Description
Villa Paparouna is hidden away off the Boikatika lane from Magazia to the Erimitis Cliffs and is within easy walking distance of both. It is set within extensive private grounds of which a considerable area has been 2beautifully landscaped to take advantage of the different levels the villa is situated in and the natural lines of rock that once formed the terraced gardens of the house. There are many colourful and interesting plants to be found.The private grounds incorporate a 10 by 5 metre infinity pool surrounded by a stone terrace that offers breath taking views of the Cyprus forest overlooking the rugged West Coast down to the horseshoe bay of Ahai just above the famous blue caves. On clear days the southern islands of Lefkas and Cephalonia are visible.

The villa is built on two levels and has many areas to enjoy both sun and shade in privacy. The upstairs terrace leads out to a large partly–shaded terrace that has a flight of stone steps leading down to the pool. There is a large Pergola that has been built to provide both shade and tranquillity and offers a relaxing place to sit adjacent to both the pool and Barbeque area.

Location fantastic for getting to all points on the island (particularly for breakfast at Averto or sunset drinks at Eremitis!) Would thoroughly recommend it on all counts.

The villa is just over a half mile of easy walking to the village with great restaurants, a bakery, pharmacy, kafenion & mini mart. A car is necessary for visiting all that Paxos has to offer

A quiet retreat in a fabulous location.
By Daniel H. on 06-Jun-2015Our party of six arrived at Villa Paparouna and were extremeley pleased with the Villa, facilities and location. The villa is located on a quiet road away from everthing and has a pool that is cleaned reguarly. All the rooms are very spacious and have en-suite bathrooms that were larger than we expected. The kitchen is adequate and has a dishwasher. The view from the Villa is outstanding and in the evenings the BBQ can be used after buying fresh produce from Giaos. The property was well maintained with excellent Wi-fi and all bedrooms were cleaned twice during our stay and towels changed. There are several restaurants nearby with superb views and the local Erimitis beach which is a jewel to have so close to the Villa. If you want a quiet getaway then this is the place. Many thanks to Chris Wilkinson and all the people who look after Villa Paparouna for a most wounderful stay. Daniel, Emma, Phil, Charlotte, Louise and Mahmoud.
Beautiful house in a superb location!
By Julian K. on 20-Jul-2019We loved our stay at Paparouna. The house was perfect for the three adults and three young children and was Very clean throughout and well equipped. The secluded location was a bonus with easy access to Gaios, Longos and Lakka.
