Good size 1 double bedroom flat in perfect central London location
Winfield House is part of the Battersea Village complex, just across the road from The Thames. Set in mature and attractive gardens, this generously-sized one double bedroom flat is newly refurbished in a classically-contemporary style. Just 200 metres from trendy Battersea Square, there are vast numbers of great restaurants and bars within minute's walking distance. Or promenade along the lovely river walk and cross Battersea Bridge to Chelsea, just an easy and scenic12 minutes walk away from the flat. Battersea Village is a purpose-built Edwardian gated complex with its own well-tended gardens, where in the right weather you can sit outside with a drink or picnic. Just across from us, there is a small park, including a municipal tennis court which is free to use.

The nearest station is Clapham Junction (Europe's busiest railway station!), an 8 minute walk away. From Clapham it is a 7 minute journey to Victoria, Waterloo or 35 minutes to Gatwick Airport. There is a bus stop just outside which can take you to Chelsea, Pimlico and Victoria or towards Roehampton. There is also a 'city bike' rank just outside. The flat has excellent wifi and wifi TV. It also has it's own parking space which is available at extra cost.

This is stylish spacious flat for two people in a well maintained building in an attractive and peaceful setting, close to the river. It is in an excellent position to make the best of the fantastic facilities close by. It is not suitable for children, as there are a number of mirrored/delicate furnishings and fittings which will not withstand careless usage. But it is those things which lift it above the average rental!

This is a beautiful newly decorated flat in a terrific and attractive central London location, right by the River Thames. It is well positioned for cultural activities, shopping, general London living, and business. There are numerous stylish and interesting restaurants, bars and pubs within a three minute walk

I had such a wonderful time staying here. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and was a pleasure to come home to every night. The bed is extremely comfortable with nice linens, the shower water is nice and hot, and the water pressure is excellent. The owners are incredibly sweet, and were genuinely concerned that I had a good time during my stay.

Bright and spacious one bedroom flat in the Vicarage Crescent complex in Battersea. 5-10 minute walk to the 170, 44, and 49 bus lines to Victoria Station. 15 minute walk to Clapham Junction railway station, Britain’s busiest station and easy access from there to Waterloo Station, Greenwich, and Hampton Court Palace. Flat is clean, comfortable, and especially for London, quite spacious. We stayed here for 10 days in November, and I’d recommend it highly.

This flat is about a 20 minute walk from Clapham Junction, near Battersea Square (where there are cafes and restaurants, a good pub, and a music venue) and the riverside walk. There is no Underground stop nearby, but bus 170 to Victoria stops just outside the buildings, and other bus routes are just a short walk away at Battersea Bridge. We were able to walk along the river to Battersea Park, Chelsea, and Kensington, and visited St. Mary's Church nearby where William Blake was married, and Turner used to paint (free concerts here during the summer). The flat was comfortable and clean, and Paul was very helpful and accommodating to our special requests. The kitchen included both a dishwasher and a washing machine, and we were able to cook meals daily. This area of South London is on the flight path to Heathrow (and a heliport is nearby) so there is aircraft noise, but Paul disclosed this to us before we booked the flat. We enjoyed our stay and our interactions with Paul, and would be happy to return.

The apartment is really nice and well furnished. It perfectly corresponds to the description of the ad. It is very quiet especially in the evening (during the day London planes break a bit this silence ...). The apartment building is inserted in a beautiful and well-kept garden full of flowers .... one morning we met also a nice squirrel ! The Apt. is easy to reach with bus 170 (passing every 10 minutes) and the lack of a nearby subway station is not really a problem. If you need a lot of Uber taxis are just around the corner. The Battersea area is very safe and we had no problems walking around even at night. Paul, the owner of the apt., was perfect in providing in advance all the information needed (shopping, transport) and Gosia, the apt. manager, gave us for sure a nice welcome with all the explanation needed for the stay. Definitively I would recommend this apartment for people that don't need to stay in the (crowded) center of the city and looking for a very relaxing stay. Personally I hope to have the possibility to come back here soon.

This perfectly sized little gem made for a cosy and enjoyable stay for two in London. Everything is as you see on the images put up. The flat is in a gated area in Battersea and nearby the River Thames. If wanting a little quiet from the London buzz, this place is perfect. This area is not serviced with a tube station nearby however, there are bus stops outside the building and round the corner which frequently service routes across the bridge to Chelsea/Victoria and into Central London. There is also, the Clapham Junction overground that takes you quickly into Central London (or outbound) which is not too far a walking distance or few bus stops away to get to. Access to lovely cafes with good cofffee(!!), nice charming restaurants/eateries and the smaller supermarkets/grocery stores/pharmacy are all within walking distance once you get your bearings around the neighbourhood. All which has been described in detail on the website's page. The owners, Paul and Fiona are most accommodating and are at hand to answer your queries or give you assistance to make your stay a pleasant one. I, definitely, recommend this flat. In fact, be back there to stay again, soon!

We did not know quite what to expect when we rented this apartment because it is newly-listed and has not had any reviews yet. However, it was just as lovely as it looks in the photos, in a great part of London, with lots going on. We were right by the river, and very close to Battersea Square that had loads of different restaurants and bars that we loved. We also walked along the riverside and across Battersea Bridge to Chelsea which is fascinating, and just 15 minutes walk away. Public transport is also easy, either buses (one of which stops just outside), Santander bikes (there is also a stand just outside) or trains from nearby Clapham Junction into town, or to Gatwick. This apartment is fabulous, and we definitely want to come back again!
