Slipway Apartment is a modern well equipped second floor apartment. There is a lift and reserved parking. Parking in Fowey is difficult, especially in season so to have your own reserved space just across the road is incredibly useful. You can even access the apartment without needing to negotiate the one way system in Fowey.

Fowey's central street, Fore Street, is just a 5 minute mainly level walk away. Many guests comment that this is a delightful walk into town with plenty of river views on the way.

There are 2 bedrooms, one with a 5ft bed and 1 with a 3ft single bed and space for a cot which can be provided. The living room has a vaulted ceiling and river views to the side and the whole apartment is modern, smart and very well equipped.

Included in the rental is linen, house towels, essentials welcome pack, heating as needed and end of rental clean. With the apartment being so lovely and warm in winter and so much to do in Fowey, it makes it as good for a winter's break as in summer.

There is no outside space but the view of the river from the living room is always of interest with so much going on. You can watch the ferry to Bodinnick which runs all day and there is also seating next to the water here. Great for crabbing and watching the world go by.

Fowey has a wealth to do within the town. There are numerous good eateries, both restaurants and bars/pubs including some with terraces on the waterfront; perfect for an afternoon tea or a summers evening. Fowey is renowned for sailing and water activities and it is easy to get on the water. There is a public slipway right outside the apartment, and you can hire canoes and boats locally as well as take boat trips from the bustling town quay. Coastal walking is a delight in summer and winter with the famous Hall Walk literally on your doorstep, and there are plenty of places to visit in the area including the Eden Project.

Out of season, we take bookings for 2-3 nights. Please see the rates for more details. Peak season is normally a Saturday changeover but we may be able to accommodate you differently.

The property was well located in Fowey overlooking the Bedinnick ferry. The apartment was very modern and clean. Having a dedicated parking space was excellent. We had a lovely time in and around Fowey.

What an absolutely perfect place to stay in Fowey!
We’ve stayed in a lot of homes through Homeaway and Airbnb and this place in Fowey is one of the best. So beautifully decorated and well thought-through, as well as a wonderful welcome gift of Prosecco and milk! You couldn’t ask for much more! Fowey is a beautiful old harbour village but this meana parking is at a premium. So having an allocated parking space is fantastic and really valuable. We saw so many people traipsing through the streets with their suitcases, we realised how lucky we were. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has lots of lovely extras such as tea, coffee, milk, games, DVDs and guides to the local area. The instructions were spot on and easy to follow. I really would strongly recommend a visit!

An excellent property - really enjoyed our stay

I have stayed in Fowey many times in the past. I was drawn to this property for several reasons. The location is excellent - no hills to climb and the fact it has its own allocated parking place is a great advantage and very unusual in Fowey - in the past I have had to park in the main car-park and walk sometimes a fair distance to the property I stayed in It is well equipped and excellently maintained. When we first arrived we had assumed it had been newly been available for rental as it is in such good condition - but looking at the visitor's book it has been available for at least 4 years. But very well maintained and decorated. There are great amenities in terms of free wi-fi, large TV with freeview, good heating (although it was cold outside the apartment was always warm and toasty), comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed the bottle of prosecco which had been left as a welcome! It's about a 5-10 ,minute walk into the main part of town with all the shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. It is all on the flat so no steep hills to climb at the end of the evening! It was also very quiet. Although we could see lights on in other apartments we never heard any noise from our neighbours. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property. It is ideal for two people. If and when we return to Fowey we would certainly consider staying here again.
