Sandy beaches and the popular seaside town of Looe are within a 20 minute drive. Both the picturesque, estuary town of Fowey and the world famous delights of The Eden Project are within a 30 minute drive. Beautiful walks abound in the vicinity and if you’re a keen cyclist you should pay a visit to Cardinham Woods where some great cycle trails await you. Thank you for a wonderful Cornish holiday! We've enjoyed the beautiful Thatch view cottage very much. So clean and comfy we felt very comfy and felt very much at home! Crows Nest Inn not to be missed and the Padstow coastlines are amazing! Thank you for sharing the cottage with us

We felt very comfortable in this small house. Everything is very lovely and decorated with nice details. I like the country kitchen the best! It is a super nice retreat, in touristy Cornwall. The housekeeper Coral is very helpful, nice and helpful. Likewise the neighbors. It feels like home. It is a good starting point to visit all the major attractions in Cornwall

We have spent two wonderful weeks in the lovely cottage. We fit in comfortable and at home. We explored whole Cornwall: We visited Eden and Lanhydrock- very nice! Various villages and towns, St. Ives (hence the magnet!) Polperro, Fowey, St. Agnes, Tintagel, Porthleveren, Mevagissey, Newquay, Port Issca and Truro. Our favourite beaches are Crackington Haven (near bude), Crantock beach and Porthkerris... We enjoyed a nice lunch in Bowgie Inn. Thank you for the welcome hamper. Coral was vert nice to us, as were the next door neighbours. Wonderful heatwave for us in Cornwall

So glad we found this place, great property in a great location! Looe is just a short drive away. We really enjoyed cycling from Wadebridge to Padstow. A massive thank you to Coral for sharing your home. We look forward to a visit next year!

This is a beautifully appointed cottage in a great location.
This cottage is ideally located because it offers easy access to both the north and south coasts of this part of Cornwall, as well as Bodmin Moor. It is also extremely easy to find being located 5 minutes from the A390 in the peaceful hamlet of Trevelmond.
The cottage itself is a traditional Cornish Cottage, that has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Situated at the end of a quiet row of cottages, it also offers private parking and outdoor areas to enjoy. Over the years we have stayed in many cottages within a few miles of this one and Thatch View, on any measure is superior to anything we have stayed in.
The owners have created a real home from home - we were wowed from the first moment. It is also pet friendly - evidenced by the fact that they are catered for in the wonderful welcome hamper!

We have spent an active few days exploring beautiful Cornwall from the base at Thatch view. The weather was superb so we have spent time at the beach (plenty of dog friendly ones to be found). We visited the Eden Project which was quite spectacular. One day was spent walking on the coastal path with a circular walk starting and finishing at Garran Haven. Polperro, Looe, Fowey and Port Issca (Doc Martins county). The house was superbly equipped, spotless clean and comfortable. Thanks Coral. Would love to come back! Welcome hamper much appreciated also! Another magnet for the collection too

What a privilege to be the first 'official' guests at Thatch View cottage and share our feedback on what has been a fantastic holiday!!! Patrick, Hilary and family- you have created something really special here! We fell in love with the property as soon as we walked in and the welcome hamper was such a great touch! Thank you. Weather was on our side for the entire week. Padstow, Fowey, Charlestown, Falmouth and Port Issac. We like our walks so totally recommend the costal walk between Looe and Polperro. The views are stunning, plus you can catch a small ferry back to save your feet. Polzeath to Padstow was another coastal walk we'd highly advise and the chip shop on the front harbour is much cheaper and better than Rick Steins. We leave today with some great memories of a great holiday and we are unanimous agreement that Thatch view has been the best of the best for us. We have left a small gift by the fridge to mark the occasion of your first guests. I am sure many more will follow- including the fridge magnets. Many thanks in your part for delivering and memorable and relaxing holiday and we look forward to booking again.
