minutes] and taxis are just outside that can take you into the town at night cheap [3 euros]. There is also a volcano at the back that you can have pleasant walk up. Location wise its perfect. Everything was stress free, from booking with Sue to being pleasantly greeted at the villa by Gerry to then handing the keys over at the end. The management company [Daniel] is a call away if there are any problems and very considerate to ensure everything is OK and that there are no issues. The only bad thing to say about the place is that you just don't want to leave it, honestly. Thank you.

Einfach perfekt - simply perfect

By Hans-Jorg K. on 16-Nov-2017

I hope the English version is translated correctly  The house including the beautiful pool area offers everything a nice relaxing holiday accounts. We enjoyed the time very much and felt very comfortable. The house is very tastefully decorated and the outdoor area with pool incl. Whirlpool is beautifully designed. Everything is very clean and contains everything you need for your daily needs. In the interior, in the basement next to the bedrooms and bathroom is a large room with a newly covered pool, flat screen TV and a bar with a very large couch inviting you to linger. Due to the great weather we did not use. Sue and the local manager Daniel are very helpful and friendly and are available for any questions always available. This was our 3rd holiday in Playa Blanca and everyone loved the villa and the magnificent grounds. The pool including the whirlpool and the available area simply awesome. Alone when it was dark the lighting system on the plants and the pool lighting dreamlike. In connection with the great weather, it was wonderful. I could very well imagine exactly this house again and thank you for the beautiful time.

My Response

Hi Hans, thank you very much for your kind review and for taking the time to translate it also. I do hope we get to welcome you back again in the future. Regards Sue.

Absolutely Brilliant

By 4starwood on 27-Oct-2017

We have rented numerous villas over the years and nothing compares to this, from initial contact with Sue to the amazing service from Daniel whilst we were there, the villa is amazing with everything that we could wish for and as a family group ranging from 5 to 76 we have all just had our best holiday yet. The pool was an absolute godsend and my kids would have spent all day in it if they could, the rooms were a fantastic size, uninterrupted WiFi and an amazing choice of tv channels. As for Daniel he was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and he did the best handover we have ever had..... with the kids being involved to and Daniel was on hand to answer any queries we had anytime during our stay. Even on departure day they went above and beyond any service you expect, chasing up our transfer taxi and staying with us until it arrived. Thank you to Sue, Daniel and his team for making this the best holiday ever (the exact words of my children) we were sad to leave but we would love to come back again!

Hard to leave!

By Angelo B Dublin, Ireland on 13-Sep-2017

Amazing place! Has everything you need: lovely heated pool, snooker table, cosy common rooms, well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, big TV. The place was spotless too. We didn't travel with children but it is well set up if you are, had a high chair, cot, car seat and loads of toys. In fact we got so comfortable there that it was hard to leave at times. But when you do, its close to the beach and has a water park within walking distance. It's near to the town too but not so close as to be a noisy area. Would highly recommend, we'll definitely be back!!

Perfection in one place

By Ian R Liverpool, United Kingdom on 22-Aug-2017

Second time that we have stayed here (first time in 2012) - eight of us (4 adults and 4 teenagers). Villa is in a great location amongst an upcoming development area, easy stroll to beachfront, playa blanca and the water-park (although taxi only costs a few euros into town too). Really well equipped villa - plenty of things to help you relax, unwind and have fun; but also enough space when the teenagers needed to be alone! Daniel (villa manager) extremely attentive and offers great customer service too. whether this is your first time in a villa or you have stayed in one before - you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous holiday for 8 people

By Roam687809 on 22-May-2017

First time we have booked a private villa. Not disappointed at all. Smooth transfer. Fabulous place, loads of space, very well kept. Kids loved the pool, big tv, pool table, and hot tub. Great outdoor eating space. Near enough to playa flamingo and a lovely walk into playa blanca. Water park 5 mins away too. Taxi rank 2 mins away on main road. 4 euros to playa blanca. It is an up and coming area. Rep was really helpful when we arrived. Owner Sue very nice to deal with over email and accommodating. Would certainly recommend and return.

Just what we wanted.

