This villa offers stunning views of the Ionian Sea, the Greek mainland and mountains, Zakynthos and beyond. Surrounded by lush greenery and the scenic hills of Kefalonia, it gives guests an authentic and peaceful Greek island experience.

**Villa overview**
The spacious open-plan villa has air conditioning, heating and fly screens throughout, and is comfortably furnished and well equipped for a couple or a large family. Extras include free unlimited Wi-Fi, UK TV, a Bluetooth speaker, badminton and tennis rackets, a games, DVD, CD and book library, Egyptian cotton bedding, a cool box, loungers and XL indoor and outdoor sofas. A private chef, daily housekeeping service, massage and beauty treatments, chauffeur service and grocery delivery are available on request and payable locally.
**Bedrooms and sleeping arrangements**
The villa comfortably sleeps 6, in 3 sea-view ensuite bedrooms, all a similar size. A baby or infant can be accommodated in a travel cot on request (subject to an extra linen fee if more than 6 guests). A high chair and stair gate can also be provided on request.

Bedroom 1 - Ground floor, king-size bed, ensuite bathroom with large walk-in shower, double patio doors leading onto the pool terrace, panoramic sea views.

**Pool and outdoor living**
The infinity sea views from the private pool are stunning. The large floodlit pool has walk-in steps, submerged seating and hydro-massage jets. It measures 13m x 5m, with a depth of 0.6m to 1.9m, making it perfect for swimming laps as well as giving children plenty of room to play and swim.
Outside, a large shady covered terrace creates an inviting space for outdoor living, dining and snoozing. There is a dining suite, two large sofas and chairs for relaxing and escaping the midday heat, while a large balcony and huge sunny patio with loungers and parasols give everyone space to unwind.

**Location and nearby beaches**
Located in South East Kefalonia, near Skala, Katelios and Poros, the villa sits in a beautiful area with mountain and beach views. Guests can enjoy lots of walking and cycling trails and a great choice of beaches, from quiet Kaminia and Mounda turtle beach to Skala’s 3km sandy beach and the delightful little coves at Porto Skala and Pelagos Bay.

**Currency and payment information**
All rental prices for Villa Ambelonas are set and paid in euros (€).
Because the villa is located in Greece, Greek tax regulations require all rental income to be received into our Greek bank account.
**How payments work**
- All payments must be made in euros (€).
- A booking is confirmed once the deposit in euros has been received.
- The balance is payable in euros by bank transfer.
- Your bank will handle any currency conversion automatically and set the exchange rate at the time you make the payment.
**Why Euros?**
Greek law requires short-term rental income to be received and declared in Greece. Pricing in euros ensures full compliance and avoids discrepancies caused by fluctuating exchange rates.
Your bank or card provider sets the exchange rate at the moment you make the payment. We do not apply any additional fees or adjustments.

Pets, on-site parties and group events are not permitted.

As of the 2026 season, we have taken over this beautiful villa from Irene and Rob. It took a long time, but we fell in love with the view and were willing to wait. We intend to maintain the high standards Irene and Rob set, and we look forward to welcoming returning guests as well as greeting new ones.

Saturday is our preferred changeover day, but as there are flights from the UK to Kefalonia on most days of the week we are open to alternative arrival days, subject to availability.
