Description

Scandinavian-style wooden cabin situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the popular woodland site of Penlan Holiday Village, just outside Cenarth, famous for it's beautiful waterfalls. With 2 bedrooms - sleeping four, a well-appointed kitchen and a spacious open plan lounge, this dog-friendly cabin is a perfect place to get away for some tranquility & a general reset. Spend your early morning drinking a coffee in the Egg chair on the deck, or the evening toasting marshmallows in the chimenea as the evening sun warms the sky. If you do need to keep in touch with the office, or just stream entertainment on the inclusive Netflix account, Starlink internet access gives arguably the fastest Internet connection in the area. The cabin is one of the few on site that has a bath as well as an electric shower. The holiday park benefits from a heated swimming pool, a children's play area and dog walking field. There are multiple options for dining out within the nearby village of Cenarth, and Newcastle Emlyn (10 minute drive) and Cardigan (20 minute drive) have an even wider selection available. Cenarth Wood is literally just around the corner, with a number of scenic sylvan walks, and the boardwalk along the river at Cenarth is a beautiful walk at any time of year. Only slightly further afield, the beautiful cove at National Trust's Mwnt is great for beach, surf and coastal walks and for a more spacious beach, Poppit sands is just the other side of Cardigan. Cardigan itself has a great range of coffee shops, galleries, restaurants & bars, and on the way to Cardigan attractions like the Cilgerran castle abound.

Wonderful, charming cabin in the woods!

By Sabrina on 22-Aug-2023

I had a lovely time at this lovely little cabin. The first a noticed is that it's been wonderfully decorated with a well presented front. The facilities were great, very clean and the welcome basket was a thoughtful addition. Not a far drive to the Cenarth falls which was stunning, nice little pubs and gift shops too. Would definitely stay here again, thank you to my wonderful host Rob who was very helpful and gave some great recommendations for the duration of our stay :)

The cabin itself is clean, nice facilities and the gift basket was a nice touch. Will stay here again soon! David
