We’ve had a lovely stay for my husbands 40th birthday weekend! The cottage is wonderful and has everything you need ☺️ The only downside is the neighbours, they clearly don’t like the fact that the cottage is a holiday rental!
The most gorgeous cottage!! It is far more spacious than you can imagine from the photos and has all you can ever need. Fabulous walks for the dogs and cosy evenings by the fire. Just perfect. Can’t recommend highly enough and we will see you again in 2021 Sunrise Cottage!
We have stayed at Sunrise Cottage three times so far and it is definitely our home from home. The cottage is located in a beautiful spot and is only a 10 minute drive from Taunton meaning you are close to both the M5 and A303 if you wish to go exploring in local areas. The cottage itself is both cosy in the winter months and light and airy in the summer months, our favourite feature has got to be the fire place where we have enjoyed many cosy evenings with a glass or 2 of red. Wood for the fire is provided by the owner which is an amazing touch (we have visited many other places where you have to pay for this as an extra). Outside the back of the cottage is a beautifully kept garden equipped with a BBQ and stunning seating area which is a real sun trap on a bright day. If you enjoy walking like us, you will find lots of local walks, and just around the corner is Hestercombe Gardens where you can have a stroll around and enjoy a spot of lunch. We can''t recommend Sunrise Cottage enough and we look forward to many more enjoyable staycations there. Thank you Sunrise for being so accommodating and making our stays so comfortable
