Bishop's Chapel is a beautifully converted chapel in a very nice, peaceful rural location just outside Bude. It was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with great views of farmland. The owner was quick to reply to emails and was friendly. It has lots of character and history, which we loved. We would definitely return!

Thank you so much for your kind words, Parit. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Bishops Chapel and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
Myself and 4 friends stayed at Bishops for a walking weekend, it sits down a quiet country lane about 5 miles from Bude and was perfect for our needs. We loved the quirky layout and everything about this former Methodist Chapel, the history surrounding it's existence was fascinating to read along with photographs of it's conversion in the 1980s. The lounge area is massive with stunning country and garden views, at night there is no light pollution and being a 'townie' I found this so refreshing to be able watch the sunset/stars with completely clear vision. We all loved it at Bishops, and Tracey the owner is so pleasant and helpful before, during and after our stay, she left us some lovely treats and a welcome card on our arrival, such lovely touches which make the overall stay very special and memorable. We definitely want to return again but just wish it could be for longer next time.

Thank you for your lovely review, Shelagh. It's wonderful to read that you had such a great time and loved Bishops. We too enjoy sitting in the garden and watching the stars at night - we play some atmospheric music and it's just magical. We'd love to welcome you again in the future.
This is a quirky but gorgeous and very comfortable property, everything you think you might need is provided and more besides. Off the beaten track so quiet and a great haven at the end of the day to come back to and relax, but close enough to the coast and all that this part of Cornwall has to offer. We visited in Autumn, so appreciated the roaring log burner, but the garden and patio look like they would be equally welcoming in the summer. Highly recommended.
