Description

This 18th century, traditional, terraced fisherman’s cottage has only recently been been lovingly refurbished. Munrow Cottage retains much of its authentic character and although the original steep staircase and low beams may not suit everyone, for those looking for a relaxing break in a genuine, cosy, Cornish cottage, you will not be disappointed.

Flushing is one of the most picturesque villages in Cornwall with an exceptionally mild climate, fascinating history and friendly atmosphere. The area is renowned for its excellent sailing, sea angling and coastal walks. Flushing Beach is sheltered, calm and fantastic for swimming.

Munrow Cottage is located right in the heart of this beautiful village, within a minute’s walk of the quay and pubs. The cottage is south facing and enjoys a sunny aspect throughout the day. Flushing beach and the stunning coastal trails are within 15 minutes walk. A regular ferry service to Falmouth connects you effortlessly with numerous shops and restaurants and to additional ferry and train services.

The cottage is normally available Saturdays 15:00 (arrive) to 10:00 (leave), see prices for details. Minimum short stay 3 nights (POA).

We found Munrow Cottage as a last minute booking and really appreciated Danny being able to cater for our last minute changes. The cottage is lovely and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We hope to come again one day! Thanks Danny!

What a find! Munrow Cottage was a last minute summer booking. It has turned out to be a wonderful decision - Danny couldn''t have been more helpful and the cottage couldn''t have been lovelier. We would highly recommend this cottage and would love to come back.
