This Greek island villa is named after the falcons that swoop over it, situated in gorgeous countryside near the picturesque hill village of Glossa. Its secluded location is private, despite its proximity to the beaches, the port, the Mamma Mia church and the village itself, and the villa is not overlooked.
The mesmerizing panoramic view takes in the islands of Evia, Skiathos and the Pelion and away to the mainland, as far as Mt Parnassus and closer to home down to the village of Glossa and its port of Loutraki.
The villa itself is built by hand in the traditional style of the island, with vaulted open-beamed ceilings of local chestnut and pine, wooden balconies and tiled roofs, complemented by a modern clean touch and up-to-date fittings and equipment. The interior comprises of eclectic furniture and antiques.
The main bedroom has a super king size double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The view through double doors looks out over the garden and beyond over the Aegean Sea. The terrace outside leads to the garden and there are seats and a table there offering another place to relax. This light and airy room is decorated with paintings and it has a painted wooden ceiling. There is a full length mirror and plenty of storage space for clothes and suitcases.
Bathing towels are also provided.
For the hot season there is air conditioning.
The second bedroom has a double door styled on the traditional island design. It has two single beds that can be adjoined to make a super king size bed. It is colourful, light and airy with a painted wooden ceiling.
This bedroom also shares a similar view to the main bedroom and also has double doors leading out to a terrace with a great view to wake up to. The wardrobe is has ample space and there is also a full length mirror and air conditioning.
There is a fold up chair and extra mattress available for a fifth person, this arrangement is suitable for a teen or younger and can fit into the twin bedroom.
Both bathrooms have good showers with marble finishes, toilets and basins set in teak. Complete with White company towels, soap and heated towel rails.
Well appointed, airy kitchen and living area with views to the swimming pool and the sea. It has access to the extensive covered veranda and yard. The equipment includes electric cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, hard wood work surfaces, double sink & good quality utensils.
The living is on the 1st floor, and opens up to the extensive balcony. Open plan, with an attractive open wooden ceiling, it is well appointed with a fireplace, air conditioning and wifi and comfortable furnishings. It opens onto the veranda at the front of the house and the yard at the rear.
The utility room is located downstairs and home to the heating system, washing machines, freezer, cool boxes, ironing board, drying rack and first aid cabinet.
There are lots of outside spaces to choose from whether it is for sunbathing or for shade. Outside the house has been specifically designed to offer guests the maximum benefit of outdoor living. On one side of the living area there are the double doors on to the large and wide hard wood balcony, on the other side of the living area is the the main entrance into the villa from the lavender and citrus tree lined yard. this are is covered with a chestnut pergola that has jasmine covering a portion of it at one end and straw matting over the dining area for shade. There are large double doors at one end that open up to the area where the vehicles can be parked. this enclosed yard makes for yet another cosy and intimate area, it is also complete with the outside kitchen and BBQ.
The private swimming pool which measures 8x4m looks out over the bay. It is located at the side of the villa on a split level. It has steps leading into it and a shallow and deep end. This area is fully Illuminated with switches at either end of the area. There are wooden sun beds, low tables, umbrellas and a large cushioned bench. There is an outside shower at the far end of this area and next to it stone steps that lead up to the terrace above. The pool area is enclosed tastefully by railings, with a latched gate to restrict access by underage children.
The property extends to 7355 square meters and is set out in terraces, gardens and trees, so providing guests with privacy and space.
The hard wood veranda runs along two sides of the villa and faces south west. The front veranda measures 3m wide x 9m long it provides a perfect space to entertain and dine alfresco whilst taking in the stunning view over Loutraki harbour and the bay beyond.
The yard at the rear of the villa is next to the barbecue. This is the main entrance to the villa from the car park area. Large double doors open onto this area with its shaded pergola and dining area that allow for a cool and relaxed dining alternative when the sun is at its zenith.
All linen, house towels and bathing/beach towels are included.
The property is cleaned once a week, more if required for a small additional charge.
The pool is maintained every two to three days to ensure that it is in good condition.
