However, it was just as lovely as it looks in the photos, in a great part of London, with lots going on. We were right by the river, and very close to Battersea Square that had loads of different restaurants and bars that we loved. We also walked along the riverside and across Battersea Bridge to Chelsea which is fascinating, and just 15 minutes walk away. Public transport is also easy, either buses (one of which stops just outside), Santander bikes (there is also a stand just outside) or trains from nearby Clapham Junction into town, or to Gatwick. This apartment is fabulous, and we definitely want to come back again!

Vicarage Crescent, 24 Winfield House, London, SW11 3LN, United Kingdom Date of Stay 9 Dec 2016 Helpful votes: 0/0 This perfectly sized little gem made for a cosy and enjoyable stay for two in London. Everything is as you see on the images put up. The flat is in a gated area in Battersea and nearby the River Thames. If wanting a little quiet from the London buzz, this place is perfect. This area is not serviced with a tube station nearby however, there are bus stops outside the building and round the corner which frequently service routes across the bridge to Chelsea/Victoria and into Central London. There is also, the Clapham Junction overground that takes you quickly into Central London (or outbound) which is not too far a walking distance or few bus stops away to get to. Access to lovely cafes with good cofffee(!!), nice charming restaurants/eateries and the smaller supermarkets/grocery stores/pharmacy are all within walking distance once you get your bearings around the neighbourhood. All which has been described in detail on the website's page. The owners, Paul and Fiona are most accommodating and are at hand to answer your queries or give you assistance to make your stay a pleasant one. I, definitely, recommend this flat. In fact, be back there to stay again, soon!
