Within 5 minutes drive of The National Memorial Arboretum and Alrewas Hayes wedding venue. Offering beautiful tow path & country walks, cycle paths and a pleasant stroll to local amenities - pubs, shops, coffee shop, takeaways, post office, pharmacy, doctors surgery etc

Alrewas is a beautiful old village, steeped in history as can be seen by it's many old cottages and Mill building. The canal meanders through the centre of the village and offers beautiful, relaxing walks and long cycle paths - for as far as you choose to explore. Ideally situated for visitors attending The National Memorial Arboretum or Alrewas Hayes. We also have Catton Hall, Lichfield Cathedral and many local attractions on our doorstep. The village plays host to many narrow boaters, travelling from far and wide, who choose to return to this beautiful spot time and time again.

In addition to having a lovely community it has practically everything you could want during your stay - an award winning butchers, 3 pubs, a lovely cafe, a Coop, a post office, a chip shop, chinese takeaway and an Indian restaurant - all within easy walking distance.

Fantastic barn/location

We had a fantastic long stay over several weeks at the Canal side Barn in Alrewas. Nothing was too much trouble for Rachel, who looked after us 110%. The barn is well kept/clean through out and everything is of a very high standard. It was like home from home.
