Friendly Cottage is a detached stone barn converted into a lovely cottage in the quiet and historic part of the village of Llanarth. Here you are about 1.5 miles to the beach at Cei Bach and 2.5 miles from the bustling seaside village of New Quay.
The cottage has two bedrooms (a twin and a double) and two bathrooms. There is a well equipped fitted kitchen including a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer. There is a separate dining room and a smart, spacious sitting room.
The rear garden is reached up a few steps, with a gentle slope to a sunny area with lovely countryside views, garden furniture and barbecue.
Many walks nearby and the Coast Path is within easy reach. There's a village shop and pub in Llanarth, as well as a harbour and lovely beaches at New Quay. Take a boat trip out to the bay and look out for dolphins! The attractive Georgian town of Aberaeron is about 4 miles to the north.
Changover day is Saturday. Minimum stay 7 nights. Sorry, no pets, no smoking.
Great, comfortable cottage

We had a very enjoyable stay at Friendly cottage, it was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. As we were staying over New Year extra touches such as a Christmas tree, card and bottle of wine upon arrival were appreciated. Good location for exploring the area and local shop open regularly for forgotten items.
One of the best self-catering properties we have stayed in.

The property was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Everything worked! It is well-situated for exploring Ceredigion but a car is essential. Llanarth itself has little to offer but New Quay and Aberaeron are conveniently close. We recommend The Hungry Trout in New Quay - very good Sunday Lunches. One small quibble: the waste and recycling arrangements were quite different from our usual ones and could have been better explained. Our weather was very good but the cottage was well-equipped with things for a rainy day. Overall we would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
A great holiday better by great accommodation

The cottage was well appointed, spacious and very clean. Room sizes were fantastic with beautiful views from most windows and we were made to feel very welcome, but left in peace to enjoy our holiday. This cottage is highly recommenced and we will no doubt book again next year. Thank you for making our stay perfect in every way.
Excellent cottage in a fantastic location

This is our 2nd visit to Friendly Cottage, and it was exactly as we remembered it. A well equipped, lovely cottage in a peaceful setting, which had everything we needed for a self catering holiday. We remembered also that the cottage had enough things to keep two lively boys entertained for a week. The location is fantastic for exploring the coast. Cei Bach and Newquay are very close - just a 7 minute drive to NewQuay. It is also close to some of the more picturesque quieter coves and beaches such as NT Penbryn, Tresaith, Lllandbedrog and if you want larger towns, Aberystwyth and Cardigan are well within driving range for a day trip. We have stayed in other cottages in the area but this is one we would recommend and return to. The visitors book in the cottage is full of glowing positive reviews about the cottage. Ideal for couples of for families with a couple of children like us. Ample parking too, and an attached barn where you can store outdoors gear and bikes.
A beautiful cottage in a beautiful area.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful area. Friendly Cottage certainly lives up to it's name. Well furnished and very comfortable, everything you could want is provided, and there are 2 good shops in the village.