By Brian H. on 28-Feb-2017

As soon as we arrived, we were delighted, I really dont think the photos do this villa justice. We have stayed at a good few villas now, all over Europe, and this is definitely up there with the best. Spotlessly clean and well furnished (the bed in particular, was great,as I have a bad back). There was a nice welcome pack with a bottle of vino on our arrival. The kids loved the pool,(nice temperature) hopping from it to the hot tub for hours on end. We had one bad day weather wise, but it was fine as we played pool and watched movies. The TV was great, I got to watch the match and she got to see the soaps, when we werent out and about. The owner, Sue, was very helpful and quick to respond to all our queries, as was Daniel, the manager. Playa Blanca is a lovely place, with plenty of choice for restaurants and the marina is particularly nice. We stayed in Porto Del Carmen last year and would much prefer Playa Blanca. We will definitley return to Playa Blanca and Casa Blanca.

Wonderful Villa

By Splinter1Manchester on 23-Feb-2017

Just got back from a great week at Casablanca Villa 7 of us between 70 and 8 years old. Fantastic villa - my favourite so far with absolutely everything you could wish for. Top spec - all in good working order Worth paying a little extra. Great quiet location with good views. We will be returning soon. Bring your own Tassimo pods though - couldn't find them in any of the local shops

By Mark H on 09-Feb-2017

This villa is really good. Excellent in fact. We checked all the reviews before going and all seemed ok. On arrival the villa was very clean with the basics Milk, Wine, Water etc.. The pool was heated and the jacuzzi was spotless and hot. The living room had a brand new Tv with all the channels required for any nationality. There were ample Hairdryers and a ironing board and iron, washing machine and dishwasher. The villa is situated 15 mins walk from Playa Blanca town center or 5 mins in a taxi ( taxi rank at the top of the road). BBQ area and table outside with 8 seats. All the AC works and there is a private gate for access at the entrance. Very quiet, no noise, no construction, excellent views of Fuerteventurer.

A home from home

By Steven C on 24-Jul-2016

Me and my wife have visited this villa 4 times now and every time we return we are pleasantly reminded of how beautiful it is. The villa is finished to a high standard. The pool is heated and very pleasant to swim in even in the colder months that we have been. The hot tub is well....just amazing. The bathrooms are lovely and the villa is very spacious. I would recommended this villa to anybody. The only negative I have is that the Internet is not very good. We are beginning to rely on Internet more and more and while I don't need anything super fast I think it's under average for what you would expect and wifi coverage is very poor. You need to sit in the sitting room to get connected. It's not a big issue and hopefully the owners will be able to rectify this minor inconvenience before my next return :)

This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Your response:
"Hi Steven. Thank you for your kind review, we are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay. We have had a few problems with our wifi/broadband. We have just installed a separate broadband system to look after the TV so as to free up the wifi, and we are putting in a booster so wifi will be available throughout the house. Unfortunately broadband is poor throughout the island, but we are currently speaking to other providers to see if we can provide a better service. I hope you will find a big improvement on your next visit. Thanks again. Sue"

Everything we wanted and more

By Darren T. on 20-Jan-2016

From the moment we first inquired to the time we handed the keys back we knew we had been spoilt. Little bit concerned about doing this all by ourselves rather then letting a travel agent sort it out, but, like you, we found this on line right here, bit nervous we hit send to the owner and the holiday feeling began. Sue was an absolute blessing, talked to her by email and phone it was all great getting the bits and pieces sorted. Her local knowledge grateful and extremely useful, everything from hire cars to trips out, restaurants, markets etc. We turned up, my wife, son of 16, daughter of 13 and myself with the images of these photos in our heads, met by the manager and all I can say is wow. Set on two levels, upstairs Master bedroom with ensuite, another bedroom with ensuite, toilet, dining room and kitchen with every thing needed to prepare and eat with the all important dishwasher to do the hard work for you. Downstairs, the cavernous proportions of the living area are epic, the pool table looked lost in it, with another two bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside the views were outstanding, want to wake up and watch the sunrise while in a hot tub? Here you can. We went in October, 30's in the day so can only imagine what this outside area can do for your tan in summer time, plenty of seating, loungers, a well thought out BBQ area and a pool that was plenty big enough for us. We walked into the town and seafront a few times, but taxis were cheap enough, well we was on holiday. Driving on the island was simple not a problem, went all over. Villa itself was immaculately clean, well furnished, well equipped and tastefully decorated, it felt like so much effort had gone into making it into a home rather then a holiday letting. Wifi was strong and fast, handy for them who needs to know. Off road gated parking for the car, meant the beast (our hire car) was secure. We will definitely be returning.

