10 Moor Farm Cottages is in the very heart of the South Hams, Devon's area of outstanding natural beauty. This adorable bijou cottage is near to the coast but amidst the countryside and is an ideal location for an idyllic retreat or relaxing family holiday. Recently refurbished to give a luxury mid-century vibe, the cottage is perfect for a family to spend time in the countryside with beaches just a 5-minute drive away.

The small but perfectly formed ground-floor double bedroom and bunk beds are perfect for a family of 4. The courtyard garden with access via the main bedroom is the perfect place to have your morning coffee or relax the afternoon away on the patio furniture. There is a bathroom with a bath and shower over on the ground floor.

Upstairs, the fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, combination microwave oven and hob and integrated bins. There is a desk area at the end of the breakfast bar with a chair for remote working and the cosy open plan living and dining area with smart tv has a wood burner available for those cooler evenings. There is also a Herdio HMS5104 blue tooth sound system for you to enjoy.

Kingsbridge and Dartmouth are about 30 minutes away and are your nearest towns. Salcombe is a short boat ride across the estuary and beautiful country walks are abundant in and around the area with stunning views over the stunning Devon coastline. Dogs are allowed but please keep off the beds and furniture and please note, the lanes are narrow!

Really enjoyed our stay...

Really enjoyed our stay, immaculately clean. Well designed living area with all appliances needed in a small space. Bluetooth speaker are a nice touch. Only issue was the amount of hot water available. Not enough for a more than one bath which was a shame with 3 people wanting a relaxing bath on New Year’s Day. But didn’t take away from overall experience. Would recommend and come back for sure.

Tasteful decor and all the mod cons make this cosy cottage a great and affordable location for a country getaway. We''re a family of four with two small kids and a dog and while the cottage is compact it was the perfect size for us for a long weekend exploring the southernmost tip of Devon. High points were the ferry from the lovely beach at East Portlemouth to Salcombe, and back followed by an afternoon getting warm at The Pig''s Nose pub after a downpour. A morning at the stunning Seacombe and Rickman Sands followed by lunch at The Gara Rock Hotel, and a day out in our old favourite Totnes. We''d definitely come again!
