We booked for 12 people and stayed at this villa for 11 nights Feb 2024 Condition & Amenities Villa is in great condition and clean, all amenities excellent including washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker & smart TV with all apps. We arrived to the best arrival package we have ever had at a villa, everything you could want, above and beyond. A big pool (perfect for kids) and hot tub that was cleaned regularly. Bedrooms are large and comfortable and bathrooms excellent. We booked for 12 people and there was plenty of room for that amount of people. Villa has two floors which makes it perfect for if any of your family want some peace and quiet. Location The location was perfect as a short walk to the old town and great cafes and restaurants including Kalma Cafe which is the best breakfast spot in PDC. Taxis from anywhere in PDC (very bottom of the strip) are between €3 - €5. Communication The communication from the owner was the best I've had ever in renting any accommodation. The owner went above and beyond for us and we really appreciated it.
We stayed in Casa Troy for 2 weeks as a family of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). As well as being blessed with brilliant weather for our entire stay, we were so impressed with the villa itself. A lovely little touch on arrival was the welcome basket, especially given that we arrived in the early hours of the morning due to a flight delay. The villa was extremely clean and very well maintained. Everything we could think of was there. The kitchen was so well equipped, by the end of the first week it felt like our new home! The living/dining areas are extremely spacious, ideal for larger groups or a couple of families staying together. We were very impressed with the pool, it was a lot bigger than we anticipated and the hot tub was an added bonus. The villa itself is situated in a quiet residential area, within walking distance to the main strip/beach, where you are spoilt for choice with plenty of lovely restaurants/bars. The owner was also very helpful with the whole booking process. I would recommend Casa Troy in a heartbeat and will most definitely be returning next year.
The villa is nestled in a quiet residential area but is only a short 10 minute walk to the main strip. My recent stay was nothing short of exceptional. Our party was made up of 8 adults and 6 children and when booking we were drawn in by the swimming pool, hot tub and pool table hoping the villa would provide an unforgettable getaway—and it certainly delivered. The highlight was undoubtedly the great saltwater swimming pool. I had not enjoyed such a pool before but found it to be much better than a heavily chlorinated pool. It was also the perfect depth for the adults and kids with ample sunbeds surrounding the pool all of which caught the sun all day. In addition to the delightful swimming pool, the hot tub became my favorite spot to unwind after a long day when the temperatures cooled a little in the evening. The pool table was also a fantastic touch which provided endless entertainment to us all. The pool table is detached from the swimming pool so it allowed the adults a short break from the kids. Just a perfect set up really. The interior of the villa was spotlessly clean on arrival and had all amenities one would want albeit with the weather we didn't spend much time indoors. When eating in we ate at the giant outdoor table everyday and enjoyed the builtin BBQ on several evenings. If eating out I would highly recommend Antonio's Restaurant which is a mere one minute walk from the villa. A little more expensive than the local norm but worth every penny. I can't recommend this villa enough and I've no doubt we will all book a return for another holiday sometime soon.
