Situated in a quiet location in the attractive little market town of Fishguard on the Pembrokeshire coast, Brodog Court is a modern townhouse in a small mews-type development. Grouped around a communal courtyard with a fountain and individually allocated parking, it has been architect designed using reclaimed bricks and Victorian-style elements but incorporating modern conveniences including Wi-Fi. Featuring a contemporary yet welcoming living area on the first floor, and views of the surrounding area from the top floor, Brodog Court offers flexible holiday accommodation for couples, families and friends.

On the ground floor is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, ideal for couples or older children. The bright and airy living space on the first floor consists of cosy living and dining areas, plus a well-equipped kitchen with French windows opening onto a decorative balcony. On the top floor is a spacious master bedroom with a high pitched ceiling and wall-mounted TV, a family bathroom and a children's room with bunk beds and travel cot available. The bedrooms sleep six, with a maximum of four adults, plus one infant under two years of age in the travel cot.

Brodog Court has full central heating with individual thermostats on all the radiators. There is also luxurious underfloor heating in the bathrooms. The modern boiler ensures that hot water is available on demand at all times. A key is provided to the communal storeroom, accessed by a separate door to the left of the front door. Bikes, surfboards and other large items can be stored here.

Our usual change-over day is Saturday, apart from over the Christmas and New Year period when this is flexible. During school holidays and the summer season we regret that we cannot take bookings for parts of a week or different change-over days. At other times it may be possible to arrange a different change-over day or a short break with a minimum stay of 3 nights. Please send us an enquiry if you have specific dates in mind and we will try to accommodate you.

Great experience

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the owners made the whole process very easy. The house is in an ideal location, very central and it was a big plus to have a dedicated parking space available. Fishguard makes a good base for exploring Pembrokeshire, we have been coming to this part of the world for many years. Really good deli and chippy nearby! On suite bedroom on the ground floor was a big bonus for an elderly relative. Communication with the owners was easy, not intrusive but always felt they were available if needed and replied quickly to emails. We were told we could turn up early as the house had been empty the week before, which was a pleasant surprise, although we didn't need to take advantage of this. The house was clean, comfortable, modern and well equipped and a really lovely property overall. Decorations and fittings felt good quality, rather than done to a budget. Plenty of good information provided on heating controls etc, although didn't need to use during our stay. The only thing we missed was a bit of outside space but that is the nature of the house and we had the marine walk etc. on our doorstep anyway. Overall very positive and can recommend fully, would be happy to book again when we return to Fishguard.

Modern town house close to the centre of Fishguard

The Property: Brodog Court is a bright modern town house over three storeys near the centre of Fishguard. It has a downstairs bedroom and en-suite and the lounge/well equipped kitchen/dining table for four on the first floor. On the top floor was the main bedroom, bedroom with bunk beds and the smart bathroom with shower over. The house had everything we (two adults) needed for our one week stay. It was comfortable and very quiet, with parking in the courtyard. The Area: Fishguard town had everything we needed, from coffee shops, (occasional) market, Co-op to take-aways (all within a few minutes walk from the house). Fishguard is a small port with a pretty old harbour and although the nearest (small) beach is at Goodwick there are plenty of great beaches not too far away. There are lots of things to do and see in the area and outstanding views (from coastal, to historic castles, the cathedral at St. David’s etc). And our host: Jenny, the owner, was super. We have stayed at various cottages but never ‘met’ anyone as helpful, prompt, friendly. I could go on (and on!) but she really did make us feel at home, before, during and after our stay.