My Response

Hi Darren ,Thank you so much for your kind feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Since your stay, we have carried out some major refurbishments which should you return ,you will be very impressed. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Many thanks, Sue

The perfect place for a perfect family Christmas

By Rob J on 04-Jan-2016

From the moment we pulled up outside the villa it impressed. upon entering it just continued to get better and better, the photos do not do it justice. The property is huge, yet has a homely feel from the moment you enter. It was immaculate, and we didn't find ourselves wanting for anything. The garden with hot tub and pool was a lovely place to be, the terrace with large outdoor dining table and chairs was perfect for breakfast looking out over the sea, the hot tub was perfect for chilling day or night and the pool was lovely-the kids would have been happy to stay all day every day! We were a family of 8 from 2-80 years old, and everyone loved it and there was plenty of room for us all-in fact we could've brought more! The location is ideal, away from the town, but only 5 mins away, just 3 euro in a cab from the end of the road. We all fell in love with the house and Playa Blanca....so much so that we are going to return every year!

Excellent accommodation

By Nc88b Stevenage, United Kingdom on 27-Jun-2014

The villa is perfect. There was a group of 4 ladies in our early 40's and it was everything we hoped it would be. As the beaches near by aren't great we stayed by the pool everyday bar one when we jumped on the ferry across to Fuerteventura for the day and relaxed on a golden beach with lovely clear water. The local town is a leisurely 20 min stroll (less if you want to walk fast) where we had dinner most nights. The villa would be plenty big enough for a couple of families of 4 to stay together or like us spread out with a few friends. We are definitely talking about going again.

Communication with the owner was seamless and very easy. We will be back, the only problem is when which is half the problem when you look at the availability, thats says it all really !! Thanks again Mark

Huge, very well equipped villa, great for families to share

By Jellybrains Swindon, United Kingdom on 30-Jan-2013

We stayed here for a week as a group of 2 couples, each with 2 children between the ages of 2 and 9. The villa is even bigger than it looks in the pictures so we didn't feel that we were getting in each others way at any time. The friendly and helpful owners advertise the villa as a 'home from home' and this is certainly true. It is fully equipped for indoor and outdoor use for adults and children, right down to baby equipment, toys, books & DVDs. The villa was spotlessly clean and very well furnished with enough sunbeds, chairs & kitchen equipment for everyone. The beds and pillows were all very clean and comfortable. Obviously the pool and hot tub were great and used every day. There are a lot of places to visit within walking distance so a car isn't essential although its nice to have. It's worth bearing in mind that we were told there is a zero tolerance drink driving policy on the island and we saw the police from the villa doing spot checks on a couple of days. There are 2 water parks close by. We went to the one with the octopus which may be more suited to older children than ours children as there are height restrictions on what the kids can go on. There is a chart outside so I'd advise to check before you pay to go in as it isn't cheap for a family. I also wouldn't recommend going there on a slightly cooler day. Daniel the villa manager is very welcoming and helpful and the welcome pack was was generous and an absolute godsend for the tired and hungry children. I would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone.

Wonderful Vacation at Villa Casanova

By Poilin78 on 22-Jan-2013

I just returned home to Boston after a one week vacation in beautiful Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. We were a group of 5 and had a great time. The villa is spacious, spotless and well equipped, pool and jacuzzi are fab, great outdoor and indoor space, full kitchen, we had everything we needed. Taxis are cheap and plentiful for hitting Playa Blanca, which is a short drive away. Flamingo beach is close and there is a wonderful path along the coast which I walked each morning. Driving is easy and relaxed and there are plenty of places nearby to explore. Sue made the booking process painless and Daniel was most helpful in orienting us on our arrival. I highly recommend this villa for a great vacation.

