Ideal holiday cottage

By Pete on 30-Aug-2024

The cottage is a clean, comfortable and well equipped property. It suited us perfectly as we were able to walk into town easily (no need to use the car too much). Plenty of choice for pubs, restaurants and shops. Excellent supermarkets should you want to eat in (M&S Food or Waitrose). The town is really full of character with its bustling Saturday market. The Recreation ground is close by, an ideal spot to watch the IoW ferry and other activities on the water. All in all, an ideal property that makes the most of its location.

Excellent location

Couldn’t be any more perfect

By Denise and Vince on 05-Jul-2024

Ropewalk Cottage is a delightful cottage overlooking the marina and just a 10/15 minute walk into Lymington town centre. The cottage couldn’t be any more perfect. The upstairs lounge/diner is light, airy and comfortable to relax in. We loved having breakfast on the balcony watching the morning begin on the water. The cottage is beautifully clean and really well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Caroline and William sent information about places to visit in the area and and a guide to the local restaurants which proved very useful. We particularly enjoyed eating at The Kings Head, The Haven and eatPizza. Thank you both. We had a wonderful time and would thoroughly recommend a stay at Ropewalk Cottage.

2 Ropewalk Cottages - “a little gem”

By Sarah on 07-Mar-2024

Great host, we have found a little gem, we will definitely return.

What struck us most was the attention to detail

By Helen and Mike on 13-Mar-2024

We did enjoy our stay at 2 Ropewalk Cottage. What struck us most was the attention to detail to ensure we were comfortable and safe. For example, the LED movement sensitive little strip lights on the stairs and skirting. There is every utensil you could possibly need in the well equipped kitchen, and it was really helpful for us to have a bottle of milk in the fridge when we arrived.
