Stayed at York Lodge West in July 2023. What a location! Possibly the best holiday accommodation we''''ve stayed in in the UK, and we''''ve tried many. Family (including dog) thoroughly enjoyed it. The weather wasn''''t great but weather-watching across the bay from the lounge was an activity in itself. Cottage is well-equipped and the information provided beforehand about restaurants etc was really useful. For walks, Berry Head takes some beating. A lovely experience all round.
We''''ve absolutely loved staying at York Lodge West!! It was our first time staying here, booking was very easy and David was so friendly and helpful with the information about local restaurants and places. The house was beautiful, very clean and had everything you could need. The views from the house are really stunning and the pictures don''''t do it justice as it''''s so hard to capture! We really enjoyed sitting in the conservatory and the upstairs lounge in the evening and watching the gorgeous sunset. The location was perfect and so close to the town and breakwater beach, which was beautiful. We couldn''''t have asked for a better week and look forward to booking again!
