Beautiful peaceful cottage
By Yvonne on 01-Sep-2026Beautiful peaceful cottage. So private. Set on many different levels amongst ancient olive trees. 45 steps from the car to the cottage. Several places to eat in the nearby villages. All good. PICNIC for earlier in the day especially Would return in an instant
What a find! This place really exceeded our expectations
By Katie on 01-Aug-2026What a find! This place really exceeded our expectations - the outside space is phenomenal. At the end of a dusty lane, you enter through a private gated drive with parking for 2-3 cars. The next level up is the pool, which has a white shady structure with comfy seating, 2 sunbeds and a table, as well as a patio spot in the sun for another 2 sunbeds. The top terrace is the property - from the door, you walk out to a fantastic deck with outdoor sofas and views over the forests, mountains and seas. The perfect sunset spot! It is very quiet and completely private. Inside is wonderful too, everything you need and comfortable beds, plus a lovely welcome package of bread, jam, milk and delicious wine. Antipata looks like a long walk but actually can be accessed in 5 mins through a gate at the top of the garden, with 2 restaurants (both good but the Old Stone House offers an extensive menu) and a small shop. Fiskardo & many coves are 10-15 mins drive. Thanks for a great stay!

The location is very rural and would highly recommend hiring a car to get there, but absolutely worth it as once you arrive you are greeted by the private pool. Once you reach the cottage there is an abundance of outdoor space; from the terrace to multiple other seating areas and sofas. Inside the property it feels so traditional but with all the modern aspects you need including a mini kitchen. The bed was comfy, air con amazing and bathroom contained everything you needed. There is a little path from the back gate which takes you (albeit rather overgrown) into antipata whete there are two fab restaurants and a village shop. It is also easily walkable to Dafnoudi beach and Fiscardo if needed.
Wonderful time at Fig Cottage
By Lori and Andy on 02-Jul-2026We had a wonderful time in Fig Cottage. Everything was perfect, the cottage had all we needed and Raphaella even sorted out a cafetiere for us. We loved the cottage design with the elegant and stylish polished plaster. The bed was really comfy, The bathroom a delight and the kitchen had all we required for cooking. For such a small house the layout is fabulous. The outdoor space was like a dream for us, we floated from space to space as the cute little cat followed us around. The pool at the bottom of the garden was fabulous, better than being by the house in our opinion, it made it more relaxing being in the middle of nature, we loved it. The evening sun from the deck was a delight along with the distant sea view. We had dinner in Chrysafis restaurant one night, it was a super meal, lovely breeze and people, we highly recommend the restaurant. Fiscardo was too hot and busy for me to really enjoy eating there, we ate in the cottage a few nights and chilled.
A small paradise
