Description

Casa Tropicana is all about the location! The property sits in the area of Los Mojones, Puerto Del Carmen and within walking distance of the old town and harbour with its wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The sandy beach of Playa Grande and the main Strip are a little further on but also within walking distance. What’s more the villa has its own private pool and homely interiors. Air conditioning/heating in two of the bedrooms and lounge, pool heating and Wi-Fi are included. There are wonderful mature plants and palms trees on one side of the villa. Next to the pool there is a very small shallow pond that has a tranquil waterfall, sounds of the tropics are just what is needed. Swimming pool, pool terrace and sunbathing area The side terrace has table and chairs for open-air dining with an awning you are able to pull out should you wish to be shaded from the sun and pool side under the covered pergola you will find comfy seating where you can sit back and relax with a view of the pool and plants Casa Tropicana has to offer. There is a brick BBQ to the side of the villa where the outdoor table and chairs are and great sized pool to take a dip in whilst you enjoy in the heat of the Lanzarote sunshine, and not forgetting the sun loungers and parasols where you can lay back and simply relax. Bedrooms and bathrooms The villa comprises of 1 double and 2 twin bedrooms. The Master bedroom and one Twin bedroom is accessible from the hall. These two bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and air conditioning. The second twin has a door that leads from the lounge, this twin room also has patio doors that opens out to the beautiful front terrace and pool area. This twin bedroom has a floor standing fan should it be needed and a free-standing wardrobe. There is a shower room located as you enter Casa Tropicana between the front door and Master Bedroom and another good-sized family shower room also accessible from the hall located between the Master bedroom and one of the twin bedrooms. Living area and kitchen The lounge has large patio doors leading out to the side terrace where you will find the outside table and chairs along with the BBQ area. The patio door lets the light flood into the living space giving a bright and airy feel. The separate fully equipped kitchen which has integrated appliances also has a table and chairs that will seat 4.

Last minute getaway

After deciding to have a last minute break I contacted Nina who immediately confirmed the availability for Casa Tropicana. We’ve spent the last 18 years holidaying in Lanzarote and have to say this is the best villa we have stayed in. Everything was emaculate and finished to a high standard with lovely additional touches throughout. Nina and Nathan have thought of everything to make this accommodated truly 5 star and at hand to answer any questions you may have. Casa Tropicana has amazing secure outside space with a great heated pool and very comfortable sun beds and furniture to spend days and nights relaxing. Car not essential as it is within walking distance to local shops, bars and restaurants with taxis approx 4 euros to/from main strip. Amazing relaxing stay, perfect from start to finish and will definitely return. Date of experience: October 14, 2023

A slice of perfection

All I can say is Casa Tropicana is a slice of heaven. Nina and Nathan were the most welcoming hosts popping in on day one to say a quick hi and go through any questions we might have had. We had a welcoming basket on arrival, and a little blue folder with all the particulars. The villa in itself is spotless. Towels and beach towels provided. Everything down to the smallest of details were covered. Taxis were prompt as both our parents can''t walk a long distance. On our 2nd last day we rebooked for 2024 for 10 days Date of experience: September 29, 2023

As good as it gets, want one of my own!

We’ve stayed in lots of villas on our travels, this one was far and away the best for facilities and location. I’m pretty sure there’s more pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and utensils in the kitchen of Casa Tropicana than we have at home. Fantastic outside space and pool, teenage kids had plenty of space for themselves and the wifi / international tv was excellent. The all the furniture was new or nearly new and Nina and Nathan couldn’t have been more helpful. It’s a 10 minutes wander down to the Old Town and a fraction longer to the beach and main strip. Maybe 15 mins back up the slope after a good meal though! Would love to come back, but not until we’re tried Villa Lazy Dayz Date of experience: September 18, 2023
