What a fabulous fabulous place

By Wendy on 01-Jul-2024

What a fabulous fabulous place to come for a holiday. So incredibly relaxing and owners were just fantastic from the initial enquiry right through to us going home. The property was even better than how good it looked on the photos. We so appreciated the cake when we arrived too that Dolly brought for us, though it was so scrummy it didn't last long :-). Everything you need for a great holiday (all those little touches you didn't know you wanted) and a brilliant base for exploring north to mid Cornwall or south Devon. Would give 6 stars if we could

Amazing

By Georgia on 17-Jun-2024

Everything was perfect for our first family trip to Cornwall! Although the cottages themselves are slightly out of the way of the popular spots such as St Ives, Newquay and Padstow - the town of Launceston is beautiful in its own right and if you’re willing to drive to the more popular destinations, it isn’t an issue! The park and games room on site was the highlight of our children’s stay and really helped break up the days with little ones. The park can be viewed from the cottages too for even further piece of mind! There was coffee, tea, fresh cake and fresh flowers on arrival which really set the tone for a lovely holiday. The cottage was clean, well presented and well equipped for a stay away. I even managed to make a dint in my holiday washing with having the washing machine and a few washing pods already in the cottage. All neighbours were lovely and the area was peaceful and quiet too. What topped it off for us personally was the ‘happy birthday’ flag floating outside of the cottage for my daughter’s 8th birthday whilst we were staying at Trevadlock - which was all down to the hosts and their thoughtfulness! I would definitely recommend to anyone and would definitely return.

English Countryside

By Selim on 22-Apr-2024

This place is a pure and typical exemple of English countryside. Everything inside is nice, tidy and cosy. We had the pleasure to discover a cake crafted by Dolly at our arrival, which was delicious and more than welcome after a long journey. The garden is huge but well maintened and filled with awesome surprises for children. We would come back with no hesitation !