Five star villa with every need catered for

By Mary Jane B on 21-Jun-2012

Stayed in this villa for a week in January with our five year old daughter and two year old twins. It is a five star villa in every sense and would not be afraid to return again with a group of adults. Every need was catered for, adults & children included. The owners answered all our questions and querys in a prompt and in depth manner prior to our arrival. We knew what to except, but when we arrived it exceeded all of our expectations. I have a big birthday this year and have booked again for a week with my six friends and know they will be so impressed with this amazing villa. The owners guide to local Resturants and attractions was invaluable during our stay, it is obvious how much time & effort they but into this venture. I've spent a few years renting villas in France, so I've come to know what to expect but this was well thought out and well presented, up there!

Casablanca worked perfectly for us - a superb villa!

By Karen A on 19-Jun-2012

Booking and communication with Sue the owner was quick and easy. Daniel the contact in Lanzorate was excellent - courtious, funny and very efficent. We made full use of what the villa had to offer . Pool, pool table & the hot tub was a great success with everyone. Lovely to have pool towels. All the bedrooms, storage, bedding, towels etc great. Ipod dock, Sky TV (+ bedroom) real positives. Enough sitting for everyone inside and out. Books & DVD’s made it feel more like a home. Internet access was a winner for the younger members of the family. We loved the terrace area and that lovely patio set, BBQ was ideal. Top tip from us - order a taxi - you (can get a 6 seater) picks you up from the Villa - to sea front about 3 euro's Marina 4.5 euros - even better same price after midnight :) No parking probs or arguements about who's driving. We didn't want for anything and would diffinately return. Our 10th villa holiday and the family voted it #1.

'Casablanca' Vista Lobos.Amazing family holiday!

By Ellieolivia Edinburgh, United Kingdom on 03-Aug-2011

We had the pleasure of staying in the beautiful 'Casablanca' villa, Number 39 Vista Lobos on our recent family holiday. I truly cannot praise the place enough. Sue, the owner, was fabulous and so accomodating and even prior to our depature provided information re: airport transfers etc to alleviate any stress involved in taking a young family abroad! On our arrival at this 5 * villa we were met by Daniel, who was assigned to overseeing any issues we may have had during our stay, and he ensured we were settled in providing us information from the operation of the alarm to good places to eat! He was wonderful and 'on-call' for the remaining of our stay should we need anything.
The villa itself more than met up to its 5* standard. Clean and beautifully maintained inside and out. The rooms were spacious and beds sumptious. The large downstairs seating area was wonderful and included a large pool table which provided endless hours of fun. Outside the large pool and hot tub was perfect with ample surounding area for sunworshiping! Sue and John have thought of everything with this villa providing something for everyone. There was everything possibly needed for our 1 year old as far as cot, baby monitors etc was concerned right down to a large box of toys for her to entertain herself with. Outdoors, by the pool, was a small sandpit also which she enjoyed 'pottering' in.
Outside the villa complex there was a convenient taxi rank which we used daily, although I would defintely hire a car next time in order to see more of Lanzarote.
The whole area was clean and beautifully maintained. The climate was perfect.
We just cannot wait to book again for next year!!

Date of stay: July 2011

I would recommend this villa in a heartbeat.fantastic!

By Voyage803147 Northampton on 24-May-2011

We stayed for a week in Villa Casablanca (No 39), and had a lovely time, and the villa was amazing.

Myself and huband had the master, my Mum had bed 2, and my sister, husband and their 2 kids had the run of the downstairs!!!

the layout takes a bit of getting used to, with the kitchen and dining areas on the top floor (with the two double bedrooms), with the other bedrooms/bathroom off the large living area downstairs. the pool is on its own level between these.

The main plus points for us were:
Villa is very spacious, clean, has everything you need and in a great spot within the development.
The pool is fantastic (just right temperature) and the views from the terrace are lovely.
Dishwasher/Washing Machine made life easy (wash as you go, don't need to pack as much!)
Bonus of a beer/wine fridge downstairs next to the bar area (fits about 9 litre bottles)
Plenty of toys for small children and some inflatables (although i think these may be left by guests over time, so are not guaranteed by the owner)
Good air con in the bedrooms and comfortable beds (we all slept really well)
Plenty of hot water, and powerful showers.
Large fridge freezer for all your self-catering needs.

