Villa Mayo 5 bedroom villa with a fantastic swimming pool terrace in a prime but tranquil and very private location with all amenities close by. It comprises of 5 spacious bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and will accommodate up to 11 people and to keep you cool during those warm sultry evenings air-conditioning has been installed throughout the villa. The master bedroom has a feeling of opulence with a super-king sized bed and an en-suite shower room. The 2 twin bedrooms have a full independent bathroom. This tastefully designed villa is spacious and would be ideal for families and friends looking for a relaxing and quality holiday. The lounge area is comfortable and inviting with a large flat screen TV, BBC1/2, ITV1/2/3,CH4/5, RTE1/2, TVE3, Sky Sports/Movies, German TV, CD player and DVD. The villa has a fully equipped modern kitchen with a utility and drying area. Relax and enjoy the private south facing sun terraces, the pool table, table tennis or relax in your own Hot Tub Jacuzzi and later dine under the stars and enjoy that “alfresco” dining experience.Exterior: This prestigious, detached villa is extremely private with walled-in mature landscaped gardens. The expansive south-facing terrace has a large (7,5m x 3.5m) private pool electrically heated (important during the winter months) and an abundance of comfortable sun-loungers plus a separate built-in BBQ area. You will find the ¨al fresco¨ dining area on the terrace with extensive covered seating offering comfortable shade and protection from the sun and breezes and later, why not immerse yourself in your own warm water therapeutic 7 seater spa Jacuzzi combining an experience that is both rejuvenating and healing whilst washing away muscle and joint pains with hydro massage water jets. And for the more energetic, outdoor table tennis and pool table.

Terms: A £600.00 deposit is payable on booking confirmation. Balance to be paid 70 days prior to arrival. ***All guests should have holiday insurance***.

Location: Just a short walk from the Villa you will find supermarkets, shops, good restaurants, tapas bars, local bakery (for freshly baked bread and warm croissants) and a taxi rank. Villa Mayo is also just a short walk from the spectacular 5 km of golden beaches at Puerto Del Carmen with its palm trees and rocky divides. The picturesque old fishing port of the Old Town is close by, a favourite spot to enjoy the local wine or sample one of the many excellent seafood restaurants for that special occasion.
Puerto Del Carmen lies centrally and is a coastal area making it perfect for reaching the Island’s many beautiful attractions and beaches. Arrecife is the lively capital of the Island boasting some excellent shopping and is only a 10 minute drive. The beautiful international marina at Puerto Calero with a wealth of excellent restaurants and marine excursions is a 15 minute drive.

We had the most wonderful time and Villa Mayo was perfect for us with the 7 year old on a Z bed in the master bedroom. All the facilities were plentiful and we wanted for nothing with everyone using the pool, hot tub, table tennis and pool table although the pool was fantastic and there never seemed a moment when someone wasn’t in it. I must admit that the dishwasher was the most used utility item with 11 of us. I was concerned about food shopping so I ordered an on line delivery from Mercadona which was perfect but I advise you do this before you leave the UK, one mistake I made was when we needed a second shop I didn’t order it soon enough so I couldn’t get a slot until the day before we left which was too late, you need a minimum of 4 days notice plus they’re closed on Sunday. We used the BBQ about 3 times which was excellent, the TV system for sport was brilliant and there was nothing we couldn’t get once Roy & Jill has shown us how to use it !!! I would highly recommend this Villa for a family holiday or a group of friends as we are considering in the future. The complementary welcome pack that Roy & Gill gave us was way beyond expectations and even included a small case of beer which was very much appreciated. Thank you Roy & Gill the service you provided from booking to leaving for home was very good. Date: 16 August 2025

By Carol Perkins on 25-May-2025Which Villa Did You Stay: Villa Chic Rate Your Stay: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review: This was our seventh stay in different villas belonging to Best Villas in Los Mojones. What can we say, as usual spotlessly clean and tidy. The pool and hot tub were wonderfully warm and cleaned three times during our stay. Everything you could need is provided. The welcome pack was excellent and much needed as we arrived on a late flight. We will be booking our next stay very soon. Date: 25 May 2025

Jill and Roy as always, are extremely helpful and friendly with all aspects of the booking process and are on hand if needed whilst you are there. On this occasion there was a potential issue with the water supply due to road works, the issue did not occur but Jill did everything in her power to ensure that we would have water should the issue happen . We have stayed in a few of the villas in the area through Best Villas which have always been wonderful and whilst Mayo was comfortable, great pool area, hot tub, pool and table tennis- I feel that the kitchen needs updating as does the shower room in the bedroom off the utility room. The other bedrooms and bathrooms were great. We were celebrating a special birthday and Jill and Roy left us a complimentary welcome package which was very thoughtful. Overall if I was booking again I would most likely choose one of the other villas in the same area that Jill and Roy manage. The area is very pleasant and peaceful but close enough to all the amenities that Peurto-del-Carmen has.
Fantastic Villa
By Julie on 07-Sep-2024Villa Mayo was an amazing place to stay. It had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. A well equipped villa, the pool table and table tennis table kept two happy chaps occupied for the whole stay. The pool was clean and a great temperature. We spent the week outside either by the pool or at the barbecue. The Lidl was a handy supermarket and had everything we needed. Communication with Roy was always quick and Jill popped in the first morning to check all okay. Would definitely recommend this Villa and we will be returning for another visit.
