Description
The Almond Tree is the purpose-built holiday home that we had built in North East Corfu in 2008. It is within a 15 minute walk to Agni Beach. With one double and two twin bedrooms, the house sleeps six comfortably and has two en-suite and one separate bathroom. Downstairs the house has a large open plan living and dining area, including a fully fitted and equipped kitchen. It is both fully air conditioned and centrally heated, so that you can enjoy the room temperature that suits you best. Outside, the house has a large (9m x 4m) fully serviced swimming pool with heating for low season periods, it has a lockable gate so the little ones are kept safe. There are several large verandas with seating, separate patio areas and a BBQ for you to use. The Almond Tree offers an outstanding view over the old village out to the sea (Corfu Channel) and the Albanian coast. It’s a very peaceful location, with plenty of areas of shade for you to escape to if the Mediterranean sun is not your cup of tea!Since opening the villa for rent in we have had 80 reviews of the property all of them have been 5 stars.

By Caroline on 17-Oct-2026Wonderful, spacious, modern Villa that had everything we needed. Views , terraces, pool all perfect. The trek down to Agni Bay isn't as long as we first thought and we enjoyed the easy walking around to many more bays with crystal clear water for snorkeling. A car is really necessary to get shopping and go anywhere else. We were here October 10th to 17th. Tavernas at Agni closed at the start of this week although some on the main road were still open and all in Kalami 15 minutes away were open. The upside at this time of year was empty beaches all to ourselves. We would highly recommend this accommodation. Communication with Andrew the owner before and during the holiday was excellent. What a wonderful Discovery
By Aude H. on 06-Aug-2026What a wonderful discovery these 15 days at the Almond Tree have been! Andrew and Catrina, thank you so much. Your house is truly exceptional, and what a view! Certainly one of the most beautiful among all the many holiday properties we have rented. The swimming pool, with its surrounding terraces from which to admire the evening sunsets, was just magical. Not to mention the beautiful turquoise sea below, despite the jellyfish! We are taking home some wonderful memories. Don't hesitate to take the ferries directly from the port of Corfu to Paxos (and Antipaxos too), or to Albania (the port of Butrint or elsewhere), even just for a day trip. We had already booked an evening in Agni Bay on 16 August, with the opportunity to enjoy some wonderful swimming and visit all the little coves. And also, as on other holidays, the wonderful Taverna Nikolas in Agni, and Dimitri's. This evening, to finish in style, we're going to Bougiès, which is magnificent. On the beach side, it's also possible to walk to Kalami from Agni at the end of the day, after a little pause along the way, enjoying the shade or sunshine and perhaps a quiet swim. The path passes close to the Durrells' house. What wonderful holidays, with the Greeks always so kind and welcoming, and cuisine that delights us. Many thanks to you, Isabelle, Lucie and Axel. P.S. And also, for evenings with board games, even Scrabble in English, with lots of W's and Y's — great fun and plenty of laughter!!!

Great location on the the North East coast, close to Kassiopi and a number of beautiful small bays along the coast. The closest is Agni beach which is 5 minutes in a car or approximately a 30 minute walk, albeit down a steep rocky path to the bay.

The location was convenient for touring other areas of the island, a rental car is recommended. The villa was stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay and communication with the owners was great. It was our home away from home and would not hesitate to visit again!