We did actually self-cater most of the time (easier with two young kids in tow), and we found the BBQ really easy to use to. The main oven took a bit of getting used to, as not fan assisted, but it was OK once up to temp.

the big Hyperdino is the best supermarket to use. Free parking (1hr) if you spend over 6E and you get your ticket stamped at the till, and then swiped at the booth in the car-park and then you get let out at the barriers. You can take your trolleys down in the lift to your car. You'll need 50cent for the trolley.

The small supermarket just up the road (next to hotel) is great for Croissants and fresh baguettes (the croissants are HUGE!!) - and if you run out of anything!!

On balance, there were a few minor negative points, but nothing to stop us going back or recommending the villa (but these might be of importance to you)

Only one bedroom currently has blackout blinds/curtains (bed 2).
The villa is south facing, so not much shade to be had in the middle of the day. The table parasol is lovely and big, but of mesh construction so does let 50% of the sun through. Owner is in the process of replacing a second parasol.
Personally the Jacuzzi was a bit too chemical for me (but it has to be like that to kill bugs), it was lovely and warm and bubbly though.
Not much space to put your own groceries (bread cerials etc), but owner has acknowledged this, and hopes to resolve this. I have suggested an additional small cupboard on the wall would help.

Like i said, the pro's of this lovely villa FAR outway these minor niggles, and we would go back tomorrow, given half a chance!!!!

Lovely holiday at Villa Casablanca

By SPTLondon2009 London on 11-Nov-2010

We have just returned from a blissful 9 days at Villa Casablanca on the Vista Lobos development. The villa is spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped both inside and around the pool area. Daniel was very helpful and pleasant when we arrived and also during our stay. The villa was clean and well maintained, it has a good kitchen, comfy beds, powerful showers, a safe, a very relaxing seating area around a 42" screen (with the DVD player it felt like our own cinema!) and a pool table which we used almost every night.
It's practical to walk into Playa Blanca from the villa, and buses/taxis seemed plentiful. We really enjoyed walking along the Playa Blanca promenade, we spent a day on the sun beds at Playa Dorada and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. However, if you rent a car you can visit the Papagaya beaches which are wonderful for swimming and not too far down the road there is Playa Quemada and a restaurant called 7 Islas where you can eat a delicious inexpensive lunch of fresh fish or paella or tapas and watch the paragliders take off from the coastal path.

Casablanca - Amazing Villa & beautiful location. Would highly recommend it

By Dubash Dublin on 11-Aug-2010

I can't say enough about our stay in the Casablanca Villa (Four adults and 2 small children)

We were given a lovely welcome from Daniel who went to great lengths to explain how everything worked and give us tips for eating and sightseeing.

The villa is furnished to an extremely high standard and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a family holiday with everything from a toaster to sky tv. The fully equipped kitchen, with a nice welcome pack when we arrived, made life a whole lot easier with small children. Bedrooms are huge with powerful showers in the bathrooms. And we were provided with highchairs, travel cots and stairgates for the little ones.

The Villa was cleaned weekly with towels and sheets changed, although the washing machine meant we always had fresh towels.

The hot tub and pool were brilliant. Kids loved the pool and sand pit and wanted to stay in all day.

While outside the main food/shopping area the villa is in a good location with a lovely walk along the seafront to Playa Blanca town. Playa Blanca is a lovely relaxed holiday spot. It was quiet when we were there but it was just before the season kicked off. There are some beautiful restaurants both in the town and further up the seafront in the Marina. (all of which Daniel will tell you about)

For the evening you want to stay in the Supermarket is in the main town and has everything you could need. And with the amazing barbeque why wouldn't you stay in.

The Papagio beaches are amazing - but do go prepared with lots of water and snacks as you can only buy these on one of the beaches.
A trip to the volcano and El Golfo is well worth it especially if you have a car.

Our holiday was everything and more. Its is a beautifully looked after villa which we called home for our short stay. We will definitely be back in the future.
