Most amazing stay, spotless & well equipped!
By Munday on 08-Aug-2026We had the most amazing stay at The Walnut Tree Villa. The villa is spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need to just relax by the pool and enjoy the seclusion. Sami is only a few minutes away, with its lovely waterfront restaurants - we were spoilt for choice! We also visited Antisamos Beach, Melissani Lake and Drogarati Cave, all within an easy drive from the villa. We would love to visit again and would highly recommend The Walnut Tree Villa.
2nd year at the Walnut Tree!
By Stevens on 24-Jun-2026Our second year at the Walnut Tree and it didn’t disappoint!! We love the privacy of the villa and how quiet it is. Highly recommend the 30 min trip to Ithaka, must do it if you have a car. Go explore! or rent a boat (Kefalonia Compass) to go swimming at spots inaccessible by car.

Absolutely brilliant accommodation, with plenty of room for all, inside the roomy central areas and also the bedrooms. Facilities were great with the pool and all the added rings and lilos to use made it so much fun for the children (of all ages). Grounds of the villa were lovely to explore with the grandchildren and the bbq area was really handy too! Location is so secluded and you don’t see or hear anyone. Ideal spot to explore the entire island and will defo try to get over there again! Would recommend this villa to anyone, faultless!!!

Multi-Generational family holiday - Amazing!

We were a multi generational group of 10 and loved the space, the pool, the grounds and the great combination of rural tranquility with the convenience of a very short drive to Sami with all the facilities and services you need. Having stayed in many villas over the years this has to be the best equipped I have ever experienced. All you need is provided, from the big things such as a well equipped kitchen, large BBQ, lots of sunbeds, a top notch table tennis table, air conditioning etc... through to some lovely small touches such as UK adapter plugs and a cupboard full of games, pool toys, masks, snorkels and beach shoes! Pool/beach towels were also provided. Highly recommended for groups seeking a fun filled holiday...