Due to the situation of the property on the apex of a hill, and the steep slopes around the house, it is not suitable for wheelchair users, or indeed people with mobility difficulties. There are stairs inside and outside as it is a two floor villa. This is worth taking in to consideration if you are not accustomed to stairs.
Car hire is necessary in order to get around and to explore. I can recommend a local car hire family run company which will deliver the car to the port of your arrival and collect from your departure port.
On arriving you will also be met and brought to the villa where you will be welcomed and shown around.
The closest airport Skiathos (JSI) is on the next island closer to the mainland. A transfer taxi from the airport to the port takes five minutes. there are a number of ferry operators here and tickets can be pre booked online. There are Sea taxis which are useful to avoid waiting if necessary, this can be pre booked easily on their website. The crossing time is 15 minutes in the taxi and hydrofoil or 30 minutes on the conventional ferry.
The other options are to fly to Thessaloniki and then take a ferry to Skopelos town, this is available during the summer season months only. Or to fly to Athens and take a connecting flight to Skiathos. Sometimes the airport in Volos is also operating.
I can help and advice on travel arrangements. I look forward to hearing from you!

What a beautiful place
By Billie Yu on 13-Oct-2026What a beautiful place—a lovely surprise! The scenery is stunning, and the rooms are beautifully furnished and well equipped. Each room opens directly onto the courtyard and has air conditioning. The swimming pool is wonderful too. A lovely place to relax and enjoy the surroundings!
We had a wonderful time…
By Florian on 07-Aug-2026We had a wonderful time with the family. This house is perfect for exploring the island of Skopelos. We were able to watch a wonderful sunset, and the nearby village is charming with a supermarket and great restaurants. Thanks to Shane for his advice. We loved this island and will definitely be back.
Wow!
By Rebecca on 30-Jun-2026Wow! The most incredible place on the best island! The views, land and villa are even more breathtaking than the pictures. We could not have enjoyed our time more, between waking up and opening the French doors to a gorgeous morning sun, wondering and exploring the gardens and watching the sunset from the pool deck, this place is absolute magic From the moment we stepped off the ferry everything was perfectly coordinated to get us to our destination and set up to enjoy our time in this charming villa. We loved exploring the island and wondering the village of Glossa, eating with the locals at amazing restaurants near by. This was by far our favorite part and place of our 10 day trip to Greece, we would love to come back someday and do it all again!
Villa Eleonorae
By Mariah on 15-Sep-2025Words cannot describe the sensational experience of Villa Eleonorae. It is so charming and peaceful in its elegant simplicity, fully embraced by the natural world from every view and angle, with an incredible vista of the sea and sunset. The property is very well maintained, the pool clean and pristine, and the house well equipped for cooking, relaxing and sleeping well. We enjoyed the added adventure of the step narrow road, which does absolutely require a rugged vehicle and fearless confident driver. We can't wait to visit again!
A fabulous villa
By Tamzin Johnston on 10-Jul-2025A fabulous villa in the most serene and peaceful location. The villa is very well equipped with an indoor and outdoor kitchen, a huge bbq space, a beautiful pool and lovely sun beds & hammocks to relax in. Very comfortable beds, immaculately cleaned and with two lovely ladies available should you require anything. Beautiful island and insane views and sunsets from the villa. Such a special place to stay, I cannot recommend this slice of tranquility highly enough!
A dream!
By Anne on 21-Aug-2025Family trip of 8 days with our daughter now living on the other side of the world. The place was perfect to meet up and spend real quality moments surrounded by beauty and calm. This house, even if it is not very large, seems to correspond quite well to a certain vision that we could have of paradise or a certain idea of happiness:) The relationship to space, materials and nature is simply exceptional. Our contemplative inclination was largely satisfied. Each opening seems to be thought of as an accurate framing of the outside which in fact seems to widen the space and sometimes made us feel like a plural house. Added to this the different levels and openings allowing quite creative and playful internal and outdoor travel;) It's been a long time since a place gave us so many sensory and aesthetic emotions. A dream! We left rested but with a tight heart...
