Description
Formerly known as Villa Mema, the property has been renamed Villa Angali and is now under new ownership. We warmly invite our loyal and future guests to enjoy a unique and memorable stay in beautiful Agia Efimia.Villa Angali begins this summer an exciting new chapter. The team is dedicated to offering an elevated holiday experience, combining comfort, style, and authentic Kefalonian hospitality.
The secluded and elevated position of the property makes the villa to a truly magical place for your holidays. Breathtaking views from every corner of the house across the bay of Agia Efimia, the Ionian Sea and the neighbour-island of Ithaca. Just a breath away from the centre of the village and all its entertainment facilities but still a peaceful and tranquil location offering a lot of privacy. All amenities (shops, restaurants, cafés, beaches) are within easy walking distance (5-10) min from the villa. No car rental is necessary except for exploring the island.
The living space of 110 m² is arranged over 2 levels. On the ground floor, there is a well-designed spacious living room with sofa bed (sleeping one more guest), air-conditioning, an open-plan dining kitchen and a bathroom with shower, WC. A timber staircase leads to the upper floor: here are 2 bedrooms (one with double bed and one with twins), with air-conditioning, balconies with superb views over the bay of Agia Efimia and a bathroom with a small bathtub, WC and hairdryer.
Outside, there is a large terrace offering privacy and amazing views to the harbour of Agia Efimia and the sea. The pool terrace is equipped with 4 relaxing sun beds. Pool and front terraces are surrounded by different patios with shaded relaxing areas and decorated with a variety of lovely Mediterranean flowers such as oleanders, hibiscus, jasmines, roses.

Perfect Holiday
By Samantha on 25-Jul-2026We stayed at the villa for a week in July and would highly recommend it. We travelled as a family with our 5-year-old, and both the villa and the surrounding area felt incredibly safe. The pool is a decent size and was perfect for cooling down on the hot days. Agia Efimia is a wonderful seaside village, with a handful of lovely restaurants and bars to keep you entertained in the evenings. That said, the villa’s kitchen is well equipped with everything you need if you prefer to stay in and cook. There are also plenty of different outdoor seating areas, making it easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea views. Overall, we had a perfect holiday and would absolutely love to return. We highly recommend the villa!

Lovely holiday

The villa was everything we hoped for, stunning views from the terrace, lots of outside space to sit, eat or sunbathe and comfortable accommodation with much appreciated air conditioning throughout. The beds were very comfortable and the 2 shower rooms were very useful. Mid week cleaning was very thorough and the pool was unobtrusively maintained throughout our holiday. At first we were a little concerned that the hill down to the village may be a bit steep for my husband to manage with his walking frame but it was fine, definitely worth it for the view. Everything was provided for us to have a stress free stay, with Lambrini and Georgia always at hand if we needed them. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and would love to stay again in the future.

Our One week holiday
By Paul Clewlow on 15-May-2026The Villa is immaculate, very clean and with every thing you could want for. top quality furniture and fittings. So close to a lot of tavernas, you hardly need a car unless venturing further afield. I give a special recommendation for the Cielo taverna on the corner in the main square where the food is so fresh and cooked to order, we had breakfast there on 4 mornings. Full of locals which is always a good sign. The only adverse comment regarding the property is that it would benefit from a book setting out the wi-fi code and where everything is stored. We only found the mosquito plugs and the coffee machine (at the bottom of the kitchen cupboard) on the last day, but this was a minor point.

A Beautiful Villa in a Beautiful Location
By Carolyn Vieira on 10-Aug-2025When we pulled up to Villa Mema that first night we were taken aback at just how beautiful it was with all the pretty lights and the view of the beautiful lit up harbour. The Villa is secluded but within easy walk of the quaint, authentic, pretty village which has beautiful restaurants and bars. Mema was a wonderful hostess; she met us on arrival and was so warm and friendly. She had left us some groceries which was very welcome. The villa had everything we needed and the air con was much needed. Lida at Kefalonia Holiday Homes was marvellous during the months to the lead up of our holiday. She was in touch helping us with enquiries and making sure everything was in place. It was great to have that communication and personal touch. We will definitely return to Villa Mema. Our friends and family who saw the photos have asked us for the details as they want to go. Thank you all for making our holiday a wonderful & memorable one!

Fantastic Villa
