Welcome to Rover Cottage located in the lovely seaside village of Dymchurch on the south Kent coast. Rover Cottage is a detached cottage situated in our garden and was built by the Edwardians so has plenty of character! It was originally built for the family of the main house as their music room and later became a gardeners cottage. It has undergone some updating since then to make it a quaint and cosy getaway for a couple who would like to explore this area.

Rover Cottage has a blend of contemporary and character fittings and has everything you could possibly need for a self catering break. You enter into the kitchen which is very well equipped should you wish to cook a meal. From the kitchen there is a door to the sitting room where there is a lovely woodburner to keep the cottage cosy in winter. There is a smart TV with Netflix, WiFi is also available. The dining table and chairs are situated to look over the cottage garden. Downstairs there is a utility area with a whirlpool washer/dryer, ironing board and iron, Dyson stick hoover and clothes horse. From the utility area is where you will find the downstairs shower room with heated towel radiator, toilet and basin. Upstairs the bedroom has a comfortable double bed, wardrobe area, chest of drawers, cheval mirror and a useful chair. It should be noted that the stairs are steep and unsuitable for people with mobility issues.
If you don’t feel like playing chef one evening, a short stroll into the village centre will bring you to a selection of eateries to cater to all tastes, as well as shops for picking up the essentials. If the weather is on your side, be sure to soak up the sun at the village’s superb stretch of sandy beach which rests within a minute's walk from the cottage and is the perfect spot for letting your canine companion stretch his legs whilst you take in the coastal scenery.
