Excellent Location & a Great Lodge

By Richard on 20-Nov-2017

Left on Nov 20, 2017 for a stay in Nov 2017
Excellent Location and a Great Lodge which was very clean and comfortable. You couldn't ask for anything more to improve your stay. Everything functioned as it should. Jennifer has thought of everything. Even the weather was kind for this time of the year. The beach, the quay, the pub, the supermarket, chip shop & Chinese takeaway are all to hand. We would not hesitate in staying here again and would recommend it to friends and family without any concerns at all. We had an absolutely great time as did Minnie, our dog, who loved the long walks on the beach.

Stayed at Harbour Lodge this week with my wife, 2 kids and a dog and had an amazing time. The Lodge is beautiful and in an amazing location, close to the harbour and Avon beach. The kids loved the onsite pool and Jennifer the owner was very helpful. Would definitely recommend it !

Harbour Lodge, a perfect place to unwind

By Ann on 13-Oct-2017

Left on Oct 13, 2017 for a stay in Oct 2017
This is our second visit to Harbour Lodge. It is spacious, comfortable, modern and spotlessly clean. Even though we visited in October, we were lucky with the weather and were still able to sit out on the terrace and watch the sun set over the sea. Booking the lodge is easy and was done at quite short notice with no problems. We have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

“Fab stay at Harbour Lodge!”

By Alex on 02-Jun-2017

Having stayed at Mudeford a fair few times, Harbour Lodge was probably one of our best stays. With 3 boys, 6, 4 and 1, the owner Jennifer was very accomodating. The lodge is extremely cosy, a home from home, loved the small touches lettuce and herbs growing outside the door, canvas prints of Mudeford on the walls all for sale, loved the beach side decor. Great food at the Noisy Lobster, crabbing every morning, beautiful sunsets and great use of the pool. All in all a lovely practical easy place to stay with kids.

“The perfect location”

By Ian on 17-May-2017

The lodge exceeded our expectations and it nis the perfect place from which to enjoy Mudeford and the wonderful beaches and harbour. The lodge was really cosy and well equipped - the owners have thought of everything so you have all the mod cons you could wish for. The water is yards away and there are lots of places to eat nearby.

We would recommend this very highly as a place to stay and are sure that future guests will be equally impressed

“Third time-speaks volumes!”

By Viv on 11-Apr-2017

How to improve on perfection? This is such a perfect weekend retreat and we hope to return again and again (not through lack of imagination either!). It's cleverly styled to be smart AND cosy with everything you could wish for.
No doubt about it - we'll be back and explore some more.

“Lovely compact, holiday home.”

By Anna on 21-Dec-2016

Very nice, compact mobile home. Bigger than expected though, didn't realise there was a bath, nice surprise. Clean and bright, need some bins in the bathrooms and bedroom. No towels provided, if you had to ask for them to be provided it wasn't clear. Otherwise, nice stay, kitchen suitably equipped. Lovely views of the Quay, would recommend this holiday home.

“Completely delightful”

By Viv on 03-Nov-2016

This was our second visit to Harbour Lodge and I'm quite sure that it will not be our last. The interior is stylish and comfortable and has everything one could possibly need, plus little extras so thoughtfully provided by the owner.
The setting is natural and the views are wonderful. Lovely walks on he beach, esplanade and nearby nature reserve.
It's just a matter of time before we are tempted to return!

“Very beside the sea!”

By Ian on 24-Apr-2016

Very straightforward to book with clear arrival instructions.

Loved the lodge, the lounge/dining/ kitchen area is really spacious and comfortable. It looks out onto the harbour, set a little back from the boundary so is not overlooked in the way that some of the properties are.

The rest of the lodge is compact with lots of storage space and *two* bathrooms! Soundproofing is very good, and it was warm even during a chilly week in April. Washer-drier very welcome.

The location is great, literally metres from the sea and harbour with a short, easy drive into the New Forest. There's a little ferry over to Hengistbury Head where the visit centre is well worth a visit - it explains the history and wildlife of the area. Binoculars are supplied if you interested in the birds on the mudflats.

We found the allocated parking a bit obstructed by a tree so parked in the visitor car park. It would be nice to have a little more space in the back instead of a second bathroom but we didn't spend that much time back there anyway.

“Beautiful Lodge, Excellent views”

By Janet on 06-Jul-2015

Absolutely loved this accommodation, it was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and the views are amazing. We were very lucky with the weather and sat on the decking to eat our meals and enjoyed a glass of wine early evening with lovely views of the harbour. There is an allocated parking space. We took a trip on the ferry across to Sandspit where all the beach huts are once you are across the water you can walk along the path to Hengistbury Head or hop on the little train to take you there.
We will definitely be returning to this lodge and have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

“Very smart lodge on a great holiday park”

By Katie on 05-Jul-2015

We stayed here for 2 nights, we were 2 adults, 2 children and a baby who slept in our travel cot in the living room. The lodge was nicely furnished, very clean with smart and modern kitchen and bathrooms. And a lovely terrace with a view of the sea. The holiday park is in a great location, just 2 minutes walk away from a sandy beach and various ice-cream and food options. We ate twice at the Noisy Lobster, the food was excellent and they were very kind to us ( a big group with 6 kids). The holiday park's outdoor swimming pool and toddler paddling pools were clean and heated so we could use them whatever the weather and all the staff we came across were very friendly. The owner of Harbour Lodge responded very quickly to my emails when I was booking the holiday and was very friendly and helpful in her replies.

“First class accommodation with an amazing view”

By Jan on 08-Jun-2015

We had a wonderful 3 night break in this beautiful lodge which met every expectation. My only regret is that we didn't have time to try out the lovely heated outdoor pool. We did however test the water and it felt very inviting. We hope to return soon!!

“Luxury lodge with a superb view”

By Barrie on 10-Jan-2015

We spent a delightful New Year break at Mudeford using Harbour Lodge as our base. We know Mudeford well and the view up the harbour which you get from the lodge is hard to beat. The property is beautifully set up and very comfortable and had been well prepared for us. We strongly recommend it.

“Home from home with a fabulous view.”

By Melek on 19-Apr-2014

If you are looking at similar holiday rentals in this area, look no further and book this one! This lodge is clean, well equipped, spacious and has a stunning view across Christchurch harbour. Sandhills site is also well kept with friendly staff and a great outdoor heated pool which our kids loved. Just a stone's throw from Mudeford Quay and Avon Beach, we hardly used our car at all. We had a relaxing break here and would love to return one day soon.

“Perfect family location”

By Emily on 02-Sep-2012

The accommodation is fabulous first class. Obviously a brand new caravan/chalet home was full of natural day light. Bathrooms modern and spotless.

Location fabulous perfect for families crab fishing galore on the quay and fabulous beeches all a 2 min walk.....no need to pile everyone in the car. Catch ferry to mudeford sands gorgeous beach huts. Go to the Nelson for the best thai food I've ever tasted.

Swimming pool on site lovely and warm ......

The only down side is the poor entertainment in the club house didn't make the effort with the children at 6 o clock a couple of mums got together with colouring. The bingo rubbish it's over a very poor speaker played with 7 other parks....not family fun at all.
