Brilliant stay

Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home, we enjoyed every minute. Gwendon is a beautifully decorated bungalow, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, like home from home. With a large enclosed garden for our dogs. Almwch has a lovely port & is a great base for you to explore Anglesey . Our dogs Ralf & Lola had a great time at copper kingdom Parys Mountain & running around on the beaches of Treaddur Bay, Rhosneigr, Red Wharf Bay. We ate some delicious food at Lastra Farm, Adelph Voults, Finley’s chippy, Sea Shanty cafe, Oystercatchers . The bungalow was perfect & we made some great memories with our Grandson Charlie. We hope to visit again soon. Gaynor, John, Shane, Amy & Charlie. X Ralf & Lola

A luxurious yet homely cottage in a great location

By Leesa Clarke on 08-Feb-2024

A luxurious yet homely cottage in a great location. The most dog friendly place we have ever stayed in and Anglesey has loads of dog friendly beaches and pubs. Great location to explore North Wales and loads of attractions for all ages within an hours drive. Local town which is walkable has a large co op that stocks just about everything and a wonderful Indian that delivers. The house is very well equipped I even managed to cook a roast beef dinner for 6 in the Ninja can recommend the ready to heat Yorkshire puddings from the co op too. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and Ged provided the details as I want to replace mine with one the same! We visited at the beginning of Feb and had some lovely walks along the coastal paths and beaches just wrapped up warm as quite windy. The beach at Lligwy is probably one of the closest and is a huge wide expanse of sand and rock pools. We are looking forward to returning to Gwendon in the future it really is a home from home.

We had a wonderful time at Gwendon. Really well thought out comfortable and stylish property. Our dogs loved the garden. Right on the coast the views are outstanding. Highly recommended.

We have just stayed at Gwendon for the week. The house is beautiful! It was very relaxing, and there was everything you needed for a real home from home environment. The garden is wonderful and spacious - especially for our 3 dogs. Ged & Neil are really the perfect hosts. They are friendly and approachable at all times. They went to great lengths, prior to our stay, to ensure we had all the information we needed through their digital guide app, which was great! Ged also phoned prior to our stay to talk us through anything that we needed to know, which was reassuring and encouraging. Gwendon is a great place to stay - only 15 mins away from Lligwy Beach. Ideal for our furry companions. All in all, I couldn''t recommend this property highly enough and we will certainly be back for another visit!

Absolutely stunning bungalow in a lovely place. Ged and Neil have thought of everything, it truly is home from home. They knew we were celebrating my mums 60th and they bought her flowers and a balloon. Can’t wait to come back.
