Description

The villa is located on the popular Monte de los Almendros urbanisation. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a fantastic open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area leading out to the private pool terrace. The pool can be heated in the winter at an additional cost of 100 euros per week.
The kitchen is fully equipped should you want to dine in, and BBQ equipment is provided for those balmy evenings lazing on the outdoor sofas.
The villa is spacious, light and airy with spectacular views. There are two good sized double bedrooms and one twin bedroom with two modern shower rooms (master is ensuite). There is plenty of space in the master bedroom to accommodate a cot for babies.
The villa is next to the fantastic communal amenities - 25 meter swimming pool, childrens pool, tennis court, football pitch & play areas. This area also enjoys lawned gardens with shaded seating area ,sun shades and showers. There is also a fantastic little tapas bar for when you don't want to stray too far for a drink or a casual meal. The spectacular views will take your breath away, with the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevadas down to the Mediterranean and the lovely town of Salobrena with its medieval castle beautifully lit at night.
It's just a short drive to the lovely spanish town of Salobrena, which has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Further afield, Motril, Almunecar, Nerja and Granada are within easy drives should you wish to find more shopping, culture and gastronomy.
The ski slopes are an hour away with a good long snow season from November to May. The local area is renowned for its walking, hiking and cycling routes. There are some beautiful villages set within the Alpujarras, with breathtaking scenery through the valleys to the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas.

Note - Helene and Ian, the owners of the property, live in an apartment below the main property with their friendly dog Millie. They do not enter the villa unless invited but are on hand to answer any questions and provide assistance when needed.
