Villa Cartaphilus – Luxury 6 Bed Villa in Los MojonesThis luxurious 6 bedroom villa in Lanzarote has four bathrooms and accommodates 14 guests. Set in Los Mojones, Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote. The villa is situated in a quiet and exclusive residential area but within easy walking distance of a large selection of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. A great location only a 13 Min walk to the Beach.
To the front entrance of this villa you will find a spacious car port that will fit two cars. With lovely tropical gardens with various cacti and other sub tropical plants. Along the side of the villa you can follow a path that takes you from the car port around to the front door and then onto a side gate of the private swimming pool.
This spacious villa is suitable for families or a group of friends. Ideal for those with the desire for a unique boutique holiday experience in Lanzarote.

Entering through the villa from the front door, you will be greeted with stunning full length floor to ceiling windows and three sliding glass doors, giving you an outstanding view of the swimming pool and terrace area. The living space, with split-level dining and a comfortable lounge area, together with the high ceilings make the villa airy and spacious.

Unlimited high speed Internet and WIFI is available throughout the villa. Total living space is 250m². Villa Cartaphilus has air-conditioned in some of the bedrooms to keep you cool during those warm Lanzarote evenings

Within the large lounge area, you will find a lovely open space with comfy, stylish seating. The latest entertainment system including a massive 52-inch-high definition multi-channel (including English and Irish channels) TV. Netflix, a DVD player, during their stay. The sitting room is a comfortable and inviting area with plenty of seating.

Six Bedrooms
Cartaphilus has plenty of space with the accommodation comprising of six large bedrooms. The bedrooms consist of two master bedrooms with en-suite, two triple bedrooms, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, all of which are furnished to the highest standard.
Bedrooms Three and Four share a bathroom, with a bath, WC, double hand basin, walk-in shower and wall mounted hair dryer.
Bedrooms Five and Six share a bathroom with a walk-in shower, WC, double hand basin and wall mounted hair dryer.
Master Bedroom
Super king size bed, multi-channel TV, DVD player, free air-conditioning and ceiling fan. The spacious en-suite bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower, WC, double hand basin, and wall mounted hair dryer.
Twin Bedroom (six)
This large twin bedroom has two single beds. Shares a bathroom with bedroom five. Comprising a walk-in shower, WC, double hand basin and wall mounted hair dryer.
Master Bedroom Two
Super king size bed, free air-conditioning and ceiling fan. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, WC, walk-in shower, double hand basin, and wall mounted hair dryer for your use.
Triple Bedroom Three
A double bed, single bed, free air-conditioning, ceiling fan and wall mounted hair dryer.
Triple Bedroom Four
A double bed, single bed, free air-conditioning, and ceiling fan.
Double Bedroom Five

Exterior Areas Of The Villa
Large Heated Swimming Pool
This prestigious villa is a detached property. Both private and secluded with mature tropical gardens. Enclosed with large walls made out of lava giving you privacy during your holiday.
There is an large and inviting salt water swimming pool that you can enter via Romanesque style steps. The pool is 8 metres long and 4 metres wide and has cool up-lights that shine at night-time. The shallow end is a metre deep and the deep end is 1.35m. This swimming pool is electrically heated from October 20th until May 1st.
Small Baby Pool
A small baby pool is attached to the main pool, allowing you to relax as the children play close by. Extensive open and covered terraces and spacious patio areas with several sun loungers. Beach towels are provided.
There is also an outdoor shower along side the pool area.
Cleaning
Two/Three persons: clean on arrival only
Four persons +: up to 10 nights clean on arrival only
Four persons +: 11-14 nights clean on arrival and mid stay full clean, towel and linen change
There are 2 Bath & Hand Towels provided per person staying.
There is a state of the art custom built charcoal barbecue, with plenty of garden seating for you to enjoy dining al-fresco. A pool table and darts can also be found in the patio area.
Security & Accessibility
Modern security alarm systems, including three safes, are fully fitted, to ensure you peace of mind while staying in Villa Cartaphilus. All windows throughout the villa have a safety latch so you can open them during the night and still feel secure.
Notes:
Tariff: Rates for are for up to four persons . Extra guests are charged at £125.00 per person per week and £174.00 per person during high season.
Terms: 25% deposit is payable on booking confirmation .Balance to be paid 12 weeks prior to arrival. ***All guests should have holiday insurance***.
Bookings are normally from 16:00 h on arrival to 11.00 of day of departure.

Great location Very well equipped Would defo recommend for people to go there. The people who run at are very nice and accommodating very quick to get back to u when we had a problem I would have put 4 and half stars if I could have. reason for taking half star off is just because we had a problem with the water not running properly but they were Quick to fix and show us how to fix if it did it again Were thinking off booking again for next year

By David Thomas on 29-Jun-2025Which Villa Did You Stay: Cartaphilus Rate Your Stay: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review: Came to this beautiful villa on June 19th 2025 and how fantastic is was everything we could ask for from bedding to sun beds dart board pool table and a fantastic barbecue and not forgetting the fabulous pool garden surroundings were stunning. Now for the inside where do I start a 6 bedroom villa and boy does it live up to its name, all beds were so comfortable on suite was fantastic lounge area so big and roomy dining area really large kitchen had every single utensil from bottle opener to pots and pans coffee maker brevile maker microwave I mean they haven't left anything out. It's that fantastic we all 11 of us are planning to come back 2027 for my 60th for 2 weeks as we only stayed for 1 week and didn't want to come back. It is situated about 15 minutes walk to strip and beach 5 mins in taxi which will only cost you 4.5 euros about 3.75 in English this villa is absolutely fantastic infact I've stayed at a few villas but nothing like this one it's outstanding.the tables outside where we spent most of our time are great they have really thought about your needs to make it a wonderful stay which we all had thank you so much Roy you made my sisters day special as she got married at the villa. I could go on and on to how beautiful this villa is but trust me if you like your villa stays then please give this villa a try you really won't be disappointed the villa is so clean decor pool area grounds it's spotless. So myself David Thomas and my wife lisa Thomas we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this fabulous villa and carnt wait to return.

But for the rest of the family however it was their first time . They were really impressed . Cleanliness – perfect . Amenities -perfect . Loved the fact that all the bedrooms had air con .Outside space was great . Lovely pool and loads of sun beds .Huge barbie and lots of sun brollies . One slight moan – the T V and wi-fi was very unreliable ( I think the maintenance guys visited us three times ) . I know it may seem petty but apart from the fact we paid for it try telling a three year old that she can’t watch C Bebbies because the TV isn’t working. ..Overall .- wonderful

Area was lovely & quiet. Villa was excellent, just as described and as pictures. Inside and out was spotless and has everything you needed. Bed rooms where large and beds were very comfortable. Ensuite's and bathrooms where amazing. Showers were very powerful. The Aircon in one of the bedrooms was broken, this was replaced the next day. Pool is a great size and was cleaned while we were there. Lots of sunbeds with cushions so very comfortable. Pool table was missing a ball which was replaced when requested the same day. Communication with letting company excellent. Would not hesitate to book again. --- Date: 22 July 2024
