Welcome to Gwendon, a Scandi-inspired stylish contemporary 3-bedroom detached bungalow in a semi-rural peaceful setting, yet within walking distance of the historic industrial town of Amlwch. Boasting magnificent views of the Irish Sea to the front and views over Bull Bay from the garden top patio, the cottage provides a quiet luxury retreat to get away from it all, yet only a stroll away from the Anglesey Coastal Path, with access to a stunning small sandy cove at low tide, with tropical coloured waters … (shhh, we don’t want everyone to know this).

At a glance:
* 3 night weekends / 4 night weekdays (min 7 nights in peak seasons)
* Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms.
* Pet-friendly - we accept 2 well-behaved dogs. More by agreement.
* Large enclosed south-facing back garden.
* Free WiFi
* Off-road parking for 2/3 cars
* EV charging point.

Why Stay Here?
Offering breathtaking sea views in a peaceful quiet cul-de-sac yet within easy access to the town & port’s shops, bars & restaurants, you’ll feel right at home in this spacious Scandi-inspired setting. We love dogs and have two of our own, so we welcome a couple of well-behaved dogs (contact us if you have more than two pets or large animals and we’ll try our best to accommodate). The coastal path is a stone’s throw away, with lovely walks straight from the door. Own an electric vehicle? We’ve got you covered, with a Type 2 7kWh EV charger.

Close to the main A5025, it’s ideally situated within 30-40 minutes drive to anywhere on this beautiful Isle, making it an ideal base to explore Anglesey and North Wales.

We''ve just spent a lovely week at Gwendon with our two pups. It was like home from home. Definitely the best holiday home we have ever stayed in. The house has absolutely everything you need. The garden is massive and beautiful. The dogs loved it. You could actually see the sea from the front room and you definitely feel relaxed and rejuvenated after a week at Gwendon. The village is near with a Co-op that has everything you need. A great fish and chip shop and kebab place. A couple of pubs where everyone you meet is friendly and welcoming. It was great to have the app to keep referring too as it gives you lots of information about the house and the area. Both Ged and Neil have made the perfect hosts. We''ve never been to Anglesey before but Ged told me lots of beaches and places to go to whilst we were there. She''s always on the other side of the phone if you need her. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for the perfect break ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely holiday cottage

Lovely holiday cottage on the fab island of Anglesey. We are regular cottage users and pleased to say Gwendon had everything you will need which isn’t always the case in our experience. The cottage had everything you would expect including WiFi that worked and central heating you could control and a smart TV with all the apps you would need. Though we didn’t have a dog with us it’s well set up for your fur friends. Everything was sent to you ahead of time with really great communication from the owners and all delivered in a handy app on your phone. Local Coop was close buy and a great fish and chip shop. The coastal walk was easy to get to. All in all a great cottage with everything you would need.
